    END OF THE MONTH PREP

    Those of you who haven't yet posted your weigh in for this week but are past your weigh day, it would REALLY help your Captains and Motivators out if you could get that info reported before Sunday, so that we can get all important information recorded and reported to the MODS.

    Steppers, I'm seeing lots of empty spaces on our spreadsheet...please report in your steps ASAP.

    Extra thanks to our newest motivator @JoDavo66 for her extra efforts this week...to @mulecanter for his upcoming graphic treasures and for helping to fill in the spreadsheets and to everyone who posted and got conversation flowing again during the month of April...it's so nice when everyone shares...even if it's just a thought or two.     @JoDavo66 I don't count exercise calories in MFP. Mostly because almost all burn estimates are grossly exaggerated. That said, if I've been doing something strenuous and I'm hungry, I eat a bit more and don't worry about it.

    MVP is synced with my activity tracker so it tracks exercise but I don’t pay any attention to it. I exercise for my mental and physical Heath and well being but I do not include burned exercise calories in my weight loss goals for many of the same reasons already mentioned. I figure there are many times that I underestimate or forget to log and the exercise probably balances that off.

    Hi All! So glad to have found this group and I hope that it can keep me motivated through May! I am a 48 year old Mom of 2 who has been taking care of others for the past few years, but have neglected myself. Then came the past year, which threw us all for a loop. My daughter loves to bake and has been doing that to combat anxiety during COVID...which has not been so good for my waistline. Recently, my blood pressure and weight have begun to creep up and I was just put on medication but I do not want to stay on it long term!

    @goonies73 Wow, that's so true...we always put ourselves last...looks like you're making good strides already! Your first weigh in with us will be on Thursday, the 6th, but we'll still show 253 as your start weight if that's what you signed up for and you have another week to continue your downward trend!!! Proud of you!!!

    Thanks for taking time to introduce yourself and sharing with us a little about your issues. I too am on BP meds and am working to lose so I can come off of them HOPEFULLY!     @JoDavo66 And I'm off all week on vacation!!!! WOOOOOHOOOOO!!! I'll still be teaching my piano lessons but no full time work! And I'll be on here all week causing trouble of course!! @mulecanter LOOK OUT!!! BWA HA HA!! :smiley:
