Need to let it out a little....

Spent all day food shopping and wrapping. So tired and starting to feel overwhelmed.
I just realized I haven't had anything to eat except a few grapes and haven't had a drop of anything to drink. Going out tonight and I hope I don't get out of control. Scary thing is that I am not really hungry just thirsty. I will try to drink as much as I can before we leave so I hope that I will have a full belly and stay in control.

I love love Christmas, just don't want it to get the best of me.
    Thanks for listening.
    ..
@matthewsfive. Getting overwhelmed this time of year is common and one of the dangers of the season (doubly so for those on the autism spectrum - two in our household).

The trick is to plan ahead (like what you proposed of not going out to a social occasion hungry and/or thirsty).

The other trick is to accept that mistakes will be made:
    - We are all human.
    - Human's make mistakes from time to time.
    - As such, we are EXPECTED to make mistakes.

With ANY mistake you make, learn the lesson from it and FORGIVE your self for it. LET IT GO. It is now in the past.

One of my favourite quotes is from the original animated Lion King.

Sorry for being inactive here. I just have too much going on. Just basically staying active and trying not to eat too much of the wrong things.

Exercised?: Yes (5 km in 37 mins - hills)
    Calories?: Yes
    Tracked?: Yes

Faster walk today. Must be the cooler weather.

Spent a large chunk of today hanging block out curtains in my daughters room. Finally got all the pieces required do hang them.

Heading over to my parents for Christmas eve evening so we can Christmas with them and my sister and nephew.

May be a day early or late posting weigh-in this week as my nominated day is Wednesday. Even though keeping to plan, weight has been up the last couple of days (although the 7 day average is still trending down).

Shocked seeing as how I'm extremely bloated and family gatherings are back to back so I haven't been too diligent with nutrition and exercise lol.

Good pace. Stopped halfway to give directions to people unfamiliar with the forest.

Posting early as going to parents for Christmas eve and will be home late Christmas day. Will post a revision if I fail to track or go over budget, but that is very unlikely.

Hope all have a great festive season.

Wednesday is my weigh in day but I am giving myself a freebie/free pass for this Wednesday's weigh in so I won't be weighing myself on Christmas Day. I have been consistent with my weigh ins for a very long time but I am going to allow myself a break this week and be okay with it. Likely my weight is up with all the extra food and treats but I have still been trying my best. Merry Christmas.

Exercised?: Yes (8 km in 65 mins - flat)
    Calories?: Yes
    Tracked?: Yes

Merry Christmas all. Hope all had a great day.

I had Christmas with family. Got out to walk between breakfast and lunch.

Usually this would be be a pass day, but tracking today was not hard and I was still under budget even without the walk. (Did a second 3km walk with daughter, sister and nephew waling the dog after lunch).

I will weigh in in the morning as was not at home on my regular scales to record a weight today. I could have used my parents scales, but they would have a different calibration which would skew the result.

    December Week 4
    PW: 143.1 (64.9 kg)
    CW: 142.9 (64.8 kg)

Only a small decrease this week. No my lowest for the week (141.8 {64.3}). This is also after Christmas with family (which gives plenty of temptation to eat the wrong things, or over-eat).

I would need to lose more than 2 lbs next week to make 5% for the month, but anything over 2% is pretty good (and I am already ahead of that goal for the month).

I still expect it to take a couple of months to get where I want to be weight wise even though it is about 5 lbs away.

I will try push myself harder for the last week, but no promises on a good result (as weight does fluctuate based on water retention).
