OUCH!! :s Taking a few weeks off from weighing in and eating all the things wasn't a very good idea. But it is what it is. At least I'm catching it before I lost my Onderland status! I plan to work hard every day and get those pounds back off.

These last six months have been a lot. Joe being sick with so many issues and all the hospital trips have really derailed me. Throw in losing my boss/pastor, family visiting, and my sister moving in it's no wonder I've been struggling. But I also realize that I can't stop taking care of myself and striving toward goals that mean so much to me. I want to be fit and healthy! I want to wear cute clothes! So, there are another six months left in 2022 and I am going to make the most of them. I hope you will too!! :)<3

    Playing catch up here…

@trooworld it really looks like you are so on track with all your exercising, food and water. Great for you! I am so sorry that you are struggling with depression right now, the main thing is to take care of yourself, our mental health is so important. Sounds like you are going to have a very full house of puppies!🥰

@fushiakat i’m so glad that you are enjoying your medium size clothes, it is such a great motivator! Congratulations on the 90 pounds down!! 150 is just around the corner :-).

@katmary71 your hair sounds really pretty! I am there with you on the sleeping, such a challenge! It does sound like you remain busy, good for you for powering through.

@TeresaW1020 please give yourself some grace, you are going through such a very stressful time right now. Every day is a new day❤️. I am so glad that your sister is there to support you, it sounds like you to make a good team! You have got this!!

@Cornanda Give yourself some slack, your body is getting used to a new schedule, routine, I can imagine it must be stressful.

It was kind of a weird day here today, it was supposed to be nice and we ended up with thunderstorms. It is Canada Day and we were supposed to go downtown for the celebrations, instead I took my mom for lunch at a favourite restaurant :-). They changed the way they do fish tacos, super heavy on the grease😠. My stomach is still rumbling, I am not used to a lot of fried food anymore. Since I haven’t been able to work out much in the last week, I booked myself for double classes at the gym tomorrow. I hate to do that the day before weigh in day, am usually up 1.5 to 2 pounds the day after double classes. I was seriously thinking of cancelling the classes and then decided I needed to get a grip🤣.

@x_Lian_x Sometimes especially lifting weights starting a new routine can cause some fluid retention, don't recall why but perhaps that? Kitchen scales are a huge eye-opener especially for things like peanut butter, it's pretty depressing. Weighing my food was a big game-changer and made it clear to me why I'd been stalling for so long.

@trooworld Yay, hope you love the pasta salad, I used to always be asked to make green salad for family events and now everyone asks for it, I just bought the stuff today to make it again too! I hope you share pictures of the pugs with yours, I hope they get along too! I wish you lived by me, I think we'd have a blast together!

@TeresaW1020 Oh you caught it just in time, I know that would be an extra hard backslide if you'd gone back into the 200s, so glad you didn't! Exactly, you've come too far to go all the way back plus you're proving to yourself even faced with an incredible amount of challenges and stress you're still trying each day and fighting, if you can do it now you can do it any time.

@laurelfit57 Happy Canada Day! Oh no, sorry to hear about the fish tacos changing, I have problems with grease too so I feel for you there. Hope you do well with the two classes tomorrow!

Hi everyone, happy July! How awesome are we all going to be this month?! I did my workout then am doing a dance each day on my feed so I did that, went to three different grocery stores to get everything I needed and the bank and food bank farm to water then worked and spent time in the yard. My neighbor and I went to see Elvis late afternoon, it's a great movie but long, I really recommend it though. I'm glad I went to the theater, I think it's easier to pay attention for me than at home where I have my phone. I got popcorn and the butter is making me feel lousy now, hopefully I won't feel too gross when I get up. Had a nice little harvest in the yard and my neighbor lent me a couple books my Colleen Hoover so I'm going to start one tonight then probably read @trooworld recommendation after that. Night everyone, have a great Saturday!

Maintenance range of 127-133 (Center weight 130)

I broke a molar tooth last Thursday; not in pain, not an emergency, but the rest of the tooth has cracks so I have to be careful and not eat hard food and chew on the other side until the dentist can fit me in his schedule to get a crown (first appointment is Tuesday). Because of the tooth I am not eating as much, and my activity level is way up because of the wonderful bicycling weather, and so I've unintentionally lost a few pounds this week. I really want to maintain at my center weight of 130, so I'm trying to get some additional (soft) calories this week.

    @DanielleHeitzenrater Congrats on the loss!

@TeresaW1020 Way to stay in the game, I'm glad you are weighing in again! I know it hurts to see that number but just start fresh today. At least you are still in Onederland!

@laurelfit57 Thanks, the depression is a little better. Yes, it's very chaotic around here right now! Sorry about the thunderstorms on Canada Day. Good luck with the double classes! I am impressed that you do that!

@Katmary71 I'm sure I will. I love pasta salad! They are NOT getting along lol...see below. I'll try to take a pic but it is so chaotic in the house, I don't know if I can get them together! I think we'd have a blast too, if you are ever down this way, let me know! I'm glad you had fun with your neighbor. Great job with the workout! I hope you like the book I recommended. I felt a little lost for the first 10 or so pages but then I loved it.

