Good morning everyone,
I hope you all have been doing well. I have not worked out as I planned this week, I did go to a dance class on Tuesday but that was it. Tonight we are going out to dinner so no time to fit in a workout today, unless I consider my walk at lunch a workout, which I normally do not. Saturday I am going to sign up at the gym called Twisted Fitness, I am excited about trying something new. My goal is to go at least 4 times a week and try the different classes, not be afraid of trying something that I am not confident about. Changing my mindset with lead to changing my body. It feels good to check in with you all.

@Shirin_K and @nstephen01 great job to both of you for dropping down into the next set of numbers. great accomplishment! @cyndiesstuff you had a huge loss last week so it makes sense you held out this week on the scale. Still qualifies as 2 pounds a week average this month. I know you will do well in your interview. So happy you are doing well with your eating in balance. It really does get better and easier. It's always there but it does become manageable. I like your new gentle attitude!0

If you were to ask me to place a bet on whether or not I got that job oh, I would tell you I believe that job is mine. The interview went great the boss seems really nice. It was good. Now we wait8

“This is a reading we had at our wedding.-
An Apache wedding blessing:
Now you will feel no rain,
for each of you will be shelter for the other.
Now you will feel no cold,
for each of you will be warmth to the other.
Now there will be no loneliness,
for each of you will be companion to the other.
Now you are two persons,
But there is only one life before you.
May beauty surround you both in the journey ahead and through all the years.
May happiness be your companion to the place where the river meets the sun.
And may your days be good and long upon the earth."~Amsandos

Dang... I was about to do my daily post and just read all of the lovely posts to @cyndiesstuff!! Cyn We will all be there in spirit when you and Jim exchange your vows. luv ya much!! And yes hope you post some pictures. Enjoy every moment!!
Daily Check in: Wednesday
Food: Pre-logged, but didn't eat as planned
Water: Good
Exercise & steps: 16,510 steps... not gonna lie I'm super happy to have my new band so I can wear my Fitbit again
To beat the heat I skipped breakfast to get my yard work project done thinking I would just have a late breakfast. Breakfast didn't happen... grabbed some leftover pasta for lunch. I had dinner planned and pre-logged but hubby Facetimed me (which I hated because I was a hot mess from working in the garden most of the day) then the bank called because we're refinancing the rental in Cali to buy some land adjacent to our house here then my dad called which I love but it was some good some bad news. Roller coaster emotional night and 3 hours later of being on the phone I burned dinner and drank too much wine. I didn't feel hungover this morning but I did feel like I didn't get a good nights sleep.
Today is a new day. Hydrating and planning healthy food for the next week. Mishaps happen in our life and I used to use it as an excuse to throw in the towel. Not anymore. One day at a time... just one day! I can do this! Bout to watch the Warriors/Raptors game for as long as I can stay awake.

Congrats and much happiness to you both

My x-rays were good. Some mild degenerative changes but nothing that should be causing me pain. The orthopedic doctor thinks it is my back. I am getting and MRI and most likely will be going to PT. Now to wait for the MRI to be approved by my insurance...
@julie8468 journaling is so important. Keep at it even if it doesn't seem to help at first. I know the Phit and Phat podcasts had at least one on journaling.
@Mrsbell8well I bet your son gets his baking skills from you! I am not surprised that the tart was a hit! It is sad with our parents getting older. That is what hit me in Florida, my aunts and uncles that we used to have so much fun with are all gone. The ones that are left are so fragile. Our relationships with them do change.
@gottagetthisdown Thanks for checking in! It is great you get out for a walk at lunch daily! You may not consider it a workout but it is still awesome that you do it! That gym class sounds like it may be fun! Enjoy!
@cyndiesstuff You still are down a good amount since the beginning of the month! I am glad you aren't worried about it. That is not really even a gain. You have been doing great! I am excited to hear that the interview went well! So many exciting things for you now!!
@Shirin_K Nice loss! Hello 150s!! You have been doing great and it is showing on the scale!
@carlsoda Love the idea of a spread sheet for planning! I wish I could do more on the computer. Lol! Dinner sounds yummy!
@ljdanny How's it going? I know I have seen your workouts!
@ljdanny @pacsnc6 I must have messed up when I cut and pasted! I am going to post something else! Sorry! Ugh!
@nstephenson01 I have had days like that, just one thing after another. The important thing is you have a good plan for today. Hugs! Nice loss today!

