It's always best to journal in some way...either in an app or a written journal...it just helps us realize how much we consume...I was shocked when I first started...you know the drill!

This weeks weight loss must of came from my butt!! Those bleacher seats at the schools are not comfortable any more. Dang - my butt gets super sore without the extra padding all around! I now stand during half time and between JV and Varsity Basketball games. Heck, sometimes I even go to the restroom just to get off the bleachers! Just two more games (maybe three if we win the first regional game).

When I weighed myself yesterday I was excited to see I was 135.6 lbs but then today I was over 136 again. Maybe it was the Lasagna I had on Saturday. Anyway....still sticking with it.5 -

Yesterday I felt pretty fed up at the thought of maybe not going out for 10 days.We had to do it one time before when my youngest son had covid.My hubby & I took bickering to a whole new level lol.🤣
Thankfully fingers crossed I've not felt too bad.Just a really sore throat & feel very tired.Its weird my husband has felt OK apart from an initial high fever & yet is still positive after a week.The boys have been ok so far.
I did have a bit too much relaxed weekend regarding my food,but I felt I needed too.
Tomorrow I hope to get back in control & hope I have a bit more energy to do a couple of walking or dance videos.6 -

I'm upping my step goal from 7,000 to 10,000. I'm trying for 300,000 steps in February now. That means an average of ~10,715 steps/day. So far, I'm averaging ~12,500! 😅5 -

So sorry @jessicakrall8 I am two days behind getting in my weight also. My husband and I have been out of town since last Monday (2/7). My husband's dad passed away a few months ago and we are still working to settle his estate. He lived out of state and he had no will or trust. We live in California but we had to travel to Texas to meet with the lawyers, realtors, etc. His dad had several sons and daughters so they are trying to sort things out and try to sell his house. I totally forgot about my weigh in and step tracking. Please give me a pass this week on both. We are home now and I will try and do better this next week on both.3 -

My daughter has decide keto is not suiting her which makes me happy as it really doesn't suit me though she needs the support and so I go along with her. I will still make lunches and dinner for everyone to keep us on the low cal straight and narrow just with a few more carbs.
We will not go mad and pasta is still out, bread a rarity, potatoes and brown rice once or twice a week each. I hope to exercise more regularly with a bit more energy.
Hope you are making the most of 2022 so far and my thoughts are with those struggling - we are here for you!2 -

@leni1us I'm so sorry for all the stress you're under right now. I've been through all of that as well with the loss of my mother in 2011. Try to just breathe and know that everything will eventually work out...it's just not easy, especially when you're still in the midst of grieving their loss!

Happy Valentine's Day to all.... I'll be getting some baked sweets (cupcakes or decorated cookies) for my daughter and husband after work today. I may indulge just a bit - candy's are not a tempting to me - but baked sweets definitely can be. I remind myself I just need a bite or two to satisfy the craving.3 -
@theMrWobbly - I tried Keto previously and while, effective to loose weight quickly, I found that it was just not sustainable for me: to me it's not realistic to avoid carbs altogether all the time. I also did not feel my best (energy & mood) while on keto. *Just my experience, I know it works wonders for some.
* I love that you approach your journey and try things together as a family.
