Hi all,
Really inspiring how much you've lost overall last month - and congrats to the winners!
Today has been busy. Had to do some surveying stuff at work which has involved trekking round about 8 different sites. I don't drive so a mix of buses and walking has made it a bit of a slog. At least it's been dry and even a bit of sunshine - just very cold. Ended up getting a hot chocolate to warm up half way through - which is def not diet plan approved! Hopefully I've walked it off. Feeling shattered now I'm home so gonna be a toughie to get to my exercise class tonight I think.
In better news, weigh in day today and the scales are actually being nice to me

My first day back at work was going great till mom called. The dialysis team was worried she was having a heart attack. We’re in the ER now.11

Yippee, I moved in the right direction but I think it was all the colonoscopy prep. And the scale said it was muscle not fat. But that motivated me!
@Mrsbell8well I am so sorry that you just can't seem to get a break! Hope all turns out well with your Mother.5 -
For those of you that don't look at the Fat to Fit page (I am guilty of that), I wanted to post my selfie here for all of you....
So I picked this selfie because I am normally a positive person but I feel sometimes I complain to much on the board. I truly love the unconditional support in the "Weight No More" Group. And I think the scale says it all!7 -
Monday 3/2 check in
Food: logged and on track
Water: 64 oz
Exercise: 30 minute session with my trainer

Moms still in ER. EKG is good. Running blood tests. Hopefully released soon. My daughter stayed with mom so I could go back to work for a few hours. After work Molly releaved Robin so I could come home after work and make dinner. Long day. Water done. 500 more steps. Food was good but I did just eat a large bowl of vegan posole. I’m pretty tired. Thanks at @JillyBT and I love your selfie! And really nice weight loss!4

Motivation Monday
Here I am out of control and taking control:
2 -
My introduction: I’m Angelina. I hit my goal in July, 1 year exactly from when I started here. 60 pounds! I look in the mirror now and say “damn, you are so cute and so skinny!” Yes I am now very vain lol. But I still thought I was cute at 202 pounds. But healthy...no. It has always been about being the healthiest I can be. I went from a size 3X to a size 6-8 size small, 142 pounds. I’m 5’4”. I still marvel everyday at my pretty little Barbie doll clothes. Or maybe little fairy clothes haha.
2019 for the most part is the healthiest I have ever been. Ran my first 10K, rode 33 miles on the Virginia Creeper for my 63 birthday, went Vegan over a year ago and stopped all headache medication for over a year. In October I did end up with a kidney stone. Ouch. December cold/flu. End of January pneumonia, and a week later in the ER for a pacemaker. Several of the doctors commented that they could tell I was an “athlete”. Really??? Me??? The best thing about being in such great shape is that it saved my life. They said my heart block could have been fatal.
So...this wonderfully supportive team along with my very supportive wife, is the reason that I’m still here staying active as motivator on this team. Thank you everyone!!!9 -
On a more serious note. As returning group members know, we are experiencing a lot of loss in our family. My mom is in her last months and during her decline, she has lost two younger brothers and a sister-in-law just in the past few months. One brother in the last 10 days. However, her own mother, my beloved grandmother, was outliving them all. Until yesterday evening.
My grandma is now reunited with my grandpa after almost 43 years as a widow. She'd often touch his face through the glass in the picture frame with that look of love at first sight. She bought a condominium with a view of the cemetery he rested in and lived there for about 35 years.
My sister Tracy was with her and said, "Grandpa's waiting for you. I bet he has a nice cold bottle of 50 and he's going to want to dance." And that was when she took her last breath.
God, I loved her. She was 97.
*For those of you not in Canada, "50" refers to a beer, well really an ale, technically called Labbatt 50. If you knew what a lady my grandmother was, it would make you laugh that once in a while, she enjoyed a 50.

@1theresamcvean my goodness, theresa, your family really has been through so much lately. I’m so sorry you have another loss. But 97 is what my late mother in law would have said was a “beautiful age”. God bless all of you.
What a beautiful photo. I’m attaching one of my in-laws; we all loved it so much we had it put on their shared grave. People were so much more glamorous then!4 -
@Mrsbell8well I’m relieved to hear your mom is better. The hits just keep on coming for the sandwich h generation, huh? It sounds like you have a great team around you, that’s awesome. When we had my in laws with us, it was just us doing everything because my husband is essentially an only child (he had a brother who died at 19). The one advantage was that there was nobody to tell us we were doing it wrong!3

