@Navydaddjtc - thanks for the motivational kick up the butt! I definitely need it, seeing that I'm particularly good at finding excuses for that 'little bit of chocolate won't hurt', 'one more glass at of wine at the weekend is ok, after a busy week!' Just got to get the brain link between 'whatever passes my lips will get it's way to my hips!!!'

@abowersgirl - congrats on the weight loss! Well done for getting below 140! Any tips?
It's hard to say whether or not I have some good advice. I have been stuck at 142-140 for the past two and a half months and the only thing that got me through was patience and determination. I finally pushed myself out of the 40s and i am sure I didn't do anything different to contribute. I eat the same, workout the same, only use my calories as a base line and actually pay attention to my macros/micro, drink the same amount of water...I think the only thing I have done different is increased my fiber. SPOILER TMI ALERT. Every since I started this little journey my bowel movements haven't been as regular as they were before I started watching what I ate...well adding fiber has improved that tremendously. I hope all that helps 😣3 -

Good morning!
Yesterday was not such a good day. I accepted that I am not going to lose much before my vacation in a couple weeks. So I went shopping and bought new bathing suits and tops and cover ups. I then went online and ordered a bunch of shorts since they are of course not in stores at the moment.
I then spent the day eating everything in sight. And it’s like I could feel myself blowing up like a balloon. I’m sore everywhere. I feel exactly like I did at Nine months pregnant. Stretched and puffy, heartburn, winded from putting on my boots. Why isn’t this the wake up call I need to make a change?
As with every other day, im determined that today i will track my calories and eat below target. I will keep checking in.2 -

I learned this weekend that my mother in law is going to have to move in with us for an undetermined amount of time. So I spent two days rearranging my house to make room for her. At the end of day two I was so tired and stressed that we ordered in pizza and I didn’t even care how many calories it all was. Hopefully I’ll be back fully on track this week but I know some of the real trouble will come once she’s here. But hey at least the rearranging is done and we’re as ready as we can be.5

My 2 hour calorie burn today was going to weigh in. I’m in South Carolina visiting my parents and there’s no scale around here but I found a Weight Watchers meeting this morning so I walked/ran 3.4 miles there and walked 3.4 miles back. 300 calories there, 250 calories back.4
