Sorry for the late submission. Yesterday my sick 18 mo old had me on my toes before the sun came up so I knew it wouldn't be an accurate weigh.

Not much of a loss but no gain either, I'll take after this past weekend we celebrated my birthday and I indulged in a caramel apple my husband made me and some brownie bite ice cream. Now to get back on track!

Sorry everyone. Missed the weigh in yesterday. This weekend was constant food. And then when I weighed myself this morning I was bummed and made a bad choice for breakfast even though I am supposed to be skipping breakfast. Time to get back on track because I feel like crap.
Why are you supposed to be skipping breakfast?
Don't starve yourself, this can be fixed with some good choices this week!1 -

It was confirmed yesterday that I am type 2 diabetic. My A1C was 7.7. Going to start Metformin but my Dr was excited that I am down almost 20lbs and that I have been running every day and watching all that I eat. He’s thinking if I continue with the weight loss and lifestyle change that I will not need medications for ever. 🤞🏼🥳 Let’s do this!!
Big loss for you this week! Good to know that you are already on the right path to controlling your type 2 diabetes. Hopefully you will get off the meds soon!2 -

Not a big drop but I’ll take it. Day 2 of my green smoothie cleanse. It’s a bit rough but I’m sticking to it as best I can. My mini goal is to be out of the 260’s before the end of the month. Have a great day team!
2.2 lbs lost is nothing to sneeze at! Remember this is not a race, it is a life style change. Please tell me more about this green smoothie cleanse you are on.2 -
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? No, only 15, and 6903 steps (goal 10k)
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes, barely... did you know a simple Kung Pao with brown rice bowl from Pei Wei is 1100 calories??? I ate half.
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes
Did I drink at least 60oz of water today? Yes
Did I get 7-9 hours of sleep? No, about 6 hours, had a very hard time falling asleep last night, and early day today.1 -

I am doing intermittent fasting and am only supposed to be eating between 12-8 pm. Then within that I limit myself to 1500 calories. It works really well for me when I can stick to it.5 -
@looneycatblue, I got trapped at lunch. My friend took me out and I asked her what was the least amount of calories on the menu. She said the pecan salad. When it came I knew it was not the lowest choice. I got home and logged it and It's 1,100!!! Yikes!! I only ate half and brought the other half home for hubs. I should have checked out the menu first and pre-logged. (By the way, thanks for doing the mini-check in!!)
@shalvy2007, happy birthday!! That's a great weigh-in for a birthday week!!
@tuddy315, good loss!
@BB_1033, good way to maintain!
@MMMonk, there she goes, back on track! Nice job with the sleep!
@elisepfliger04, fabulous loss! You can definitely get off the meds. My hubby was dx'd with Type 2 and lost 30 pounds the first month. Dr. took him off the meds and he's kept his A1C where it needs to be with diet and exercise. You've got this!!
@Kenyaa3, good loss. I think you're going to hit your goal!!1 -
Started an hour early at work today, only a quick break for lunch (I have some other work to do on my break)... then out to dinner with a friend tonight for Taco Tuesday... so I "have" to get a couple of tacos, these alone will be 440 calories. I will only have about 225 left for chips and a margarita... wish I had gotten in some exercise calories... will have to make this up over the next few days.1

@looneycatblue, enjoy your night out! 🌮🌮0

October Week 4
PW: 137.5 pounds
CW: 137.6 pounds
Up 0.1 pounds since last week.
Not concerned about that, especially since I was 140.0 pounds on Sunday and 139.3 pounds on Monday so I lost 1.7 pounds since yesterday and 2.4 pounds since Sunday by getting back to healthier eating and exercising.
Still need to re-lose 3.4 pounds to get back to my June 5th weight.
Then need to lose 4.2 pounds to achieve my goal weight of 130 pounds.
It's taking FOREVER but I KNOW I will get there in time.
Just need to do a better job at being consistent with healthy eating and exercising.4 -
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? No, less than 5k steps
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes, thought I was going to definitely go over, but after have a large cup of chicken tortilla soup (with chips & salsa), I was too full to eat my tacos, took them home for my husband's lunch today.
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes
Did I drink at least 60oz of water today? Yes
Did I get 7-9 hours of sleep? Yes, about 73 -

Yes, definitely not a race and I’m in it for the long haul. This is not just about weight loss but a healthier lifestyle. I’ve been Pre Diabetic for a couple of years now so I’m doing all that I can to get it right this time. A cousin of mine (Zumba instructor) introduced me to the Green Smoothie Cleanse. Pretty much you have three green smoothies a day (meal replacements). They consist of dark greens, fruit, flaxseeds and you can add protein powder if needed. You can also modify it to your liking. Also snacks are a must (unsalted nuts, fruits, boiled eggs, tuna, unlimited veggies). It’s your choice! Only sugar you can use is Stevia. Water is a must and you can only drink herbal tea. No meats, no carbs, no coffee, no junk, nothing other than pretty much what I listed above.
I’m on day three and I must admit I’m not as tired as I usually am. So that’s a Pro!
It’s not for everyone but after reading up on it and discussing it with my doctor I figured what the heck. I need something to boost this weight loss journey I’m on. So far so good. 😁2 -
