@midsummer174627 I say the same thing because I love ice cream and have tried to eat the “ice cream” knock offs and yep when it doesn’t melt umm yes that’s not ice cream plus it doesn’t taste that great to me. So if I will have ice cream it will be an experience of really good ice cream and I eat it mindfully. For example had an occasion which I visited the Godiva store and had a dark chocolate cone (250+/-) I think and it was great plus I didn’t eat all of it and nothing came home leaving the occasion to be tempted to overeat. If I just need a frozen treat then I will toss frozen mixed berries over Greek yogurt which makes a concoction that taste great good macros and gives the satisfaction of having a frozen dessert.

Slow but steady (I was 240 back in July), I'd like to get down to 215 by New Years which should be realistic as long as I stay consistent with the exercise and be mindful with eating/drinking. I'm already starting to plan out some activities and add them to my calendar to get out of the house during my upcoming time off around the holidays as it's too easy to snack when I'm home.2 -

It was a bummer seeing that number on the scale this week, but it is what it is. I have a lot of work to do, but the good news is that I had a complete physical this past week, and my doctor said all my numbers look good. So I’m healthy, which is a blessing, and awesome. We just talked about weight loss, and how he’d like to see me around 135-145. So, time to put the pedal to the metal, I guess.2 -

Day: tonight was my company Christmas party. I made good food choices but realized late in the evening that the rum and cokes I was drinking weren’t diet so over on calories and way over on carbs which means I’ll be holding some water weight 🙄

Happy and suprised that I'm still losing. I'm happy with just maintaining around this weight. My goal is staying under 145. I'm happy I was able to accomplish this. I'm glad I have this group to hold myself accountable.

Tracked every day since Tuesday when I got back from Thanksgiving. I'm grateful the extra 3 ish pounds seems to have been temporary and I am newly resolved to *just track everything*2 -

Thing I did well: I held myself accountable after indulging over thanksgiving.
Thing to improve: I could be more disciplined with healthier food and drink choices lately. I hate this time of year and tend to allow myself to eat poorly as a coping mechanism. Eating poorly only feeds the beast, though.1
