Oh lordy. My daughter woke up at 1:30am puking. Grandpa offered to keep her today so I could work, but then my son fell off his skateboard before school, I told him he was fine and lets go to school. An hour later he is in my office, elbow is bruise and significantly swollen. so took him into the walk in. Luckily they didnt see anything, but judging by the swelling, it may still be fractured, so if its bothering him in a week we have to go back. It was funny though because they kept asking his pain level, Im like he is autistic and has a super high pain tolerance so good luck, lol

Little lady is fine and back at school today. Mr.'s Elbow is still swollen and really bruised, but hes using it almost normally, but last night his eyes started swelling out of no where so at 730 I had to run to work to grab my benadryl for him, ugh. They are still swollen today, but not as bad. No clue what triggered that.

    Hi TrimStones!

I feel like a Peeping Tom! I'm not reading anything, just wanted to thank you all for the CandyCane challenge! Because of it I'm back to doing my physical therapy stretches and exercise and while I'm on the floor I looked up core workouts and added them in. Still doing jumping Jack's too! For some reason I'm fine with other forms of working out but getting started on the floor is a drag and the challenge made me do that, now i don't want to skip a day.

So glad to hear this, @Katmary71 !!! You just made my day!! I tried to keep it simple to help people who've been struggling as I have. Holiday season is HARD!!!

I'm trying to make better choices but with my current schedule it's SO hard to do and Monday is our departmental potluck, so that day is a wash...but immediately on 12/26, it's back to brass tacks for me!!!

So, which team are you on?? Please add me to your friends list and if you're a walker, send me some challenges on Fitbit (jakrall@cox.net).

    Happy Holidays!
    Jessica

The key to being happy, is to not let things get to you, find a silver lining, or laugh it off. I am the family joke, My dad says to never stand near me in a lightning storm, that I define the phrase "when it rains, it poors." so, for example, here was my life in less than 48 hours-
    12/18
    0130-daughterwakes up throwing up everywhere
0700-son falls off of skate board
0830-son comes to office with severely swollen elbow from said fall (xrays show no break)
1900-sons eyes swell closed for no apparrent reason, so trip to work for benadryl
    12/19
1000-son comes to office, glasses came apart (hes had them 3 weeks
    1600-go get glasses fixed
1630-dad calls freaking out, dogs jumped the fence, hes panicing for no reason blablabla
1830-dog who just had surgery ripped open incision
2000-5 staples and $300 later, Dog is ok and back in the cone of shame, ugh.

Today I am at work, my partner is out for like to 20th time this school year, and im smiling and handing out Christmas gifts to kids, and most importantly, I am NOT stress eating, I did have a doughnut because its dough day :)

@angmarie28 We're missing a day...take a look at the spreadsheet since you missed my note above...thanks! *hugs* You've had a rough week gal! Might want to look for the puffy ring the dog can wear instead of the cone...I've heard they're more comfortable in those and it still keeps them from chewing or scratching at stitches...

@DreaRN15 I AM JEALOUS!!!! Have a wonderful trip, eat what you want, use the gym and walk, walk, walk the ship as much as possible. I lose weight every time I go on a cruise...I'm not a drinker so all the unsweet tea I want! Take lots of pics...wanna see them when you get back ladybug!! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!

@kmfeig87 Queen of Figgy Cookies! LOL! You astound me...you don't let anything get you down! LOVE YOUR STICKTOITIVENESS!!! AMAZING!!

    @kateberard @bsgraham10 @vikster11111 @DreaRN15 @sarawilliams5889 Great job this week ya'll!! WOW!!!
