@Dave....wow! I thought we had it as when we got dumbed with 4inxhes at rush hour this morning. But I will keep ours and you can keep yours.
@vhuber: Thank you for the well wishes. I will rise from the ashes..lol.
Feb. 20: My doc torqued the life out of my knee and he squeeze the heck out of it so I was swollen most of the day but I got on the bike and rode 12 easy miles . I will take 10mph. It beats no miles.
Adding 13 miles of walking 1 miles and cycling for 12 miles

It's just weird to have so much snow...officially 31.5"...after starting the month with bare grass. March usually brings a lot more. It looks like we might have a very wet Spring and lots of swollen rivers.
Got 6.0 bonus miles on the bike this morning.
Dave

@Dave - . What else is there to say /\/\ - I take it that’s you??
@clepant - my heart goes out to you, you are enduring a great deal with your poor knees ... take care

@Dave: You are really getting dumped on....I mean the snow. We went from four inches yesterday to rain and 40’s today and back up to the 50’s this week. I feel like the weather is a yo-yo.
@Chris: I am happy you had a good day this week. Hope that this is finally the turn around for you.
It has been a rough week. My dad is having neck spasms again, He had to go for an echocardiogram and blood work. His INR was worse than two weeks ago. He was at 4.4 and needs to be close to 2.0 in two weeks for his new pacemaker implant.
Adding 5 miles today. My biking did not make my tear happy so I had to stop. So 2.5 walking and 2.5 cycling.
TTD: 293 miles

Wow, back to back posts.
Adding 25 miles for 196 out of 250. 6 days and 54 miles to go. I think I can do this if I can just stay healthy.1 -

2/10 - 6 miles
2/11 - 7 miles
2/16 - 9 miles

Been having knee issues for about a year now. Haven't "run" for any amount since last February...lots of walking, but no running. The pain finally got bad enough for me to see my dr about it in January. He told me to see an ortho as he saw fluid on my knee in the x ray. Got to an ortho and he tells me no fluid, but the pain is arthritis. UGH! He gave me a cortisone shot which helped a little until I twisted my knee and pain shot up to an 11! I went back to him and explained that I have a vacation to Paris and Rome coming up for two weeks. I need to be able to walk. He is going to give me a brace and another shot before my trip. Hoping this shot does the trick and I have years before the pain comes back. Otherwise (and I am trying not to dwell on this just yet), I hate to think of my future not being able to do any more races without a big walking contingent or even just to walk on the treadmill! Right now I have been sticking to the stationary bike at the gym and trying not to anger my knee before the trip. I really hate to think that this might be an issue effecting my happiness and peace of mind (that I get from exercise) for the rest of my life.
Thanks for listening...1 -
