@maryphum not to worry...you're last weigh-in from June will automatically carry over as your starting weight for July. You don't have to do anything! Easy peasy!1 -

I responded to GOT goof in June chat. Now that I’m wide awake I totally get why @DaffyGirl88 was surprised. I promise I didn’t see her on Stark team! I was super sleepy last night. I couldn’t even finish reading the game rules😅 It’s a very interesting and fun challenge and ready for a friendly competition!☺️1 -

LOL Now it's a fair(er) fight. Except poor little @KimR_1986 is dangling all alone on Lannister. But she said that' ok and we still her. The rules are a bit long, and daunting at first, but it's not as difficult / confusing as it seems at the beginning. All becomes clear quickly.2 -

Comments: More poor eating and driving home. This will not be a good weigh in week...
Goals for this month are to try to do the daily post everyday and try to not do too badly since every weekend this month is a party event.

I also need to add more exercise in but kind of tired from adjusting to low carb, currently doing a beginner running program (I'm forever restarting running)2 -

@Naija82 I hear you on the nuts. I recently switched from almonds to pistachios. Hoping I'll eat fewer because I have to eat them slower and after a bit my fingers hurt. 😂😂3 -

Welcome to the group @Naija82! Nice to meet someone else who is doing low carb☺️
I started in June. You definitely go through a period of feeling lethargic because your body is adapting to changing energy source. It can take people a few days to over a month depending on your diet history. I’m finally starting to get my energy back now that I’m increasing my fat intake.
You may want to try walking instead of running. Walking is better on our joints and uses fat as a energy source, while running uses more of carbs as an energy source. There are many people who have gotten leaner with walking vs running:)2 -

My name is Sue, and I am 61 years old. I live in southern Maryland, am married, have two grown kids (1 in Seattle, 1 in VA), 1 grandbaby (VA) and 1 fur baby 🐶. I should have grandbaby #2 before the month is out. WOOT!!! I work full time, currently teleworking which appears may go on for.ev.er. I love to read, ride my bike, quilt, and make greeting cards. I am always up for a challenge (you've probably figured that out LOL) and am usually involved in multiple reading, fitness and Fitbit challenges at any given time. 📚🚶♀️
I have been on MFP for almost 10 years now and part of TBBT for a little over 2. Wow...time sure does fly!! I joined TBBT after COVID/teleworking caused my weight to climb. I am closing in on my “official” goal of 140 lbs but will probably revise it down a bit when/if I ever hit it. It took me years (almost 20) to crack the 150 barrier so we’ll see.
The days are warmer so I am looking forward to being able to get back outside and bike / hike / kayak. My goal for July is to be lighter than I ended June. ⚖️ I don't care by how much, it all adds up. However, I WOULD like to finally bust that 140 mark. I am going to Hawaii in October so I need to start getting serious now. Can't wait until the end of September and try to lose 10 pounds. LOL
Anyway, welcome everyone and here's to another great month for TBBT!!! 🎉

Goals/Day/Comments: I had some booze, processed food & desert but I worked enough to barely squeeze under that goal. Hoping to drop a little more before weigh in (.8 below). I might have to fast tomorrow to make that happen & not sure I’m feeling it. Today’s choices will be the determining factor but hey no pressure. This lady’s got goals 😉!💧146oz. 👟8,218 ⛑ +69 (165).

@BlissfulK yay! So happy you have your meter and feel more comfortable logging your food now. I can’t imagine how hard it has been to stick to the plan and your goals without all the tools in hand. Big hugs my friend.
@KimR_1986 you have been sorely missed! I started my weight loss journey in April but I have to say it doesn’t feel like I really started until last month. Checking in daily here and with my other accountability groups was the gamechanger I needed to boost my success. Am I super competitive, yes but an even bigger motivator for me is not wanted to let my team down. The best part is having you all here to help hold me up when I begin to fall. Chin up buttercup, you’ve got this.

Thanks! @JbeanR0212, I really want a CGM (continuous glucose monitor) to see how different foods affect my blood sugar. You need a prescription for most. Have to find out if there are any quality ones available for non prescription use. If anyone knows, please let me know😊
