I feel like I am starting the day over Lol! I was able to take a 3 hour nap this afternoon. I feel much better and don't think I messed up sleeping for tonight. I am heading out soon to go to a 40th BD party for the bar manager's wife. I don't really know her but we felt we should accept. We are hoping to show our faces for a bit and not stay too long. My husband is at the bar now watching college basketball. I am avoiding going up there as long as possible. Lol! I may get a few things done around here. I will check back in later. I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!

@Zumba_Luvah No worries-that is basically maintaining. Hope all is going well. We are here for you if you need anything.
@tryingagain5 I totally agree with your trainer. Baby steps, you have been doing so well, they will be habits before you know it!
    @hope002 Another fantastic day!! Wtg!!
@Mrsbell8well Whoo hoo! You are in the 130s! You have worked hard and it shows! :)
@timibotkin Hope everything is going well. You have a lot going on. Let us know if we can help with anything. We are always here for you . xoxo
@kirsten11872 You did hit it on the nose. Sounds like you know what happened, you know what to do and you are making a plan and getting prepped to do it. Jersey just has the best bagels...and pizza... In fact, we are going on a bus trip to see the Rockettes and I was thinking I should get a bagel and then pizza for lunch (New York has pretty good ones too lol!) I was going to take a picture, I am in my "just a Jersey girl in a Pennsylvania world" sweat shirt but forgot the words show backwards. Lol! My parents grew up in Jersey City so I used to visit my relatives there growing up.
@lennoncpa That sounds similar to what I did last night. You did great! Isn't it nice to know you can navigate something like that. You filled up on healthy options and skipped the rest! Nice job!

@lennoncpa sounds like you had a great time at the party and did very well with your eating! It is so easy to keep eating at those kinds of parties, the food is so readily available! You should be proud of yourself!😊

@sleepymom5 I feel like everyone knows someone from Jersey City, lol. I work in downtown JC, it’s all yuppies and people from NY. They move here because it’s cheaper than NY, but so close. It’s not that cheap here either, apartments go for over a million, so crazy!! If you’re ever in the area we should meet up, that would be fun! Enjoy your party and the Christmas Show, I haven’t seen it since my oldest was like 5, he’s 19. NY pizza is the best! We have really good pizza in JC and yes, the bagels are soooo good! People don’t realize how bad their bagels are until they have one from our area, lol😁😉

I've been trying out the different settings on the air fryer. Toast was very good, works the same as a toaster oven. I did a rotisserie chicken breast and it was very good, I started it partially frozen which means I should have cooked it a little longer. Today I did some frozen steak fries and they were good after only 15 minutes. I also cooked a chicken patty for a sandwich. Yes I am having fun with my new "toy". I would recommend an air fryer if you use oil or grease of some kind

@pacsnc6 I have been thinking of getting an air fryer, I’ve heard good things! Glad you’re enjoying it!😊

    Saturday 7/12 check in
Food: logged and under (using 70 cals from fitbit activity)
    Water: approx 28oz
Exercise: no specific exercise. 6,360 steps

Good morning all! Had ok day yesterday - was housework in the morning then headed to town to get partner's and son's hair cut. Grabbed lunch in town from McDonald's :s However, I scrutinised the menu and got something I felt I could kind of justify the calories and would leave me enough for a half we went dinner (McChicken sandwich and a pineapple stick - just over 400 cal). Would have far preferred eating somewhere else, but I was in the minority there! Turned out ok, but I was starving by the time dinnertime came!

That's ok. I can't remember who all the nurses are either. I sometimes go back and read the intros to help me.😉You are right, though I can relate to the overnight shift part. My boss asked if I would come in early tonight too, so I'm starting at 8:30 instead of 10:30. They're doing inventory on Saturday so I think they're trying to get as much off the floor as possible so they don't have to count it.

Congrats on getting in the 130's. That's great!

    Check in for Saturday 12/7
    Food: logged and way over
    Water: 56 oz
    Exercise: none

Had a rough day. I weigh myself daily, although my official weigh in day is Wednesday. My trainer has me do this to see the trends. Between Friday and this morning the scale was up almost 2 pounds. I know better than to let the scale rule my emotions but today it did.🙁 I think because I was tired from working all night and I didn't want to sleep my entire day away so I'm pretty sure the lack of sleep didn't help my frame of mind.

I needed to get a Christmas gift for the toys for tots drive at my gym so I went and did that and ended up in the bakery area of the store and a couple of chocolate items ended up in my cart. I knew I should have put them back but argued with myself that I didn't care and was going to eat them anyway. I do care but did eat them. They were wonderful and I did eat them slowly and enjoyed them. I also went out with some friends and was going to get one if the healthier options but decided since I was already way over that it didn't matter what I got, it does and I know it does. I got something different than planned. It was not necessarily unhealthy just not as healthy as what I planned on getting.

I was able to get to bed on time and slept 8 hours and didn't wake up once, which was nice for a change.

I got on the scale this morning and it was down .2 from yesterday. Go figure, way too much food and zero exercise and it went down.

I know my trainer will gently "yell" at me to remind me to not let the scale be the only measure of my success. Most of the time I don't and haven't for a while. I should have looked at my progress pictures and motivational quotes, probably would have helped a little.

Well, what's done is done. Now it's time to start fresh today.

Sorry for the long post. Hope everyone has a great Sunday!

Great attitude on your week! You gained but you're not letting it rule your emotions! You're right, don't dwell on it and move on.

    Here's to a great week!

    Weekly challenge
On the 1st day of week 2 Trimstone gave to me, a (more than) 20 minute walk to find a Christmas tree!

Instead of choosing a precut tree, me and the family walk round a Christmas tree plantation to choose a tree for our home. Was muddy and slippery and everyone had very different view of what the perfect tree is - so lots of walking to see "all" the trees before letting the eldest child decide!

Nice refreshing walk and now having a warm coffee (already had some water  ) before the chaos of getting the decorations out. Have a great Sunday everyone!

    Saturday 7/12 check in
Food: didn't log and over (from drinking not food)
    Water: over 64 oz
Exercise: Stationary bike 30 min, PT, Strength and Stretching and over 6K steps

Lack of sleep threw off my day yesterday. I did take a nap after lunch but still tired and dragging all day. I didn't get anything done. I also ended up drinking more than I wanted at the party. It was a fun party. I really didn't eat too bad except for cake. Time to get myself back into the swing of things today. Hope everyone has a great day!

Congratulations Team Weight No More! We were in 3rd place for percentage lost last week! Congrats to @amytriesww for coming in 2nd place for percentage lost and 3rd place for pounds lost. Congrats also to @hope002 and @jedaschultz for honorable mentions! For our team-congrats to @amytriesww, @hope002 and @jedaschultz for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place! Awesome week ladies!!

@kirsten11872 I will let you know. It would be awesome to meet up in person. Hope you enjoyed date night with your hubs! You looked beautiful!
@pacsnc6 You can do toast in the air fryer too?! That is awesome! I always thought it was strictly for frying. I am glad you are enjoying it.
@Freeglerock Sometimes you have to go with the flow and order the best option. Sounds like you did a great job navigating McDonalds. Sounds like you have a nice Sunday planned. We still need to get our tree. What a nice tradition you have going to pick one, we get the precut ones. I wish we had done that when the kids were younger. Enjoy your Sunday.
@tryingagain5 I have been having a few of those moments recently. That I consciously know that I am going of plan and don't care. It is good that we at least recognize it and plan what to do next time we have the thoughts. I like your suggestion of looking at your progress pics and the motivational quotes. That is a great plan for next time. I may make a list of the reasons losing weight is important to me to look at. Like you said, what is done is done. Time to move on and start fresh. Hope you have a good day today!

    Saturday check-in:
Food: logged breakfast & lunch, not dinner, but was definitely over. I didn’t go too crazy with food, but I had 3 glssses of wine, which is a lot for me, thankfully I feel fine today. We ordered the garlic shrimp for an app, I ordered the grilled Chilean sea bass for dinner, it was delicious!
    Steps: Over 13k
Water: Not sure, but not enough

So far today, I’m staying on track with my plan to restart & reset. I had a cup of green tea this morning & I just had lunch-Kashi whole grain waffles with some Jif Whips PB & slices of banana, so good!

I have to do laundry & I’m trying to figure out if I’m going to the gym or workout from home, but I’m going to do some form of exercise.

    @sleepymom5 thanks!

    Have a wonderful Sunday!😊

@sleepymom5 I got an "Emeril Lagasse" air fryer that does everything! It is about the size of my toaster oven and yes it toasts, bakes, roasts, air fries and has a rotisserie feature too. You can even bake in it. I may use it more that my oven/stove once I learn how to do it all.

