    It is usually FOODIE FRIDAY, and I have to say I really enjoyed dinner tonight.

    Salmon with eggplant, zucchini, and kale in a lightly applied yellow curry sauce. Stick to the ribs but not heavy.

    Friday Baseball - 45 minutes total (2 x 10 minutes HIIT on the bike plus 25 minutes LISS on the mini-trampoline ) 2976 steps.

    Foodie Friday ..... I got a nutritional-sticker shock yesterday .... so I am on maintenance now, and thought "I am gonna get myself a chocolate Easter bunny this year!" So I was in the grocery store, looked at the back of the Allen's chocolate bunny .... 180 calories .....for 1/4 of the bunny! WHO ONLY EATS 1/4 BUNNY PER DAY?????

    So I went for the (more expensive yet much higher quality) Lint individually wrapped chocolate mini-eggs - 27 calories each - put the bag in the freezer - and will ration / savor them 1 (27 calories) or 2 (54 calories) or 3 max (80 calories) at a time. MUCH easier to do when they are individually wrapped!

    Thursday steps 7,131
    Not great on steps today. Tornado warnings most of the day. Kept my granddaughter close and pushed her around the house on her Tricycle.

    This has been a hard week emotionally/stressfully. I have been unfocused. Exercise, except my daily plank, has been low. Steps etc.

    I am determined to get back on track. I’ve worked too hard. I have logged my food. May have forgotten a few things, but I faced whatever I ate as much as I can remember.

    I’m afraid I will probably have a gain again tomorrow. Not hopeful. I have to be so strict to lose. So easy to gain. I’ll let you know tomorrow.

    I didn't get any exercise or enough steps in sorry. This cold is really wearing me down, and the house next to ours was on fire (it is suspicious), plus fire department had to be called back 2 other times because it was smoldering again. There is distance between our houses but the flames were so hot on our porch. I was more concerned about my pets (1 dog and two cats).

    *****I can't wait to post my steps for today (4/20/19) because I'll be walking a quarter marathon later this morning. That's 6.55 miles in addition to whatever else I walk throughout the day. I'm determined to finish strong! Stay tuned...

    What a lot of news - crazy weather, fire, some slumps, some anticipation and excitement.

    @kittu125 - thanks for all the stats and the great support to the baseball team when some of us have been hitting a bit of a slump. You are shining! No problem for a week off your weigh-in. I just put in the same weight as last time, and you can catch back up next week.

    @jlbtnc - YIKES. You have been having quite the time, and holding up (I find) really beautifully. You have been posting. You are taking care of pets, dealing with the fire next door, fighting a nasty cold - there are many hugs flying your way.

    @fourathomej - yep. Trying to outrun the extra eating does not work too well. I'm doing the same thing this week, and not even being that great at facing up to it and tracking everything. Hate it when that happens. But we'll get back on top of it - we know what to do and we're going to do it, right? Next week's weigh-in - let's make it a really good one.

    @micki48 - tornado warnings -- holy moly. I thought our flood warnings here were kind of scary, but tornadoes always take the cake where warnings go. And your little granddaughter is being super well taken care of. You too will beat this slump! Let's all hit the green next week, ok?

    @evangsimmons170 - Fantastic stepping and now a quarter marathon! Have a blast!

    Then there are all the members I'd love to reach out to who have not given us their news. I hope everyone is OK and just busy and having so much great stuff to do that you don't have time to post messages!
