✅1. 7,500 steps or more daily.7,623
✅2. Eat fewer calories than my daily goal with at least 5 servings of fruit/veg daily
✅3. Create (not imagine or read about), but actually create art each day.
✅4. Use UltraVolt on muscles 5 mins daily & arm/back stretches another 5 mins daily.
(+ ankle & PT bands
✅5. Immediately catch self if thinking negative body thought & say something very Positive about my body & something about how grateful I am to be thin & healthy.
Had to do this several times. It helped each time!
Awesome! Positive self talk is so important! Steps posted. 💃💃💃👏💃💃💃4 -

I read a study that should MORE weight loss, BETTER maintenance, and VASTLY better labs when women eating 1,400 calories, ate 700for breakfast, 500 for lunch, 200 for dinner. The other group ate typical American 200 BF, 500L, 700D. (Makes sense as we move more so use/need more calories during the day.)
I had been a coffee AM, big lunch, big late dinner person. So this plan was not something I found remotely interesting... lol
However I was worried about medically induced diabetes & logically it made sense to me to eat carbs earlier in the day.
I began by moving dinner to breakfast. Yum! Then gradually perfected a breakfast I love & eat every morning of about 650 calories. I used to eat 750 when losing. Now, I find distributing my maintenance calories roughly equally (slightly larger at breakfast) works well.
This is really interesting. I think I need to really look at my choices because I typically have oatmeal at 110 cals for breakfast. I find it more filling than, say, a 300 calorie bagel with egg. I do great through the work day but at 5;00 I get home ravenous and snack while I make dinner. Maybe a bigger breakfast/lunch would keep me from messing up.

Tea time! 🍵
Tonight I am enjoying a white tea called “bai hao yin zhen” it is a white tea that is made from hand picked buds. It’s delicate, fresh and has no extra added flavours or ingredients.
I chose it when I had earned a free tea - I like to pick the most expensive ones, so this one was, I believe, 23.99 for 50g. I would never have bought it at that price but the free tea was up to 24.99 so of course I am trying the best lol it’s actually delightful.
Also, I’m finished eating for the day. I finished supper and I won’t eat any more. I did well last night, too. I just need to get a few good days under my belt then I’ll be on a roll. So here we go!4 -

Hi again!
I was folding laundry and I came to a realization. The only times I sat down this weekend were when I was eating. I have spent hours upon hours in the kitchen, washing at least 15 loads of laundry, vacuuming etc. My feet hurt, my hip hurts, my ankle is still swollen and throbbing. But the only times I sat down were for meals or snacks.
I have conditioned myself to believe I am not allowed to sit down or rest other than when I’m eating. I have also associated food with the feelings I get when I finally sit down. The only time my feet get a rest is when I eat. When I eat my legs get a rest. When I eat, I don’t have to wash or fold or cut or anything else.
So ... what to do with this realization. I am going to make a commitment to deliberately set aside times to relax with no food. At the moment I am sitting and doing some sewing. I’m going to drink my tea and try to feel my body relax without any food in my mouth.
I hope I can manage to work with this new perspective.4 -

Great realization! It’s great to take time for yourself and no food as a comfort. For me drinking tea helps me switch off no more food, I floss and drink tea. Not always, I have to remind myself I always feel so much better when I do so. If we condition ourself that our treat is food when we have a break it doesn’t help us. Thank you for bringing this up, I can relate.3 -