@kirsten11872 Kirsten I love your photo! You look so beautiful and I love what you were wearing. Hope you had fun. You should use that as your profile picture.
@pacsnc6 apparently canaries are no longer easy to find so we bought mom the Emeril Laggassee air fryer for Christmas like yours. She doesn’t have an oven so she is super excited about it. We just have to make sure the electricity can handle the extra load. The basement where they live has a kitchen but no oven and is limited on what can be hooked up. But hopefully we can figure it out.
Day 7 of cleanse done! I did really well this week. Ended cleanse with sweet potato, collard greens, and roasted paprika chickpeas. All so yummy. I saved 1/2 for lunch tomorrow.
Molly and I went to church. Haven’t gone in a long time. People didn’t recognize me. It was a nice service. Went for a walk with Molly and Lula Mae. Did yoga and food prep. 7:45 and we’re already in bed. Early morning tomorrow.
I have made 5 recipes in my new cookbook. Love them all. Today made the chocolate banana bars. All natural ingredients no sugar. Almond date crust. They are in the freezer to have for dinner tomorrow night. A small piece of course. Kind of like a frozen mousse type dessert.
That’s it, have a good week everyone!

    Sunday 12/8 check in
    Food: logged and under
    Water:48 oz
Exercise: 30 stationary bike, PT and Stretching

Not a good day. I wasn't feeling well. I added 46 calories to my log so it was high enough to enter. A very carby day. I didn't do much of anything. I will have to catch up tomorrow. I feel like I wasted a day. I did get some online shopping done so that is good at least. I will catch up with everyone tomorrow. xoxo

@DanielleInProgresss What an awesome start! Nice loss!!
@kirsten11872 Sounds like you are doing well. You always have a ton of steps even if you don't work out! Hope your day today was good too.
@pacsnc6 I just looked that up. It wasn't at all what I expected. That is really cool!
@amytriesww You did drop a lot last week and so much goes into your weight. Keep kicking butt like you have been and the scale will cooperate. Good luck this week. I hope you have time to relax once finals are done. With all you have going on, it is amazing how well you are doing. Hugs!
@CassieGetsFit2013 Awesome loss! Keep it going! We will leave you on the cheer squad for this month and move you in January. I am glad WW is working for you!
@tryingagain5 Those pre made salads are awesome if you are looking for something quick and easy. Glad you got to get a little extra zzzz. I am sure you needed it. Have a good night!
@Mrsbell8well Sounds like a successful and yummy cleanse! It also sounds like you had a nice Sunday-church a walk and baking! Those chocolate bars sound really good. Have a great week!

    Hello & Happy Monday!

Yesterday did not go as well as I planned, but better than I have been doing. My food was ok, I ate some chocolate that I should have passed on, but the rest of the day was not too bad. I did not workout. I was trying to get my laundry done and I was just too tired from my busy Thursday, Friday & Saturday. I did make the butternut squash soup, I brought it for lunch, it tasted good. The scale was down over a pound this morning which I was happy about.

I packed my food for the day. I am going back to 16:8 IF. I waited until 12:00 to eat, but I do not remember when I finished eating last night, but I figure I had to have at least 14 hours of fasting if not more.

My plan is to workout when I get home. It is a rainy day here which makes me want to go home and relax on the couch, but I am going to do my dvd and then relax. Go home, change, workout & relax!

@Mrsbell8well thanks! Maybe I will change my profile pic!

@tryingagain5 I do not how you mange on your crazy sleep schedule! I do not think I could handle it, I need my sleep!

@sleepymom5 hope you are feeling better! Thank God for all my steps!

@CassieGetsFit2013 good luck with WW! I love it! If you follow it, it definitely works!

    @hope002 great skiing pic!

I am going to take this day by day! Today is day 1 for me to restart! I will check in later after I workout. I feel like this will keep me accountable and more motivated to do it!

Have a wonderful day & week!

It's a funny thing, now that I know I am off my cleanse I feel hungrier than usual. I am trying to keep my appetite in balance with my perceived nutrition needs. I will let you all know how that works out. I have a gluten free pasta dinner planned tonight with broccoli rabe and sundried tomato pasta.
Wish it was still the weekend. I am dragging a bit and it's raining. I would love to be snuggled in my warm bed taking a nap.
