@CanadianGiraffe I mean, I say same clothes but those were size 20 pants and these are 14. Same shirt though. But my stomach still looks so huge.
And man, I really have lost basically all of my butt lol.
It always amazes me how we lose so differently - I can lose my bust, belly, arms - but the butt never wants to leave! The apple - pear thing is real. You have lost a LOT everywhere - I even see it in the arms and fingers - isn't that ring moved from the ring finger to the middle finger? - and you look great. Your belly will get with the program eventually! Like my butt3 -
lovethyneighbor wrote: »Hey team! I'm jumping in a little late on this month, but I am back on the bandwagon.
After turning 38 this week, I reflected on giving myself until my birthday to lose 20 lbs. Seemed easy enough 5 months ago.
I'm taking it one tiny goal at a time and hope to meet my overall weight goal by 40.
Starting/last week's weight: 220 lbs (oh yeah, I gained a couple since I was on here last. )
I would appreciate any support!

Welcome back!!! It is good to see you, and I hope we can help you hit those goals. Ask if there is something particular that really helps you, ok? And as for everyone, getting here every day and posting about those little daily habits that add up to results is what works best. Looking forward to seeing more of you!2 -

Nice catch! My wedding ring is now so huge that even the little plastic adjuster I bought doesn't hold it on, so I moved it to my middle finger. When I hit goal weight, I'll get all my rings resized.5 -

Thursday is over and I’m just now getting here. I sure need to figure this new schedule. @Terytha yes, yes, yes to everything everyone said. You look amazing and I see it all over.
@conleywoods You are rocking the exercise my dear. Good for you.
@lovethyneighbor Welcome back! Good to see you. We are here to support you.
@evangsimmons170 I will definitely be reading the article.
Can’t believe it’s already Friday. I’ll check in tomorrow.2 -
We got out this afternoon and played a round of golf - the best score so far this year. It was a great day weather-wise but tomorrow looks like a mixed bag with rain starting overnight. I've been waiting for a clear night so I can get up at dawn and see the new comet that is visible but it won't be tonight...2

It was a tough week but I am so glad I stuck through.6 -
Sorry for not being very social this week, I am pretty miserable right now, sinus/tension headaches galore here, they went from only in the morning to constant, all day.. I am getting a CT scan later today and then an allergy test on monday.. I hate to say this but I think I may have developed an allergy to either my cats or dogs as I was good when we were away... anyway something has to give, nothing is getting rid of them.. So I haven't exercised this week, but my eating is finally back on track, I don't think I will be back to last weeks weigh in by tomorrow, but at this point I honestly don't care, I just want my head to stop hurting...10

Happy Friday!
Even though I don't usually post my own weigh-ins, every once in a while it feels good to celebrate being in maintenance for so long. I hit my first goal almost 8 years ago, and revised down to where I am now within the last year or so. It feels great, but still takes attention and commitment, just like losing.

LTD: 40 pounds and holding
There will be a new permanent chat set up by the end of the weekend for those of us who are at goal and working a maintenance routine. I hope it will serve 3 purposes:- provide a place for those who are learning maintenance to share questions and answers
- inspire F2F members who are dreaming of maintenance or are almost there - it will be an up close and realistic look at where everyone hopes to be one day
- keep the members who make it to goal in the F2F community! It is not just while actively losing weight that we need support. Maintaining the loss is hard, as all the stats will tell you. We don't want anyone to be included in those depressing numbers! We're here for the full journey and hope that those losses stay lost. Forever.
All this is to say that this chat thread will not be only for those who have made it to their goal weight. It will be a combination of success stories (inspiration!), sharing of tools and solutions to problems (information!), and support for everyone who does not want to lose and re-gain any more.7 -
As discussed, one early weigh in!

Yep. And that 178 marks a really weird milestone for me: it's what I weighed when I entered Weight Watchers in 2005.
I'm not proud that I was an overweight teen, I just think its really interesting to compare the me now to the me then. I definitely don't carry the weight as nicely and I have a lot more stretch marks. But all the same, I'm grateful to have come this far.
And this time, its sustainable. Unlike WW, which I seriously learned nothing from.8 -

I enjoy playing golf. My dad had me on the course at the age of 3, and I played for the high school team. Now with 2 kids (11 & 7) and a husband who doesn't play, I only play once a year. My parents take my kids out every few weeks and play a round.2 -

This is not shocking or upsetting in the least. I had a very hungry week last week and I took a cue from my body and upped my calories for a week. I usually eat between 1200-1350 and this past week I had 1800-2000 calories a day. Nothing crazy, just bigger portions and more nuts and seeds than usual. I also got in some more intense exercise through my mountain biking and hiking. I have basically been on restricted calories for 17 months and my body wanted a break. I am back to my normal calories this week. I will post pictures from my adventures later today!7 -
Hi everyone! Hope your day is going well. My exercise feels way down since last week. I know my steps are. I am finding my new routine difficult to figure out. I’m kind of exhausted by the end of the day and really have no time to myself except to veg out. I need to figure this out because it doesn’t seem to be changing anytime soon. I really enjoyed having so much time to myself the last few months.
Well, that over. Off I go someone is up from her nap8 -

@Terytha you look so different. You have done a really good job and your face and arms have changed a ton. The tummy will get there ! We all have one spot or another that just takes its sweet time.
@micki48 phew! Toddlers are busy creatures for sure. I would suggest getting your workout in while Juliette is awake. You know you don't need a really long time to do your balanced life videos, even if you stop in the middle and come back to it. Set up some simple games that you can use to distract Juliette while exercising but keep her near you for supervision. If she can do puzzles, hide the pieces around the room so she has to search for the pieces while you workout. You can easily give her clues without having to physically assist her. Another fun game is to use dollar store loafs(the puffy kind) or rolled up wash cloths with hair bands around them. Toss them to different areas of the room, she returns them to you, once she finds all of them, toss them again. Have her close her eyes when you throw them, if she needs more of a challenge. Use nap time to rest or do other things that make you happy.
Here are some pictures from my hike yesterday. We did a 6 mile hike as a family and took in some great views at the summit! The bear grass was blooming and they are these tall white puffy scepter things all over the mountain. I like to do a little rock hounding here and there. I came up with a great find. It's a quartz crystal formation and it's about the size of a good sized potato! I love it, so beautiful.
Today I did my ballet workout and my mother in law wants to walk later. Tomorrow were heading to the lake and bringing the kayaks.5 -
