@ashleycarole86 our trip isn’t until 7/23 so I have plenty of time to improve my cardio and lose a few pounds.2

I did not managed to write for over a week... and still now, I have no time to really express myself freely. I was OK with food and exercice though. My weight on Wednesday was 135. and my weight today is 134.2. I would like to keep weighing on Wednesdays, but if I have to switch to today for admin purpose, it's Ok too.
The whole "perfect day" concept triggered lots of self questioning that I did not foresee. I am in the process of realising that what I have considered a perfect day for most of the last 8 years needs to change as I used to be in a maintenance zone, but now I am in a " need to loose" zone. This is obviously why I am loosing so slowly while exercising a lot. I will observe some more and will try to come up with my current concept of a perfect day, which could then change once again, when I will be back in the right weight zone.
Let's stay focus. My sister in law and her family who are good eaters, are staying with us for 10 days. I have to keep control despite what others are eating.
So far so good,
M

Wednesdays are perfect! I had you down for Thursday, but any day is fine. The most important thing is that I have it before 8 am on Sunday so that I can do the team tallies.
Keep up the thinking and aiming at those days where you keep the eating just under what you actually need. Then it goes nice and slow and easy. Good luck!1 -
Congrats on completing yet another week of the Fat2Fit Challenge! You can find the results of the past week by clicking on the link below:
Here's a sneak peek into how your team did...2 -
10k walk done. I’m going to be feeling that all week! 😳 Every hill reminded me I live a mile high. I get cookies today! 😂5

2/18 exercise: 11357 steps + 60 minutes Orangetheory (25 minutes treadmill and 35 minutes weightlifting, stretching, rowing. Fitbit gave me 4729 steps).
2/19 steps: 4345
I'm feeling a bit under the weather - so probably going to take today and tomorrow off from strenuous exercise 😅5 -

I mean. I warned you.
I was drinking sour raspberry shots because it tastes like alcoholic Sour Gushers, and there's nothing I love quite like alcoholic drinks that taste like childhood candy.
Anyways. Alcohol absolutely wrecks my scale reading. Something about water retention probably. Plus I ate a LOT of cake.
That's the last of it though. No more events or parties... or excuses. Back to the grind.6 -

Sending good vibes to all those who want/need them
I have been a busy bee. I'm pretty much over the cold now which is a relief and got some big stuff done this weekend. Mom came down on Saturday (so there was food shopping & cleaning/tidying to do) and we made the blind for the living room. She stayed over, and yesterday we made four cushions, 8 cushion liners (to lessen feathers poking through) and mostly reupholstered a dining chair. Mom used to be a seamstress so she a) knows what she's doing and b) has a sewing machine. She definitely did the bulk of it, but I think I was a help rather than a hindrance lol. We really enjoyed it, and the soft furnishings finish the room nicely.
I found the spotty cushions in TK Maxx 5-6 years ago and loved them. About 2.5 years ago, after we'd moved, we visited a local furniture maker who happens to use the range of fabric and I found out the stripes and tartan existed. Set my heart on them and now I finally have it all! The blind folds all the way up, but I've dropped it so you can see
We have 6 dining chairs in total, so I need to do all those. The one I've started needs some bigger staples, and I'm going to cut the foam a bit smaller around it too, but it's going to look great. The living room is basically done then, barring wanting some artwork for the walls (which we'll take our time over) and we have a bookcase we want to replace with a different style. And at some point the sofas need replacing but that can wait.
This is my next thing to deal with...

@Terytha Sounds like just a fantastic time. Hoping your 34th year ahead is a great one!2

2/20 exercise:
61 minutes Peloton + 6706 steps
It's super cold and snowy so our normal getaway out to the mountains for the weekend is off. It's a holiday called Family Day today here in Alberta so I think Brad and I will just take it easy and enjoy the day. I do have plans for a strength day... I worked out quite late last night so hopefully I can get my workout in earlier today.
It still seems to be snowing a bit so I'm sure there is more shoveling in my future. Brad and I sometimes compete for these jobs for who gets the NEAT3 -

@Megan_smartiepants1970 @jugar
Greetings and thank you for the warm welcome!
I am a health enthusiast. I have been incredibly busy the past few years. My fitness/health routine need some major improvement. I wanted to join a group of like minded people to help get back on track
Only have a few questions.
Should I post weigh ins on this thread in a certain format?
Anything else we should be posting?
Anything else to note during the challenge?
Thank you in advance💫1
