My mother in law came over to visit and we served lunch. Drove in the morning to go pick up my son from my mom. He went camping with them for a couple of days. Got a 60 minute walk in, in the evening. Was a little muggy out, I think the weather is suppose to be cooler today.
The hot weather is coming to an end here. Three days with humidity in the 14 day long range forecast. Today would be an awesome walking day but it is raining.September 6:
Friday after I posted about redoing my bathroom I ended up not sleeping. According to my FitBit, I got 47 minutes of sleep and then I got up and redid my kitchen, scrubbed all the walls, and redid my kids' room. *Facepalm*. I have a lot of stress going on with the family and I kinda fell apart emotionally. I am still picking up the pieces but I am getting there. Luckily for me, I strive for perfection when I am trying to get my life together so it is really pushing me to get myself back on track. (It is a joke, gotta have humor too!)
Anywho, I worked yesterday and had a pretty decent day and got some decent sleep in. So today I am washing bed linens and taking the kids to the splash pad once the rain passes. I have two modes; (makes me question a bipolar diagnosis ) do everything or do nothing. The do-everything portion is more beneficial so I will do that. lol
This morning I got my 30 minutes of cardio in with an impromptu dance party with my littles and have the laundry going, baked some muffins, met with their teacher to pick up this week's schoolwork, and I plan to get a run in after the kids are worn out from the splash pad.
I did not get on a scale this week because I didn't want to be too disappointed, and I have friends messaging me to see how my weight loss is going so I feel like I am disappointing everyone else too. This is it guys, this is the week I get my stuff together. I can't feel like this anymore. Even my trainer messaged me asking me where the heck I have been! So I have my training sessions scheduled and going to go to some classes, and eat better this week!
Hope ya'll have had a good weekend and enjoy your day. I will check in after today's craziness!
Well you have been getting a lot done. Don’t feel like you are disappointing anyone, you are doing this for you. I am glad you have your week planned. Can’t wait to hear how it is going!1 -
jenmurphy3 wrote: »I have to get in the habit of posting daily. Well here goes my week in summary:
Calorie goal, well at first I was happy that I was always having left over calories, then I looked and noticed that I was eating my exercise calories. I will have to scale back to stay within the given allotment. OverLl though, I have been tracking everything I eat.
Water, I can do better. I usually have my 40oz jug finished, but I have been only that and no more, so I KNOW I have to drink more water
Steps:
Sept 1= 6,794
Sept 2= 5,883
Sept 3=11,956 (🤩)
Sept 4=7,519
Sept 5= 9,606
Sept 6=15,272 🤩
Weight= 234.6
You can eat back exercise calories but I wouldn’t eat all of them.Check-in for Sunday, 9/6
Steps: Sat=6,653; Sun=7,052
Calories: under
Water: nope
Closed Ring Streak: 0 days
It’s nice to be home and back to my routine. Not much damage over the weekend, only a 0.1 gain on the scale today. I am sure that I hit my steps and closed my rings over the weekend but with the watch dying on Saturday, it did not register. So, I will reset my streak goal.
Congratulations to all of those who lost last week. For those who gained, it’s a new week and we all have gain weeks. Keep tracking, posting and moving and the scale will come back down.
My daily goals for the rest of this week:
7000 steps
80oz water
Close all rings
Log every meal
You will get that streak back. You obviously did well on your food choices this weekend. Well done!It seems I've gained again in large amounts. This yoyo(ing) is frustrating. Please remove me from the group.
Sorry to see you go. I agree with Megan and hope you reconsider. Whatever you do don’t give up on your weight loss.0 -

My husband had the day off so of course he wanted to lounge around and play games all day, which means he wants me to as well. Which honestly, a day of lounging with my husband is nice sometimes with as much as he works, I was just worried about my steps for the day haha. I decided to stand behind him while he played a game and walk in place while I watched him. Felt a little weird but I definitely got more activity that way! Also got a little 45 minute walk in in the evening before it started raining2 -

I'm really trying but I seem to have a problem with night eating. I'm going to make a point of tracking more because I don't like to see those extra calories in writing Hope everyone has a great week!1 -
Today's steps: 5,067
I did take my Fitbit off while I did some work outside. I was washing stuff down and was getting filthy so I didn't want to mess it up. I continued on my cleaning escapade lol. I also stuck to eating healthy today despite many temptations! I also have decided to decrease my workdays to spend more time at home doing what needs to be done and spending time with my kids. I will also be able to go to the gym more as well. I will still work my 3, maybe 4 days at the hospital but won't be trying to work every other day at the surgery center. I think I was putting too much pressure on myself and I can live comfortably on my one income so it isn't necessary to stress myself out so much. Hopefully that will help me to stay on track as well.
Tomorrow is a classroom day at the hospital so I won't be getting a lot of steps in However, I will be off earlier than normal so I am hoping to make up for it at the gym.2 -

Went way over on my calories, guess it's a good thing I did get a workout in and the treadmill, but I ate all my calories and was still over.
The extra eating is coming from not smoking, I know it is. I really need to stay busy, I guess and stay out of the kitchen.2 -
@ScorpioGirl70 - I never smoked so I don’t know what it’s like to quit. I know it can’t be easy. Good for you for your commitment to improve your health and well-being by quitting, getting fit, and losing weight. Mis-steps will happen, you are doing great!
@Megan_smartiepants1970 - over 10K steps by 1:30 ... girl you are killing it today!

Congrats on the loss! Nighttime eating is a tough one. I find lately I get hunger every night around 10pm even when I had my evening snack. It is my main goal to stop the nighttime snacking and in my case binges. I have to try and occupy myself with something else. Hang in there!Today's steps: 5,067

I am glad you have made a decision to give you more time. I personally let my job take over my life for many years. I wish I had done what you are doing so I could have enjoyed my kids more when they were young.ScorpioGirl70 wrote: »Daily Checkin Sept 8, 2020