Monday check in
Food logged and good.
About 50oz water
10,491 steps
@1theresamcvean I'm so sorry you're losing family members like that. The picture is beautiful, and I'm glad you got so many great years with your grandma.2 -
@sleepymom5
No, I don't really think of myself on a "diet". Trying to have it be a lifestyle. Since I'm doing a calorie range I can eat whatever I want within the range, although there are times I've gone way outside that range and gained weight back. I do struggle at times, (with this past weekend being one of those times) then wonder if all the hard work is worth it. Since I don't have a husband or kids, I don't have anyone to be healthy for, except myself and at times think it's too much trouble to bother. I know that's silly because I should want to be healthy for me but that gets in my head sometimes. I think when I'm tired those thoughts creep up more. And since I've been extra tired lately that hasn't helped.
I signed up for more sessions with my trainer today so I will be continuing to work on it no matter what my head tells me. He does help a lot, continues to make the workouts harder and pushes me way past what I think I'm capable of doing.
Thanks for saying I'm an inspiration.😊 I don't really see myself that way.
The game night was fun. It sounds like we'll do it again sometime4 -
@timibotkin
Congrats on the milestone loss!1 -
I am so tired so I will check in tomorrow
@kirsten11872 You put in the work and now you are seeing results! Great job turning things around. You are starting March out strong!
@jedaschultz Nice loss! You and I have been hanging around the mid 190s too long! Let's make March the month we get to at least the lower 190s
@ljdanny I hope all went well with the epidural shot today and more importantly, I hope it works!
@rundgrenrocks Thanks for the intro. What a beautiful picture of your in laws. I agree, they were more glamorous back then.
@podperson01 Nice loss!! You are starting out March strong! What an exhausting day you had! I am sure it is freezing where you live too. Hope you were able to get a workout in and relax. Maybe on days like today you can do a walking video or something around your house.
@Mrsbell8well. Oh no! I hope your Mom is ok
@JillyBT What a great way to start March with a loss! Love your bitmoji! Don't ever feel bad about "complaining" on the board. There is so much that goes into weight loss and it all isn't just diet and exercise. Stress and life in general gets in the way sometimes and it is better to talk about it. Sometimes even better to talk to people removed from your situation.
@tryingagain5 Great day yesterday! I think the fact that you are thinking of this as a life style instead of a diet is exactly why I think you are going to do well maintaining. Hope you had a good night.
@1theresamcvean I am sorry to hear about your grandmother. She sounded like a great lady who lived a wonderful life. What a beautiful picture. Hugs! You must be emotionally and physically exhausted with everything you have been going through lately.
@GingerPwr Looks like another great day!

@1theresamcvean I am so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine dealing with all that grief! Please know many are sending you lots of love and support even if we are across the world!2
-
@1theresamcvean My heart goes out to you at this time. Your grandma must have got such comfort knowing there were loved ones waiting for her on the other side- especially her one true love. And such a beautiful photo. Take care xxx1

Monday check in
I was on plan yesterday, did 30 minutes on the bike and 15 minutes HIIT, and drank all of my water. I got less sleep than usual as I was up late dealing with these audit requests that I am getting from my professional body. I fulfilled all requests, which is great, but there will likely be follow up. I slept 2 hours less than I normally do, and I feel it this morning. I am not a nap person, but am really going to try to have a short one after lunch today.
@brown6267, @freeglerock and @Gingerpwr - You are knocking it out of the park with those steps! We are going to have quite the challenge this month!!
@timibotkin - That’s great that you are in for the challenge. I know that you post all of you steps in one post, so we will wait for that at the end of the week.
@sleepymom5 - I hear you about being so tired, omg.
@tryingagain5 - You are an inspiration! Having yourself as a reason to be healthy is a really good one, and I often list that on my plan. Plus you have to keep on being inspiring for all of us!!
@rundgrenrocks - People were really more glamorous back then! I love the photo of your in-laws and you are wonderful daughter-in-law for having taken care of them.
@1theresamcvean - I am so sorry for your loss and all of the grief and difficulties that you are experiencing. That is a lovely photo, and as a fellow Canadian, I totally got the 50 reference! My nonna also enjoyed a 50 while watching the horse races on tv on Saturday afternoons. None of us knew and it was her secret thing. She was a traditional, strict Catholic Italian nonna, so the image of her drinking beer and watching horses is hilarious! Love your Bitmoji!
@Mrsbell8well - I am sorry about your mom and hope that she is doing ok. Take care of yourself too, especially now that you are back to work!
@JillyBT - Fantastic loss and love your bitmoji! Thanks for the love!
@podperson1 - Outstanding loss and welcome to the team!!
@ljdanny - Hope that the shots went ok and they work. Fantastic that you are in the step challenge!
@jedaschultz - Great loss and you are doing great!
@kirsten11872 - Amazing that you are down 5 lbs and doing so well! Spring is coming and it is a great time for a reset!2 -
Monday 3/2 check in
Food: logged and under (forgot to complete diary for food and exercise)
Water: 80 oz
Exercise: 30 minute walk, PT, stretching and strength.
Good morning my friends! Another good day yesterday! I feel like I am back in the groove finally after 2 months. I was proud of myself. I had two temptations yesterday that I resisted.
My daughter in law gave me candy for driving me back and forth to the airport. She is so sweet so I couldn't tell her to keep them. I know my son in law a lot better as he and Nicole were dating since they were teenagers. I would have told him to thanks but to keep them for himself. I don't know her quite as well. Danny was out of the house by the time they started dating. So I took the candy but didn't eat it. Another thing was Jim got a box of cookies from clients that he brought home. I told him to bring them to the bar for the employees. I am going to put the cookie and candy on my plan at some point. If they fit in. I have to see if they put me over in calories or if I am not hungry for them. I want to be able to have treats but have control over them.
Today is pretty free so I am plan to get a lot done. It is nice out now but it is supposed to rain this afternoon. Hope everyone has an amazing day!
@brown6267 Nice job with the steps! Hope all is going well!
@Cafelelia I bet you're tired! I can't nap either because I want to sleep for hours Lol! Shannon actually can take a 15 min nap and feel refreshed. I wish I could do that Lol!

