@nbbaby I've done keto and it gets rid of water your body's holding on to in the first couple of weeks.
I realised I was making common mistakes of eating too much fat. You don't need to have massive amounts, it just needs to be higher than the protein. Keeping the carbs so low was just too hard for me but it was great in me finding out what had been making me so bloated and my crashing blood sugars over the past 10 years or more.
I replaced pasta with steamed cabbage, leafy greens are so low carb you can eat loads. The best advice i've seen was keep it simple protein the size of your fist, vegetables and a fat(if the protein is a fatty cut then you already have the fat).
It's great to not see butter and olive oil as an enermy. All good fats, avocado, olive oil and butter. I'm not so keen on coconut oil. But coconut cream cheese pancakes are delicious, they can be made with Almond flour if you're not keen of coconut.
I now make Cloud bread for my sandwiches.
    I'm rarely bloated now days.
I like watching Keto Connect on YouTube, they're really helpful.
I hope you feel better soon and get some help. I can't even imagine how what's happening is making you real feel with everything happening in your life right now. I hope your son isn't in too much pain. ☹️
Sorry if something else has happened and I've missed your post.

    Hi Betty
I also have IBS-C and the specialist said that I have an extreme sensitive stomach also. So I had to eat low FODMAPS. And no dairy and no grains. Which did make me feel a little bit better when I went on keto though it was amazing no more bloating no more pain I never felt better inside than when I was on keto. I also have acid reflux and when I'm on keto that's controlled with my medications. Which it wasn't before that. So I'm starting again today. But it will take 3 days to get into ketosis. Then I can start losing weight again. The first 36 hours is water loss. But after that it's all me. Unfortunately because of my insides, I need to make Keto a way of life not a diet. So the plan is to lose weight then up the carbs just to maintain.
As far as my lungs go. It's been 2 months that I cant breathe. I have a Doctor appt tomorrow again and a lung test on Wednesday. So hopefully the doc with figure this out and help me. Because sometimes it's scary because I can barely get any air in, and the air that does get in hurts. I'm also going to get oxygen too to try to help me breathe.
I'm still working on my son to go back to the doctor to help him with the cancer but everytime I mention it to him he let's me go on the phone or he leaves if he's here. It's very frustrating.
I just love him so much and I dont want to lose him.
    Have a great week 💕

I am heading out of town for the holiday and won't be near a scale on Friday to weigh in. It's probably for the best. LOL But I will be back on Sunday and ready to hit December hard.

Hope everyone has a safe and Happy Thanksgiving! And in my ode to Betty and Wilma...CHARGE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am in food shopping mood now! I just finished dinner. Tuna on Ezekiel and 3 soft boiled eggs. Normally, I add a fat stack of baby spinach but I do not have any now. Food shopping tomorrow.

After not eating tuna for years I started craving it during this challenge......a good 3 months ago. It was probably the briny salty taste.....since, I removed all extra sodium form my normal food intake.

I believe I have consumed about 30+ cans.....already. I eat a can per sandwich. I do add mayo, spicy pickled peppers, garlic powder only. 100 calories....for 1 TBSP of mayo.

So, this sandwich keeps me full for hours!

My skin and hair thrive! Glowing & growing! Plump smooth skin & shiny strong very long hair.

I know some people that lose weight can have beauty problems.......I have in the past........but, just want to write that eating the tuna, Omega 3 eggs (omg, lots of eggs....love! 😘🥚) and baby spinach I have held up nicely. My boobs have remained full and firm, too.

I also like sweet potato and avocado....but, they make my weight go up. Booooooo!

During weight loss we have to experiment with food and find what works. What we want to eat that does not make us gain weight (despite being healthy). Cheap, easy to prepare, satisfying.

Anyone experiencing excess hunger and binge eating...try the Ezekiel bread.

(Oh....the Biotin pills! 5,000 mcg twice daily after a meal) Keep a good nail file on the nightstand. Nails grow too fast like a witch. 💅🏻

@WA_Teacher You're doing a great job not gaining during this time. It seems that everyone tries to feed the masses in November and December.
    @myjourneytobefitme Fantastic loss!

I'm not quite sure how that happened...I've been over a little everyday and tons of salt this week too. I guess that I just had more salt last week.

Did all my grocery shopping today! Ready for Thursday.

Eating super conservative, so I can pig out on Thursday. I am cooking all my faves! My menu changed. Cooking chicken tikka, samosas, biryani and grilled Cornish hens. Traditional TG meal is next week.

Had 3 tacos for dinner. My simple diet tacos. 3 corn tortillas, grilled steak and homemade salsa verde. 👌🏻💋

One more day until cooking feast! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🥳

My husband has been off all week.

Don’t you just hate it when people bring their ‘work junky food’ home with them????

He bought cake and pies! I guess that is what he buys at work for their ‘Coffee Station.’

I don’t have a sweet tooth (I like herby crusty breads), but I do enjoy cinnamon anything.

    I ate a Cinnamon roll today. 🙄

Happy Thanksgiving to All! Just enjoy it! It is only 1 day. We got 364 more to diet.

You might have been looking as Ashley was creating the new threads. She just made them last night.
