As we have a fair few walkers on here I thought I'd share this nice autumnal pic from our walk in a deer park yesterday. We also saw deer very close up which was wonderful! Good exercise too as we got onto some hilly terrain and I definitely got out of breath.

Sorry for the delay. I had hoped 1 more day would make a difference. It didn't and then I couldn't get on yesterday.4 -

We have been having record breaking heat. We have been in the 80s. Ow, we are supposed to get snow Mon-Wed, which would be crazy early for us.1

Happy Sunday!
I am not doing the tallies right away, so there is a chance our last 4 people can weigh in or let me know if they are taking the week off - thanks!

This is is were I like to run. I know it doesn't look like much but it's hard to convey in a photo. It's a small nature reserve near where I live and the sounds of wildlife are amazing. I'm not a music girl, I much prefer to just listen to nature and zone out a bit...
I'm dreading the winter as the ground will get very boggy...10 -

I had difficulty logging in yesterday 😕4 -
@Pearl4686 That looks beautiful Zoning out to nature sounds great. Autumn is my favourite time of year!2

It's so GREEN!!! We have no leaves now, but that means we can see the lake that is down below us. All winter we get the lake view, so even though it isn't green (except for the conifers), it gives us a sense of space. Your path looks like a wonderful place to walk. And sounds of nature are the best music around3 -
Here is this year's Halloween monster from my walk yesterday - the woods always provide some great ones!

I'm off to a virtual meeting to discuss a book I am seriously NOT enjoying. It is an academic book that is getting my goat. We'll see how it goes!3 -

So I tried Halo Top ice cream for the first time. Everyone raves about it so I was curious.
Its not bad. It actually feels like ice cream, unlike the Good North, the stuff I got before, which is like eating cold, ice cream flavored taffy. Its sort of weirdly unpleasant chewy and paste like lol.
Anyways I still honestly don't like ice cream generally, but it's good to know about for summer.3 -

Welcome! Always fun to have a new team mate around.1 -
@Terytha
Thank you so much for the warm welcome! I see we're here tracking our daily steps. Unfortunately, I haven't a device that does that tmk. Hopefully that's okay!
Aside from that, I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend and is staying safe as well as healthy.3 -

Sorry to post so late. I had trouble trying to post earlier this weekend. We are in Venice this week and it’s beautiful!3 -
Welcome @dashofwicked! The group is great and very supportive. Enjoy!0

@dashofwicked
So good to meet you! No need to track steps if you don't do that - we also have a way to translate other exercise into equivalent steps if you want to be on the steps/exercise team. You could do that, or just tell everyone about your exercise and other goals every day. It's pretty flexible!
Tell us a bit about yourself - whatever you're comfortable to share. We have members in many countries, of many ages, and it is always interesting to know a bit. Even your name if you are OK with that - although your username is great fun. One can always use a dash of the ol' wicked when working on getting rid of those stubborn pounds we have managed to put on to ourselves... In any case - welcome! I hope you enjoy our little gang here.1 -

Is it correct that we don't have to register for November, only new members? If so I would like to change my weigh in day to Monday2

Good morning! I do not want to go to work today. It has gotten really cold so fast and I don't want to leave my fire. We did some sledding this weekend and I got a walk in too. This week I am dropping my calories down but not as low as they were. Trying to get back to my normal workouts too.
Welcome @dashofwicked ! I don't keep track of steps either.
Sounds like some fun trips going on!3
