Thank you!! My Garmin app separates the minutes between moderate and vigorous daily. I just lump them together for the sake of keeping track of the total weekly minutes. I might see about breaking out the categories this week.
BTW, my bingo card is all over the place. I'll let you know. What a fun idea!!😊2 -

I’m going to skip this week’s steps.
I do not think I’m in a good spot at all. I think I’ve gone completely off the rails the last few months. I was doing so well, and then school started back. My stress levels have gone up, and my diet has plummeted. I have to get back on track. This is absolutely not ok. I know in the grand scheme of things I’ve lost weight overall, but I don’t even feel good anymore. Ugh….
I can’t remember if it was you but didn’t you make a list every week of your NSV’s for the week? Maybe you could do that. I agree with Lee, pick one or two things to work on each week. Last year around this time I struggled with my weight while under stress. The team kept me from giving up. Keep in touch as often as you can even if it is just to say hi. We are here for you.Megan_smartiepants1970 wrote: »B I N G O ... I have done deep breathing for 5 minutes...contacted a friend ....Free..... The Fitbit kind of does that. You get 1 minute when you are in fat burn and 2 minutes when in cardio or peak.shortyjmorgan1 wrote: »Bingo plus I repaired the drainage pipe at the house. Score one for a Monday

I think I might be holding onto some water as I have started to drink a gallon a day. I got a new gallon size water bottle and I make sure to drink it all by the end of the day. I do have to add flavor to it but at least I get it in.
I will post my steps tomorrow. I will be heading to bed. Got to go to bed 30 minutes early for bingo lol.4 -
Today was a good day. I had the day off for Indigenous People’s Day. I went for a 3 mile walk this morning and went to spin class in the evening. I made cornbread and vegetarian chili and roasted Japanese sweet potatoes for snacking on throughout the week. Back to work tomorrow!
10/10 7,201 steps @Megan_smartiepants19705 -
good evening everyone.
Check in for 10/11:
Steps - 5894 plus 20 minutes recumbent bike. Moderate intensity.
Calories - 1674
Exercise - gym. 9 machines, 20 minutes bike
Today was national sausage pizza day so we had dominos. I limited myself to 4 squares of thin crust, even though I was still hungry.3 -
@lindamtuck2018 my dizziness is frustrating. It has been more often last couple days but I'm hoping it is because I gave blood.
I am stuck on bingo. I can't find a ranch that has a calf I can raise 20 times.4 -
I'm sharing this tip for increasing activity:
I was at the gas station. Even though it is a little chilly out, I made circuits around my truck instead of getting back in and waiting for the tank to fill. A plus is I had to keep stepping over the nozzle hose for each time around. It might not sound like much; but, I'm working on improving my N.E.A.T. Every little bit helps.5 -
Bingo for 3 rows. Yes, I am going for a full card😁🧡! I'll see what happens tomorrow and highlight it in a different color.5 -
@shortyjmorgan1
Thank you for the idea of highlighting the bingo card!! I totally hijacked your idea👍👍. Lee4 -
@amymartin555
You are still in the green! Great job getting your water in. I add ice tea drops to mine. What flavour do you use?
@Jpedno
Sounds like a great exercise day! Vegetarian chili is something I want to try. My husband is a meat and potatoes type of guy so meatless meals are so hard to fit in my week.
@rwood566
Awesome gym session! I hope the dizziness goes away and stays away. It’s great you gave blood as it could save a life. You made me laugh about the calves.
@Bluetail6
Three lines! That is amazing! I really believe you can get a full card.

I did end up going to the pool yesterday. I swam but it was not my best swim because I had to stop every now and then to stretch my shoulder. Only did a 20 minute workout as I wanted to spend some time stretching. Didn’t do anything else the rest of the day. Today I see the surgeon. I am nervous. I hope he is able to schedule the injections soon as the constant pain is starting to get me down. Please cross your fingers that something is scheduled soon. 🤞 Hopefully, I will have good news to report tomorrow.
Have a Super Tuesday!

Fantastic loss! Your pain definitely sounds like nerve pain. The pain shoots down my leg and it feels like someone is driving a knife up my calf. I have told you everything I do but here it is again: tens with heating pad, going in the pool and I lie in the position I attached with an ice pack under my back. The picture is what the physiotherapist gave me. I do physio, massage and chiropractor. Stay on top of the doctor to get things moving if they want to do test. I hope you get some relief soon.
Just popping in to say thanks... I had a pretty deplorably night of sleep. Approximately 3 hours.
When I got up I immediately had another hot bath, and it was a major relief, as soon as I got in it. As the water rised the pain subsided, until I was comfy like a bug in a rug, in the fetal position on my side. lol
Thanks for the suggestions... I did do the legs up against the wall of the shower like the photo above while I laid in the tub for a bit. And I do believe the IT Band stretches would serve me well cause the one thing I've been avoiding is exactly touching my toes. Cause it hurts and causes much distress. So I figure if it hurts, then it's probably what I should be doing? But it hurts so damn much I've only been taking baby steps in trying to do that.
I'm doing better then yesterday, in fact I came to work. Mostly cause I want to get paid for the stat yesterday. lol. I have called my doctor, but can't see them till 6:40pm tonight. In the mean time I put high heat on my buttock/tailbone for the last 2 hours since I've been here, and I'm doing relatively good right now. Just mild soreness eminanting from my tailbone and calves. So i guess that's something.
I'm going to endevour to put a half day in today, get paid for yesterday and go home and rest till my Doctor's appointment.
Ta-ta for now. and thanks again.5 -

Working on getting my lungs up to snuff. HR continues to stay higher than it should during exercise. I guess doing it and time will get my cardio back to normal? I get discharged from home health this week. I know we need to also get them to come get the oxygen units. Life is trying to get back to normal.
Happy Thanksgiving to all our Canadian peeps!

Hi all. Still feeling good and sticking to my daily goals. Dad and I met early yesterday morning again and did our 3 mile walk at the lake again. I think he's travelling for the rest of the week now so it won't be an option for a few days but it felt good to be out there again. We've gone three times in the last four days. We had a conversation about how we should have been talking to each other about our struggles for the past few weeks. Apparently we were both struggling and not eating right but hiding it thinking the other one was doing well.
For the rest of the week I'm thinking elliptical, or maybe trying a dance video-I haven't done one of those in a while.4 -

@lindamtuck2018 Great job getting a swim in.
I've got my fingers crossed for you! Hoping so much you can have some relief from pain. 💓
@Poobah1972 I'm sorry you had a rough night. I'm really glad you found some relief with the bath. Stinks you can't get to the doctor sooner but I sure home he can help you out.
@littleflutterby Wow amazing loss! Great work!
@tahm42 I hope you get back to 💯 soon.
@Tazaria87 That's so nice you get to walk with your dad. Isn't that funny. Same thing was going on with my mom, sister and I on our diet. Everyone was putting on a brave face until I confessed how hard eating a raw diet is.
@888Angie888 Great work! Still amazed by your steps every day. I might copy you and start putting my daily goals. Should keep me even more accountable. 😁
Here is my bingo card so far. Might as well share my NSV I put on my yoga pants I haven't worn for a while and they are getting loose!!!5 -

I have my appointment tomorrow with Orthopedics about partial amputation. Have been stress eating all week plus had my birthday Sunday so have been eating cake, cupcakes and nuts all week. Will do better after the appointment. Fear of the unknown is probably greater than the actual event. Still going to local hospital for iv antibiotics until the end of the month. Am looking forward to the day that they remove the port from my chest and I don't have to go to the hospital every day. While this sounds down today, I still have many things to be grateful for and will adapt to whatever the future holds.9 -

@lindamtuck2018 this is the recipe I used: https://www.skinnytaste.com/black-bean-vegetarian-chili/
You could always add turkey or chicken. I made a few modifications but thought it turned out great. Next time I want to experiment with adding tofu or lentils for more protein.
@Beautyofdreams thinking good thoughts for your appointment. I’d be stress eating cake too! My husband has significant chronic health issues and it makes me super anxious just thinking about it!
Today I’ve done good on tracking and eating well. The weather has turned so I didn’t get my second walk at work - I was underdressed! Snow higher up in the mountains and freeze warning tonight. I need to dust off the treadmill now that it’s getting colder and darker earlier. Tendonitis is feeling better, so I may try weight lifting class again on Thursday or Saturday.

Good evening all. I hope you all stayed warm today.
Check in for 10/12:
Steps - 13601. Needed them all to stay warm. I have lost all of my insulation.
Calories 1663.
Exercise - 5.7 mile walk in 1:45. It was at 8am and the temp was in the low 50s. Wore shorts and a tee. Brrr.
Good luck with your appointments, @Poobah1972 and @Beautyofdreams.
@shortyjmorgan1 with that soup, can it be vegetable juice? That is all I can find in low sodium.
@Megan_smartiepants1970 I hope you keep getting better.3