My Transformation Tuesday is my family (Those are my children-Nicole 28, Shannon 24, Danny (27) William (25) and Mary Kate (20) ) I want to live a long and healthy life so I can be a part and enjoy their lives. My husband also but I don't have pics of just him and the kids.
I am still going to do my Monday selfie. I forgot yesterday!6 -
Hello all! It is a warm day, might rain later, just loving it is not freezing outside!
3 successful days under my belt! I am feeling so good! The scale was down another pound this morning! I got home from work last night, did my workout, ate a light dinner & started my fast. I just feel so much better, not bloated or feeling overly full. I can even feel a little difference in my clothes, not digging in me. I keep telling myself how good I will feel at the end of the month if I keep following my plan. I keep thinking about the clothes that I will be able to fit back into. If I stay on track, I will be right where I want to be by summer.
Really trying to drink lots of water, I always drink a good amount, but I think I can increase.
Got in 23,324 steps! Walked with my friend at lunch, did laundry, plus my workout! Should be another high stepping day today, going to walk again at lunch, then the elliptical tonight!
@Mrsbell8well sorry to hear about your mom! Sounds like she is doing better!
@1theresamcvean so sorry for the loss of your grandmother! She sounds like a wonderful woman, very devoted to your grandfather! Love their picture! Also, sorry for all the loss you are experiencing! Keeping you in my prayers!
@sleepymom5 thanks, I am trying to make March an awesome month! We are going to have a great month! Love the picture of your kids, beautiful family! Also, can I participate in the step challenge, I usually get about 13-15k per day.3 -
@sleepymom5 For February I was doing the same as I had been doing. I eat between 1000 and 1200 calories a day and I get at least 10,000 steps a day. so I'm not sure why I didnt have much of a loss that month. But hopefully for March I will start to see the scale moving again. I'd like to lose at least 1 pound a week2

We are looking for a team motivator! There is no real job description and generally, motivators post encouragement or advice from time to time. You can make the job your own and a furry mascot’s costume is not required (although that would be cool!). If you are interested just post here to let us know.1 -
Happy birthday to me 😊😊😊

Tuesday 3/2
Food: logged and on track
Water: 64 oz
Exercise: 15 minutes speed intervals on the treadmill, 30 minute session with my trainer
I was asked if I wanted to stay for OT today at 6:28. We get out at 6:30. They forgot to come around and ask. I said no. Even if I had been asked earlier I was going to say no for today. I'm guessing nobody stayed, by 6:28 everyone is ready to go home.
Had a good session with my trainer. He kept telling me I was doing great. He is really helpful for me. A couple of his other clients told me I was doing great too. It's nice to get that feedback from the others who see me at the gym.
Leaving soon to go to my book club and then to work after that.3 -
I don't have a picture but the person who motivates/inspires me to do better is my trainer at my gym.
I've been working with Alex for a little over 2 years and he's always supportive, telling me I can do things. He's had me do many things I didn't think I could do. Some of those things are still difficult for me but I'm able to do them. He's always telling me I'm doing great, whether I think so or not2
