In spite of having a fairly low calorie and high-activity weekend, I GAINED weight which is really frustrating. Luckily my official weigh-in is not until Friday so I have a bit to get back on track. I didn’t track everything on Saturday, so that must be where the gain came from. It’s just hard because I thought I was nailing it.
Last week’s goals
• Record all calories every day this week – yes except for Saturday!
• Run 1.25 miles – I ran 1.25 and then on Saturday I was extra ambitious and ran another mile in the morning.
• Ride Phoenix (my horse) 2x – I missed one ride because I had to attend a work event for my boyfriend
• Be in bed, phone off by 11:00 on weeknights – Mostly, I was a little late 2 times I think
• Marie Kondo style organize and clean out my T-shirt/pants drawers – I am about half way there! The part I finished looks great
This week's goals!
• Run 2.5 miles
• Do yoga one day
• Ride Phoenix 2x
• Be in bed, phone off by 10:45 on week nights
• Be under my calorie goal every day
• Finish my organizing my drawers!

Loss: 1 pound
I am counting my small victories and blessings. First time below 250 since 2 years ago. Yay! My 2nd week of following my new diet. I had hoped for 1 1/2 or 2 pounds lost, especially since I just started my diet, but after injuring my knee I won't be able to do any exercise for 2 or 3 more weeks. I am very sedentary, so my dietitian suggested lowering my calories from 1,500 to 1,400 during this time of no exercise. And I did it! When I tried dieting 2 years ago, the best I could manage was 1,800 daily calories. My determination is so much better this time around. I also went to a girls get-together on Saturday and pre-planned my day so I could partake of snacks. Only went over 40 calories for the day. I continue to meet my June goals of daily checking my diabetes blood sugar numbers and daily logging. My daily exercise goal is on the sidelines for June until my knee recovers.
Thank you, team, for your support and encouragement. Have a wonderful week! Pam8 -
Happy Monday!!!
I must confess... I did not food prep yesterday. I slept a lot. I feel like my body needed it so I just rested. I have logged today so far and I'm in a good position for dinner tonight - which I have not planned...
As I stated earlier, I was 227.8 Saturday. OUCH - this was a shocker. I did weigh again this am and was 226.4...

Hello all. Sorry for being MIA for most of last week. Hubby's health is not good right now. He started home infusions for the next three weeks. He is such a Nervous Ned when it comes to these sorts of things and is driving me a bit wacky. A nurse comes each Monday and Friday to put on pressure dressings for his rt foot and leg and he gets a big box of "goodies" each Thursday for his weekly infusions, which are twice daily.
With all of this going on I am stress eating and not drinking enough water. Very lucky to have stayed the same on weight. That was probably from all the back and forth with hubby.
Blessings,

I need this recipe!!!! I have been contemplating making such cake, but making it in muffin tins and freezing them. This way - if I want cake, I can easily portion 1 piece without being tempted to eat the whole thing.
I also searched an old thread and found the recipe for high protein low carb cheesecake. If y'all are interested, I will post. It is a good substitute, but a little spongy compared to real cheesecake - Or maybe I am over cooking.3 -

Hi!
Here's the recipe, and I gotta say, noone believes it Keto!
https://www.fittoservegroup.com/finally-a-keto-cream-cheese-coconut-flour-pound-cake/
You can also head over to YouTube, type in Keto Cream Cheese Coconut Flour pound cake, and watch it made step by step. You'll get two different people, but they use the same recipe, with one uses lemon extract instead of vanilla. I cut the recipe in half and made both, and made the glaze for the lemon which made it more Yum. Here's the "nutes" per slice:
