@lindamtuck2018 no mention of a liver biopsy by the dr, I've only had the ultrasound and blood test.1

Well what a day, I finally made myself get out of bed and go to archery for the first time in months. It's so beautiful when I get there. It's called field archery because instead of just standing in front of the same target the whole time, you walk around a course which is all up and down several acres of bushland.
A great workout for my arms and legs. My fitness must be getting better because I used to huff and puff the whole way around the course but today I barely broke a sweat.😁
No FitOn class today but I did wash all 4 furkids and trust me no zumba class can compete with the level of strength, choreography and stamina you need to wrestle 4 x 30kg+ wet bulldogs 🤣
Then finished the day walking everyone up and down the driveway.

@Beautyofdreams thank you. I am really glad it will be done and I will be in recovery mode before Christmas and the new year.
@lindamtuck2018 I will make sure to keep you posted better than I did with the last hospitalization. I know I will have 2 days of being in the hospital since I will be opened instead of laproscopic surgery.
Mid December is still far enough away that I am having to focus on my family and the holidays. Thanksgiving is being a bigger deal than before. I am even getting everything for Christmas done. Even my decorating is happening now. I am usually an after Thanksgiving kind of girl. I am planning on giving everyone their Christmas ornaments on Thanksgiving. I am keeping busy because I know if I don't I will binge just worrying about my surgery. So crazy busy it is.
I keep forgetting your thanksgiving is this week. Keeping busy is a good way to prevent worry. Do you make the ornaments?Beautyofdreams wrote: »Thank you @rwood566 and @lindamtuck2018 for sharing your experiences and kind words.
Today it was 51 degrees with a light wind so put up the outside Christmas decorations and took leaves to the brush dump. Was up almost 1 pound today. Think it’s just water weight. When I lift weights, I usually carry 2 pounds water weight that would disappear on the weekends when didn’t lift weights.
Reached out to another cousin that am concerned about. Her brother was murdered this year and she has been through the funeral, visitation and two trials for. the murderers. She has had to stay away from her family as her younger sister has mental health issues and blows up when she is around the family. Just worried for her and want to make sure that she is doing well. Let her know that others are thinking of her.
Makes sense you are retaining water just getting back into weights. Putting up decorations sounds like a great way to burn calories. That is nice of you to be there for family members.Pippin20206 wrote: »Pippin20206

I'm really pissed I went down during the week but then bounced straight back again
Thanks for clarifying. Archery sounds so cool. You must of burn a ton of calories. It’s something I always wanted to try. The pictures are beautiful!Aqualang26 wrote: »Aqualang26 (Laura)

Fantastic! Welcome to a new decade!Good evening everyone.
Check in for 11/20:
Steps - 2742
Calories - 1472. After gaining 3 lbs from yesterday's food I am curious about today. Went to see Ghostbusters movie. Had popcorn and diet soda. I am writing this while watching the original Ghostbusters. Lol
Exercise - none. Wrapping presents.
I always bloat and gain after popcorn. Did you have any at the theatre? The first ghostbusters was the best. Now I am going to have the theme song stuck in my head all day.2 -

I am not posting my calories in my goals for now. It’s having the opposite effect. Instead of helping stay in calories it is making me worry I am not going to be able to check it off which makes me want to binge more. Yesterday, I hit a new move record goal on my Apple Watch. I am after the quadruple move goal badge. I was so close yesterday. I want to get it before the end of the month. With that being said, it won’t be happening today. I was up playing games with the grandkids until 2 am and I am very tired and sore today. If I go to the pool it will be a gentle movement/stretching day.
Enjoy your Sunday!

Good Evening Everyone...
I've been doing good this week. Still no cardio. But diet is on point, and I did do Leg Day on Friday. I did an extra workout on Thursday and I did some Extra Chest work on Saturday.
In fact I benched 100 Pound dumbbells for the first time in 17 years and did an instagram video of it for fun!
Hmmm I also installed a 3 Black and Red Wall Control panels in the exercise room.. (black and red theme of course).... So it's been pretty busy.
But the reason I'm posting here, is I'm kind of just bored with posting. I think I'm just going to do my own thing from here on out. Maybe I'll post elsewhere from time to time, Especially as I reach some major goals? Or something interesting happening. Along that line. But I'm not so interested in posting on the day to day anymore.
SO It's been fun, But I would like to excuse myself from the Team. Thank for all the support along the way though.
Good luck Everyone!3 -

@MJ_Keto
It’s a brand new week so you can turn things around. How is the running going?
@Melaniebl2000
Awesome loss! Has your motivation improving? Did you use any tips the group offered?
@Poobah1972
Jonathan, I am sorry to see you go. I am going to miss reading about all your gains with strength training. I hope your back starts improving soon. If you ever want to come back let us know. Wishing you great success on the rest of your weight loss journey.
@rwood566
That’s some crazy steps. I need some lessons from you on staying on point with eating.
@jayenguk
That sounds like a lot of work. You certainly won’t need the gym this week.

No exercise yesterday. I did reach my stand and move goal. I think I may have burned more than the 45 I got from the calorie adjustment. We put together my desk for 3 hours and it is not finished. I am sure I burned a few doing that. I am off to the pool for some laps and then cardio/arm workout.

Question
We are getting very close to the holidays. Our American teammates have Thanksgiving this Thursday. Christmas is a month after that. What do you see as your biggest struggle this holiday season? In a few days, we will look at ways to help with the obstacles of the holiday season.

My biggest struggle right now is getting everything done before surgery on the 15th. I am glad I got into the heart of the season early this year. My true struggle will begin on the 16th of December.1 -

Do a little each day. You don’t want to over stress yourself before surgery. Do you foresee any food struggles during the holidays?1 -

My biggest struggle will definitely not over eating during the holidays. This year my Mom will be visiting so there will be more eating out. In a 2 week period we will celebrate my granddaughters sweet 16, Christmas Eve, Christmas day, New Year’s Eve and Day. I will not be logging for 2 weeks so I have to practice mindfulness. Sometimes this is easier said than done.3 -

My biggest struggle this holiday season is to stay on track without logging any food ... I want to see if I can do this on my own for the the rest of November and all of December ... taking a break from Keto ...and I will restart on Jan. 1st ... I want to enjoy Thanksgiving and Christmas and my Birthday at the end of December2 -
@lindamtuck2018 I am so frightened by the thought of the sensation of hunger after they remove the grapefruit sized lipoma off of my stomach. I am already thinking I will need to be very vigilant with the measuring. I have not felt a hungry sensation for years. I eat on schedule because of that. I won't have that I am stuffed sensation 3 bites in either so I do not know what eating is going to be like on the 16th. Yes I am terrified.4
