Ive hit over 5 miles the last 2 days. I am going to try to keep that up every day.
I texted @Beka3695 that I need her to start getting it together.. so next week, in the mornings, she is going to do some walking at work while I get up and jog before work. (I work from home)

This should be my goal for next week. Maybe it'll help me get out of this funk...

I have lost over 18 lbs. in 5 weeks; joined my fitness pal about 3 weeks ago after losing over 12 lbs.; weighed 238.7; weighed in this week at 229.2; going on vacation to celebrate 50th wedding anniversary tomorrow, but intend to keep tracking my food; won't be able to weigh and measure everything. gave up one diabetic medicine already and am using a free style libre monitor but it is not recording accurately, unfortunately.

We’ve got guests through the weekend, so we’re doing the local touristy stuff plus Father’s Day on Sunday. I’m still tracking, I feel like some of this is water weight. Will start menu planning again on Monday.

I can see where I’m going wrong. I’m pretty much always in my calorie range but definitely not moving enough. If it ever stops freaking raining here I’ll up my walking game! Meanwhile I need to find indoor activities to get myself moving!

I had joined the wrong team--75 year old diabetic on carefully constructed low carb, no sugar, no white flour diet, no evening snacking; three meals, started at 247.6 about 5 weeks ago; now 229.2; weighing and measuring my foods. That helps a lot; cutting out late night snacking.

Welcome! :) That is awesome progress!

I didn't take my walk and probably will not today.
I napped on my lunch break with the pup LOL
but come Sunday, I will pick up my running. I am gonna see if maybe my son will even run with me
