Up 1/3rd of a pound - not what I was looking for but we went out to dinner for my free birthday burger (my birthday's actually not until the 31st but it's good for the month of October). Anyway I did skip the French fries … but succumbed to the onion rings. Oh well, it's been a long time since I've had them so I'm not going to feel guilty. Time to move forward and face the fresh start of a new day and week!
Although I don't usually look forward to Mondays during the weekend, I usually feel energized to start the week when Monday morning actually arrives - but even more so today as I got a record 8 and a half hours of sleep last night which blows away my average 4 - 5 hours. Hmmm - maybe I will need to try this onion ring thing out again.

Steps 4248. Kept my hand in my pocket a lot.
Calories - 1675. Made a stir fry for dinner.
Exercise - walk on the beach with wife. Wanted to do a long one but I got light headed right away, I think from giving blood, so I kept it short. I had my compression socks on or I would have walked barefoot.

Saturday had a quiet day and got in a 5 mile walk and yesterday did insanity max workout and grocery shopping. I hate having to grocery shop on the weekends again so crowded. I purposely went when the Patriots were playing and it was dead. Now I just send to plan my grocery shopping around the football schedule. Lol. Today I am going to try to walk a trail after work with the kids, they are off from school but I am working.
That’s a great strategy to avoid the crowds.Nice exercise on the weekend!2 -

It was nice having my family in yesterday. Unfortunately, all the time cooking and cleaning meant lots of time standing which made for lots of pain. I am still not doing the best day. Depending on how I am feel when the grandkids go home later I may go for a swim or just go for a nap.

hi everyone! Friday was my bday--I struggle a ton w/sadness due to the estrangement, and for the past few years of this it's like I'm sad from 10/8 til after the new year. I'm SO tired of being sad but feel weird if I am happy! I know I need to talk to someone. Again. hahahaaa...wheeeeeee.... anyway, I did stop doing the healthy things, I didn't go off the rails quite as hugely as I have before though. I do think some of these things I've been doing as a result of being on mfp & here are starting to change the way I think. It's interesting!

Something happened to my knee in the middle of the night while I was sleeping ...granted it is still bruised but I am not limping anymore ... It is still a little bit swollen but nothing like it was... I have been off it for the most part for 7 days ... YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!7

🌞 Went for a nice walk with my dog on Saturday. It was 81 degrees in Wisconsin. Perfect day for a walk around our small city here.

As for this Bingo card, I have Line 1 Across the Top. Breathing for 5 min., Dancing More than 5 minutes (until my lower back and hip starts really hurting.), Eating 5 Vege's, etc. Sorry, I can't remember them all without looking back at it and losing my reply here. lol. 😁

Hi everyone, Happy Monday! I was a bit off-track on my eating this weekend, but surprisingly the scale was still down 0.2 this morning. That's a win! I've been SUPER tired, I feel like I'm fighting off a cold, and when I don't feel good I want to EAT ALL THE THINGS! I'm hoping to do a short run tonight and pep myself up.
I need to work on those BINGO squares, I've done a few but definitely not a whole line yet!5 -

I've been suffering in pain all weekend. Driving to Ottawa and back turned out to be the least painful thing. However all my time there or at home here has been spent in bed or in a chair hunched over trying to find positions that produce the least amount of constant pain.
I believe my medicine ball routine on Wednesday pinched a nerve or worsened a situation I have been dealing with for a month now, but I use to be able to work through it. The discomfort generally resulted in random pain in my right or left hamstrings and calves by late afternoons at work. Walking around or weight training usually fixed it and I felt fine in the mornings.
Now nothing seems to work. I'm getting worse in fact these last few days. I can't do cardio or work out.
I would have been ecstatic with my weight loss. However it took everything I had to get down stairs and stand on the scale.
Tomorrow I'm going to try and get an appointment with my doctor, and hopefully a chiropractor.
The pain is largle shooting down my right leg now, usually resulting in a throbbing right calve ankle and glute. My right glute also has muscles so tight it feels like a fairly large bruise. Which makes walking and sitting difficult. When sitting through both calves will throb to some degree.

It sounds like your IT band is pulled. Mine does the same thing when I stress it during training. Look up stretching for IT band issues and give it a try.2 -

I always gain weight when I am sick, eating or not. When I get a cold all I want to do is eat. I have been lucky not to have a cold since Covid started. I did get Covid though so my daughter is always telling me not to brag about not getting a cold. 😂 You have all week to get a line.

Fantastic loss! Your pain definitely sounds like nerve pain. The pain shoots down my leg and it feels like someone is driving a knife up my calf. I have told you everything I do but here it is again: tens with heating pad, going in the pool and I lie in the position I attached with an ice pack under my back. The picture is what the physiotherapist gave me. I do physio, massage and chiropractor. Stay on top of the doctor to get things moving if they want to do test. I hope you get some relief soon.

I do not think I’m in a good spot at all. I think I’ve gone completely off the rails the last few months. I was doing so well, and then school started back. My stress levels have gone up, and my diet has plummeted. I have to get back on track. This is absolutely not ok. I know in the grand scheme of things I’ve lost weight overall, but I don’t even feel good anymore. Ugh….

So sorry you are having a hard time, Rachael. You have lost weight. I can't imagine the stress level wrt school. Is it possible to do a few of the things you were doing before you got off track? Not everything, but just a couple of things to help you feel better? Sending positive and calming thoughts your way.🧡 Lee2
