Please remove me from this month's challenge. I didn't weigh in the last week of August because of Hurricane Ida and missed this week's weigh in because I was still evacuated. I'm home now but don't have all my regular food yet so not really eating for weight loss. I will rejoin in October.

Hey @Chalmation I can easily get you excused from weigh ins for a few weeks or move you to the support team if you think you'll be out for more than this month...that way you won't have to re-register...which would you prefer. Very sorry you're dealing with the after effects of the hurricane!!! Hope all is well with you and your family!! Let me know.

Good morning team. I had a nice and relaxed Sunday. Did my workout somewhat in the morning and that was all I did really. My headaches have been pretty bad the past week, so I am hoping this week is better. Though we are getting a lot of sun and higher temperatures, so probably not.1 -

I need to try to be more active, I’m from Australia and my state is currently in lockdown so haven’t been moving as much as I normally would. Also need to lower the end of week snacking, salt and vinegar chips and Tim tams are hard to resist.

CONGRATS to all of our winners from the first week of September! It's a tough time of year, very busy for many of us...back to school is in full swing...I'm working OT, many of us have multiple jobs, so try and find some time for yourself, even if it means walking indoors, doing a walk video, exercise routine on you tube, etc...there's always a way to keep moving, even if just walking in place, while watching your favorite show...all steps count as activity!
Have a great week!

Here's my answers to the week's this or that...hope you enjoyed it!

My first husband was Army...love to watch my Ky Wildcats in college BBall...tablets are lighter...SO partial to the Caribbean but Europe has so much rich history, very torn on that one...Can't stand tomatoes at all, love chicken and tuna salad that has lots of onions/celery for crunch. LOVE to play putt putt (miniature) golf and board games...guess that makes me a kid at heart, huh?!
Jessica0 -
No military background at all - but love the ocean so chose Navy. Chose soccer because I’ve been enjoying Ted Lasso lol. My Grandma made the most delicious homemade tomato juice when she was alive - think about it sometimes. While I enjoy sharing a can of tuna with my cats, I love egg salad sandwiches. And for someone who is really not competitive, I am a fierce mini putter 😀1 -
Almost all right side for me. My dad was Canadian Airforce and served on Navy ships for a time. I love Europe and actually spent 6 years living in Germany when I was a kid. I still chose the Caribbean though, I love a relaxing vacation.2 -
Good Morning, all!
Hope you had a good weekend.
My boyfriend has been finally back from the deployment; he is in the US Navy.
We both woke up before 4am and started working out at 0430 including the walk outside while it was still so dark and calm.
Since he is back to the land, we both will try to be healthy and hit our goal
Thank you all for the motivation all the time!3 -

Good morning team. Monday was gym, nap, choir day. I had a pretty good time and I made it to 10 minutes on the elliptical, so yay progress. It's very hard to fall asleep after singing for 2 hours, so I do not feel great today due to low amount of sleep. I will try to stay awake, but I already have a headache, so not sure I can make it through the day without going to bed.

Hi all, sorry not been on here much lately.I am on holiday/ vacation in Greek islands for just over 3 weeks. However not a great start,we were in a restaurant in Santorini enjoying the amazing views & some nice food.I slipped on the way to the bathroom & ended up in hospital😪 I dislocated my shoulder & it had to be put back in place.Ouch !! So am now in a sling for 2 weeks.Disappointed not to be able to swim in the sea but I'm sure I can still enjoy my hols.

This or that options: Navy because my stepdad is retired Navy.. like both sports but chose BBall because I prefer to watch it over soccer (which seems super looong). Laptop because keyboard. Haven't traveled to Europe or Caribbean - but warm sun, sand and beach sound delightful. Chicken (healthier/cheaper option), OJ fresh squeezed. Marinade vs dry rub was hard - like both, same with tuna or egg salad. Trampoline, because we had one. Puzzles, i enjoy seeing it come together.2 -

Good morning team. Tuesday is my restday so there wasn't much going on. I went to the vet with my cat for his yearly check up and shots. Had a long nap in the afternoon as I was expecting. My steps were really low by the end of the day, so I had to do quite a bit of walking to make sure I hit my 7500 goal, but I did it.
@izzyred9400
Oh no, that's awful! I hope you aren't in too much pain and that you will still be able to have fun. Wishing you a speedy recovery.1 -

@angmarie28 Re: "Stop Letting Food Be The Boss of You"...I needed that today, Angmarie...thank you for posting...today's been a tough one. I keep giving in to cravings and then don't even enjoy what I'm eating, so it's a REAL waste...the only thing I've been consistent on is my walking...I know I need to do better, but it's just so hard sometimes. I've got to get back to work.

Good morning team. I had another chat at the gym. My numbers barely changed, gained a little bit of muscle, lost a little bit of fat, weight was basically the same. He thinks it might be because my body has gotten too used to the shakes, so nothing is happening despite my pretty high deficits. He suggested trying to add in some 'normal' food. I just got back from the store and I got some fruit, muesli, yoghurt and small quinoa salads. I figured out the calories/macros for everything yesterday, so I knew what to buy. I hope it will make a difference.1 -