wow what a day yesterday. the best part is i at like a normal person! the job interview went great. i really do think the job is mine. i probably won't find out till i go back to work on the 26th. the boss seemed like a nice guy. i really liked his attitude. he is also very motivated. i can't wait to find out!! then i came home and took a 45 minute nap. got up ate a good lunch and then went to pick my youngest son up from the air port. i haven't seen him since last may. i sure wish he lived close to me. i miss the relationship we use to have. but the love is still there. i hugged him and held him close. it made my heart sing. then i came on here and you all gave be that beautiful shower. as i read each one of your comments I thanked God that he let me find this group. You all mean so much to me! Your not only my team, your also my friends. so today is the day. i am up early, couldn't sleep. i have to be at the hair dressers at 12. i am so excited to marry the man of my dreams.
@Shirin_K ohhh yeah girl. you are officially in the 150's. that is great. good job doing the hard work. a life time of love and happiness!! that is exactly what will happen. xoxo
@carlsoda sometimes we think we want something to eat and we really just want the experience. and i would say that your day was perfect. perfectly you. you are creating this new amazing you that really thinks about taking care of herself. that is the best NSV!! and thanks for the luck. all the well wishes from you all made a huge difference. i went in there and sold myself. you are right, i live 30 minutes from the Blue Water Bridge. yes... a life time of happiness and love. that is now my destiny! xoxox
@Julie8468 thanks for the luck. and it was the most amazing day yesterday. i had missed my son soooo much. and i looked up and translated your words. Merci, mon amie xoxoxo
@nstephenson01 ohhh yeah girl. you are now in the 160's to stay. this is the last time we are going to lose this weight. we can do this. now..... get making that plan girl. the new nancy is waiting!! yes!! love, joy and happiness. that is what we are going to create together. thanks for always being there. xoxoox and yes! your fitbit band came in. i bought a big pack. i think i got like 8 different colors. lol. and alcohol certainly can ruin a good nites sleep. it sounds like your evening blew up. hey!! but you didn't eat thru it. now put the wine away, and make today the best day yet!! and remember, sometimes life just happens, the new nancy moves on and takes care of herself. smile girl. you are beautiful.
@gottagetthisdown i am so glad you checked in. i really think some podcast may help you work on your mindset. you are right. the hardest part of losing weight is changing your mind. there are a few different ones. losing 100 lbs with phit n phat, thinner peace in menopause and beyond, weight loss made real with cookie rosenbloom. just to name a few i listen to. they really make you analyze the way you think about food, weight loss, and exercise. and just over all taking care of yourself. you should check them out. lets starting working on the future you. xoxox
@Mrsbell8well you, as always, are right! i did do really well on my interview. i am working very hard on my "wack a mole" tendencies! i cannot jam a square peg into a round hole. now, i have learned, that i need to carefully chisel down that square peg. it will fit a little better every day!! i am so thankful for your friendship. you have watched me stuggle and love me anyway! and jim is the most perfect man. the man of my dreams. xoxoxo
@pacsnc6 thanks for your support Patsy! i am a success!! and that is what we have, much happiness. i am marrying the man of my dreams, xoxox
@amsandos and that wedding blessing is so beautiful. thank you for sharing those lovely words with me. i finally have someone i want to spend the rest of my life with. xoxox
@kirsten11872 the last half of my book Kristen, is going to be amazing. the new Cyndie i am building may be a work in progress, but the chapter reads like a fairy tale. my fairy tale. xoxoxo
@lennoncpa ohh yes. the years ahead. we are building this amazing life one day at a time. and i get to do it with the man of my dreams! i am a luck girl. xoxo
@sleepymom5 thank you so much pam you are a great co captain! and i appreciate your kind words. and Jim and i have started this beautiful journey. he has such a kind helping spirit. he is going to be a great partner for the rest of my life. xoxox degenerative changes can cause quite a bit of pain. but your right, that is probably not your answer. keep looking and pt will help regardless. great self care girl. you made it thru the week. now... have you made your weekend plan?
@eyesopennow and a very special thanks to the token man at my bridal shower! i am so happy you came. you have become a wonderful part of our team and i am happy to call you friend. omgosh, the united way is one of my favorite charities. that is truly a blessing of the greatest kind. xoxoxo to you buddy! i still want to know what the results of your blood work was.....
@ljdanny thats just a small gain. work on a plan this weekend. it is time to kick this in the butt for good. you can do this you know. you are a strong intelligent woman. now, it is time to start your new plan. what is your next best step? and thank you for the well wishes. i truly am marrying the man of my dreams. his is my rock, my security, my most valued companion. xoxox
@twyla77 ohhhh! i am now one of the cool kids. i think that is the best thing you could have said to me. thanks Twyla i am madly in love with my soon to be husband. he is the best part of the second half of my story. xoxoxo
@lenka1 our journey together. it is very sweet. i am so happy to have found such a wonderful man for the second half of my life. i have been given a second chance to love. i am truly blessed!1 xoxox
