Well, not happy about this at all....I don't know if I'm holding on to stuff after my procedure last week or what's going on; I've been in my calorie count and watching what I've been eating....so frustrating 🤬🤬🤬

I don't know why, maybe it is my juvenile sense of humor, but I love our team name. It makes me smile every time I read it.9

I've been doing my best to stay under but not as "controlled" as I know I can do - I've had and still have an incredibly nasty cold with a dreadful cough that is taking it's time to go away. I'm hoping to get back on track but wow, being ill can take a lot out of ya, that's for dang sure! It's a good thing I can't spread this cold through my typing. LOL!2 -
Yay! I'm in C-bus.1 -

And that is why we named it what we did

Hi everyone! New to this group this month, but not new to MFP. I just hit my 2 year "anniversary" on MFP this past weekend.
I was at maintenance this summer after losing 40 pounds.... I ended up raising my goal weight a bit because my body was obviously very happy at that weight. But between summer vacation, the holidays, and an all-inclusive vacation after Christmas, I found I needed to lose 11 pounds to get back to maintenance weight. I've lost 5 of those, now. But I'd like to lose those other 6, plus maybe some more to get to my original lower goal, if at all possible. Those last 10 pounds or so are sooooo challenging, and I thought this group would be the perfect motivation to get me there.
I'm a mom of a college sophomore (U of MD) and a high school sophomore. I'm 45 years old, short at 5 feet tall, a Montessori teacher, and a wife.
I love this site, I love my MFP friends, and I love the new lifestyle, and life, that both have enabled me to have!!
Let me know what I have to do, besides report my weight each week. Thanks!

Current weight 134.2
I was in Maui the past week and hope to be back at 130 by the end of February. I just got out of a long term relationship in December and am finding it hard to get back on track.
Does anyone have any tips on getting back in the swing of weighing every day? I lost 42.6 lbs last month but already up 4.2 since Christmas and don’t want to keep going in the wrong direction. I don’t have any more vacations or work trips planned til end of March so that part is stable.
I promise to be a better team player in feb. since plan on cooking at home and going to the gym again.4 -

I was really hoping to be at 180 by the end of January, but it's close and it is a net loss for the month. Between traveling last week and a cold this week, I have not been as focused on good eating choices. But a loss is a loss.4 -

Weighing everyday is a bit stressful but effective way to keep a check for momentary temptation.

Miss Laurie,
This is where the rubber meets the road! Hang in there and keep doing all the right things. How's your water and fiber intake? Look at your macros as well. Perhaps some tweaking is necessary. All of your good habits will catch up with you. I'm hoping for a "whoosh" for you his week!
By the way, welcome @guitargirl55, @nwoutdoorgrl, @TwinMomma2019 and @suzyjmcd2! Let's rock next month2 -
Telling Thursday....well, I like my hair. It's salt and peppery look is so cool. I inherited early greying, but I've fully embraced it now. I used to color it, but I was called my husband's daughter (not wife), LOL! His hair is turning white now, which is quite handsome.6 -
Telling Thursday ... I love my hair.5 -
Telling Thursday; something I like about myself is I look good in the dark. Picture to follow Having lost a few pounds I looked in the mirror and said to my SO "Not having such a podgy face brought out my wrinkles and made me look way older than I am, tell me something good about my body to make me feel better", she said "well your eyesight is still good".5

Telling Thursday: will not show a picture, I decided long ago that I will stay anonymous on MFP, so no identifiable pictures and no name. For some twisted reason, this helps me stay brutally honest and accountable here. I can still share that I like my lips. They are a good shape and nice color.
Another share in honor of this tell something about yourself thing: I’m freakin’ exhausted. Oddly, my boss kinda gave me permission to feel it and explore the causes by sending a simple message on Wednesday after a company bowling night. Free translation: ”I got concerned about you after the bowling. You seemed really down. If it’s about tiredness, when in the near future do you have a chance to take a paid extra day off to stay home and rest?” We talked about it then and agreed that I’ll try to finish end-of-month stuff early next week so I can take next Thursday or Friday off, and I didn’t even realize until the next morning that he actually asked when I will take a paid day to rest instead of if I would like to, so coming from the CEO that’s a pretty clear order to take it easy and rest. Of course, an extra day off won’t resolve the fact that i’m chronically overworked and can’t get things done because my role also includes being the good-mood person staff can contact about anything, so I get interrupted All. The. Time about really random stuff. But yeah, if my boss, who isn’t the most observant dude when it comes to feelings and staff issues, can see I’m exhausted without me even realizing it or saying anything about it, the issue is real. That simple message he sent pretty much stopped the apparent denying of my own exhaustion cold, and forced me to take note and listen to myself on how I’m actually feeling at work. So, today after I had a little cry-at-my-desk meltdown after a couple of rationally minor setbacks, I started writing down all the things I feel somehow responsible for and actually need some attention, action or supervision, and the list is 5,5 pages long. In 11pt font size. I think I have something to talk about with my boss on Monday.5 -
