Thanks for the energy and “kick” @jugar and @kali225!

@conleywoods great dress and I love the hair!

My weekend has been pretty slow so far. I forgot all about the Super Bowl... I’m wanting to get in a hike this morning in the quiet. So I am off to get started!

Week one of Habit Tracking worked for me!
    f1pt9k1st2dh.jpg

Hope this motivation from colouring in squares continues! My food choices have slipped again on the weekend and I'm going to give into the family's requests for chicken wings and buffalo mac 'n cheese for Superbowl but I'm logging everything even when it puts me over the calorie limit. I'll do my best to be mindful of my portion sizes today and drink tons of water to start flushing the salt out before my Wednesday Weigh-In.

@conleywoods you look amazing! love the ruffles

@jugar did you get the tractor started?!?!?

Yes! Started like a champ and the road is now clear. We'll drive up today and see how it goes. Our hill is quite steep (my sister's ex called it the hill of death :grimace: ) but it is getting nice and cold now, so that makes the packed snow over the gravel nice and grippy. It's all looking good.

@conleywoods I love the dress. It has the perfect amount of ruffles. And those shoes 🥰

@micki48 I love the image of you and your granddaughter dancing around in tutus. I love the dress up phase.

@planemonkey I like that full month visual. I have a planner for tracker for the week but I think I like the visual for the month.

We had two birthday celebrations this weekend. My dad on Friday and my 11 year old yesterday. I had a small peice of cake Fri, a breakfast burrito yesterday, and sesame chicken last night. I skipped the cake last night. Today, I am going to lunch outside with a friend I haven't seen in over a year. My son has birthday on Wed and my mom on Friday. I just plan on small portions and no cheats in between the celebrations.

Sounds like birthday central at your place!! The Age of Aquarius for sure

    Sunday weigh-in
    PW - 185.2
    CW - 186

Sorry team! I'm working out with Heather Robertson this month and most of her workouts are strength-based. So I am lifting heavier, I'm stronger, and more toned and even though I am weighing in a little higher than I would have liked - I'm a lot happier! But I hope the weight evens out and I can continue with a downward trajectory in the coming weeks.

Personally I have felt the past week has been really good. I've logged all of my food and kept to my workout schedule. I've even gone out walking twice this week - a major check in the box for me as I was at risk of turning into a hermit.

I've checked into this community at least once a day - although I haven't posted. Two reasons for that; Firstly I don't really have much to say and would rather say nothing than just add unnecessary chit chat. And, secondly, I am often overwhelmed by long posts and there's a good chance that I won't read it, being constantly time poor. Even more reason not to add a long post!

That said, I shall be back later with my step and exercise log for the past week.

    Happy Sunday, Friends!

@Kali225 "chatting with my sister while we clean our apartments:" - I love this - whoever thinks to do a catch up while cleaning - perfect!! Glad you're on the other side of your slump.

A few people here mentioned Leslie Sansone. I had never heard of her, so today decided to do a workout to bump my steps. Really enjoyed. She's so energetic! Very easy to get lots of steps and doesn't feel like a sweaty workout.

I also did a leg and abs workout this morning. Food was so so but under maintenance so hopefully won't have ruined my week.

Had a couple of quiet days on here, manic offline. Worked late Friday, did the food shop in the evening, went for a (muddy) run yesterday then spent hours sanding the new desks, walk and cleaning/tidying today.

The 300g I've been fluctuating around have gone - hopefully that's still the case on the scales tomorrow.

I all. Currently on my 25th minute on the stationary bike. Yesterday I went for a walk and ran intermittently. Never for more than about 45 seconds probably, but boy did I get into cardio and peak zones more. Burnt more calories too for a long time after. Almost didn’t quite get to my step goal, but I heard you in my ear cheering me on. 6/7 days hot my step goal this week. Now to do it again. Consistency is my kryptonite. I’m trying my best.

Heading over to my daughter’s shortly for super bowl. My SIL is from Kansas City so he’s real interested for some reason. 😂

If you haven’t already, please get those steps in. 😘 👟

Thank you. My goal is 10k daily.
If I wear my tracker during runs and workouts, is that ok or should I deduct?

There it is! We done good

@YinxFed I'm so glad you're back to workouts you are enjoying. Don't worry about the slight bump up in weight, though - when you are building up muscles you'll retain more water. It's great you got out for a walk too - the risk of turning into a hermit is real!!

    @pearl4686 and @micki48
Some great exercise energy coming from you as well - and logging! The Leslie Sansone videos are the best thing when the weather is horrible or you just don't feel like it. Glad you tried them out, @Pearl4686 It looks like you both have banished the doldrums.

@DD265 the whirlwind! I'll bet that 300g stays gone.

@micki48 and @eggfreak - thanks for the encouragement!! My apartment cleaning was very successful. Just kitchen cabinets left to weed through this week and I will be in great shape to start packing to move.

    Steps for Saturday: 14,012

Definitely ate a lot for the super bowl tonight, but I did at least get a 2 mile run + long walk in before the snow! (Got 7 inches here). And I did a 50 min yoga practice that felt great, especially for my back (love a good supine twist), and then did a 55 min HIIT workout. So hopefully some snack foods were mitigated by the exercise.

The weekend is ending and I feel pretty good about how it went. I finally got a normal workout in after about a 2 week period of sick and work craziness. It felt really good. I'm also back to logging now which is a good thing. I did a lot of laundry 😅 😬 Sooo much laundry!

@jugar Glad you got the tractor going and cleared the driveway. Hope you are getting all set up at home so you are prepared for your recovery. Is it just a day surgery? You take great care of yourself and you should do well!

@YinxFed Sounds like you are having a great month so far! Glad to hear you are enjoying your workouts and seeing the outside world a little.

@PlaneMonkey Love the monthly calendar view. I use a monthly view too. I definitely need the big picture.

@Kali225 Glad you got back on track and had a good day.

At the bottom of the 300g :D

I'm on a remote training course this week, in some ways it's nice not to have the stress of my busy day job (last night was the most peaceful I've felt in a while) but I struggle to focus when I'm being 'talked at'. Luckily, it's 4 hours instructor lead and then some practical labs so fingers crossed not too dull. It's valentines day on Sunday; we're talking about getting a takeaway, but have suggested doing it next Monday after my exam which will hopefully be a pass.
