Happy Friday to you both. You are still showing a loss for the month. Maintaining is not bad at all. You are both doing great.

On top of all the lovely news, I got a flat tire yesterday. Changing a tire in the snow, I snapped. Totally lost it. Gave up last night. Turned to the bottle. That said, I still lost weight this week. Can only imagine what that number would have been

@erikNJ Oh no. I know that had to suck. I hate that your day just kept going down.

    Good afternoon
Just wanted to let you know I’ll do my best to post from now to the 28th .... I’ll be visiting my granddaughter in Washington and the WiFi there is pretty spotty so you may not hear from me
Hope you all have an amazing wonderful Christmas 🎄 and I’ll be back on the 28th

@murdog3t Since your not sure if we will hear from you. If I don't see a weight posted I will roll your weight over this week.

@erikNJ Some days the universe just conspires against us, I don't blame you one bit for having a drink (or more). Don't let it derail you though, you're doing great!

Stay strong this weekend! If you do have a treat don’t let that guilt you into giving up and going crazy. Good luck everyone <3 we’re all struggling, but we’re in it together. We won the first week- I bet we can win this week! I wonder if anyone is worried about telling their loved ones that they want to lose weight? Like if you don’t want to partake then it will make them unhappy? I don’t think they will be sad if you don’t bake those cookies or that traditional food. You’re loved.
Has anyone replaced any old tradition foods with something healthier or just not have it be about food?

@brandi_84, I went back to check, and we had missed the posts that they submitted their weights. I had a problem with "view only" for a few days.

I am so sorry I did not put in my Saturday weight. It was 144.8, up from 144.2. I have not been good about tracking so this is not a surprise. I will track for the rest of the month and work so much harder to stay under the daily calorie limit.

@richmondwriter That is not much of an up. We haven't seen you much lately. How are you doing?

Hi Brandi, Thanks for checking in! I'm sorry, I had gotten behind on correspondence here and am just catching up. Things are fine, but I haven't been as accountable. I need to buckle down on my dieting through the end of the year as would love to finish with a loss.

Well, nothing like stating the obvious, but my heart is just not into it, so I will be bowing out until the New Year...but I will be back! Merry Christmas, everyone! Have a wonderful holiday, even if it looks a little different this year.

Merry Christmas and we look forward to seeing you in the New Year!

Weigh In Week: December Week 3
    Weigh In Day: Friday
    Previous Week's Weigh: 168.0
    Today's Weight: 168.0

I'll be happy just to maintain and not gain the rest of the year. There's too many treats in my house and now my kids are home for 2 weeks and they have bottomless stomachs! Plus my husband is off for the next week and he likes to eat out a lot. I've still been exercising but I'm not liking my current program as much. It's strength focused but my joints, especially my knees, are feeling very tender and rickety.

@thedestar Enjoy the holidays. It will be a 2 week break here at my house too. My family loves for me to bake during time off.
I'm sorry that you are having trouble with your joints. Be careful. I'm very particular about the type of work outs I do for that very reason.

This year we are having a breakfast. It is something different and we won't have all the tempting leftovers and pies.

Nothing wrong with enjoying the holidays. Especially in a year like this. It seems you are already mindful of the situation.
I think most of is agree that simply maintaining over these next two weeks would be a big win

End of Day Note ~ I ate 2 Donuts just before going to bed! I try to understand why I eat when I do so that I’m not getting back into old habits. So I know this: I asked My Self if I could have a snack as I looked over at the box of dozen glazed donuts, then my alter ego, Myself cut her off with “don’t say No to her because that’s all you ever do is say No”! And then My Self ignored her by occupying me with things like getting water, doing my nightly face regime getting ready for bed, then after a few minutes Myself was in there getting the box down from the pantry for me. My Self couldn’t believe her own eyes but also couldn’t resist to sing out “she doesn’t reeeaaally want it thooough“.. Myself instantly shut her down; “Just let her, she is just tired of that empty feeling in her gut, So maybe you’re right and she’s not hungry, and maybe she should be asleep already and maybe she shouldn’t have even brought Donuts for everybody else in the house. Sometimes you can stop being a warden and just Let HER LIVE!” -And that’s what happened and I think the moral of the story is: Go to bed earlier = voices can’t argue if they’re sleeping lol
