@frankwbrown thanks for the tip.Yes I do use my step count to motivate myself.Hopefully it won't happen again !
@LaurieWrobo it's tough losing a wage to add to the family's struggles when someone is sick.Im not sure where you live but in the UK there are a few cancer charities can give financial & other advice to families.Macmillan nurses is one I'm familiar with.
@jessicamralll8 I hope your return to work doesn't cause you too much misery.Your weight loss must have cheered you up.Youre on a roll !!

@mulecanter I knew you'd eventually see that and share my celebration! I'm thrilled, but keep cringing when I get near the scale just waiting for the usual bounce back. I'm hoping I won't see one this time! Our little competition made a nice push each week to work a little harder...should we do another one?? Tell me what you think of that?

Glad you're finding time to post a little more often...and you're doing great...you're also working on building muscle too, right?! So, you have to factor that in too...

Hello y'all! Quick question - I really would like to eat yogurt but I just can not stand the after taste - one spoonful and I am done. Did anybody else have this same issue? How did you overcome?

There are lots of different kinds of yogurt. Maybe one type tastes better than another to you. My one kid only likes Greek yogurt and nothing else, another only likes the sweetened fruity yogurt.
Or maybe you just don’t like it 🤷‍♀️ maybe cottage cheese is a good high protein choice for you.

@kerdil08 nice to see you back 🙂
@seeless25 I was the same with yoghurt.I like Total Greek yoghurt but still can't eat it on its own.I have to add fruit, cinnamon or jam / honey. The same with cottage cheese, the chef Jamie Oliver suggested adding lemon zest & a little juice to cottage cheese. It really improves the bland flavour,or with fruit & salad.

@seeless25 I think everyone is funny with yogurt...there are so many differences between the brands, high sugar, low carb/sugar, with fruit, plain, Greek, etc. and each brand within those categories has different tastes...you just have to try until you find one you like. Myself, I have to have the low carb/sugar ones that are smooth tasting and not grainy...one wrong taste and it comes back up...I do not like anything grainy tasting...eww. I do like the ones with fruit, but they're usually higher in sugar. Just find your favorite flavor (peach, strawberry, etc) and then try a few different brands until you find your favorite. It shouldn't take you long...good luck! Great question!

It is quite often the artificial sugars that leave the after taste, the 0% fat yoghurts can have a lot more 'subsitutes' the natural yoghurts. As others have said trying a few is the only real way.

I can see taking a weekend off keto. You’re doing really well.