@micaroo4 That sucks about your tooth. Yay for good biking weather!

Hi all. This has to be quick. We are dog-sitting 2 blind pugs this weekend and let me tell you, it's a handful between them and our pug! There is one good eye between them all lol. The male keeps marking in the house so we ordered some belly bands from Amazon which should be here today. The female and our female keep fighting. It's crazy around here lol. And on top of that, I went to weigh in and our scale needs charging so I will have to weigh in later or tomorrow. I wanted to work out today but I am not going to be able to because these pugs are all over the place lol. Have a great Saturday!

@laurelfit57 thank you and yes, I am trying to give myself grace but I also want to own what I do and not just rely on excuses. Ya know? Bummer about the fish tacos not being too full of grease and not the way you wanted them. Glad you decided to stay with the double classes. My weight was up this morning even though I’ve been doing well with my eating the last few days. The change is that I have also gone back to my weight lifting and it always makes my weight go up. As long we know the cause we can ride the wave until the scale catches up. :)

@Katmary71 You are right that I am a fighter, and I won’t give up on what I have accomplished. My motto has been to never give up. So, I stumbled but I’m back up and moving forward once again. Thanks! <3 I’m so glad that you recommend the Elvis movie. We are all planning to go see it on Tuesday. The last two movies I saw, Downton Abbey and Top Gun I had too much popcorn with butter and candy. This time, I’m smuggling in a bottle of water and that is all I will have. ;)

@micarro4 So sorry that you broke your tooth! I hope you can avoid the pain until your appointment. :/

@trooworld Ohhh those pugs sound like a lot of work. How long will you have the two visitors with you all? Congrats on your loss this week! B)

Hi Team! Today was busy with housework, floor mopping, cutting Joe’s hair, laundry, and changing the smoke detector batteries in the house. Joe can no longer climb a ladder so that has fallen to me to do. I did a good workout with weights and fasted for 18 ½ hours. Lunch was a protein shake and Greek yogurt and dinner will be a chicken fajita bowl over cauliflower rice. I’ve got my head in the game and it feels good!!

@micaroo4 Glad you've been able to ride but sorry about the tooth, I know that's frustrating. Protein drinks helped me a lot after surgery, I was adding back in calories but couldn't eat a lot so a few a day helped.

@trooworld Oh no, I hope this is just the intro and things go smoother with the pups from here on out. Sounds totally crazy, yikes. How long do you have them? The last time I dogsat my neighbor's dog who pees everywhere she kept escaping from her diaper and leaving puddles, I was on the exercise bike and I saw her run by the room without a diaper and sure enough she'd gone again. Stuff that happens with animals is so ridiculous, try to keep laughing but I know it must be really stressful with fighting and peeing.

@TeresaW1020 You'll love Elvis, glad you're going! Smart to bring water, the buttered popcorn made me feel lousy yesterday! Sounds like you hustled today and got a lot done, very healthy eating! So glad you're feeling back on track, woot woot!

@laurelfit57 I keep laughing about your instructor who's like Vannie, glad you had her today. Looks like Vannie would like to catch up with us as well! Give her scritchy scratches from me!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend. I worked out, went to the food bank farm for a few hours, the farmer's market, then came home and took a short nap and went to the pharmacy. The head of the charity asked if I wanted to meet her to pass out fliers for Bow Wow Days but I had my stuff planned and was too tired. Another woman from the charity sent me a message to go with her for a fireworks and music event tonight but it was already time to go when I read it and I'd need a shower if I did that and I'm pretty sore. I have to stop working out hard before the food bank because I'm exhausted afterward. I got 1 long red bean from my yard, I had no clue what it was at first because it's the only one, too funny. Have a great Sunday everyone.

@TeresaW1020 Oh they are! They can't see and they require almost constant attention. Yesterday, I was able to read while I was sitting on the couch with them and that was a relief lol. They are going home Tuesday night at 6pm and that can't come soon enough lol. Thank you! Chicken fajita bowl over cauliflower rice sounds yummy. Yay for being on the upside of motivation!

@askewcr Woo hoo! Congrats on the loss!

@laurelfit57 Absolutely no dull moments here! LOL It is such chaos, Laurel. You have no idea! Well, maybe you do since you are a dog owner lol. We are running around like crazy. Since the two babysat pugs are totally blind, we have to constantly watch them. It is so stressful! They are getting used to the layout of things and we keep the doors to the other rooms closed so that makes it easier. I'm glad you had an entertaining double class session! LOL about Vannie. The pictures make it seem like she is reading our posts! How cute is that??? Great weigh-in!

@Katmary71 Things are calming down a bit: we got the belly band on the boy so he's not peeing on everything. We are going to have to do a deep clean of EVERYTHING once they are gone lol. It is chaos. Dogs fighting, barking, my neighbors must love it! Actually, there isn't too much of that, once they get on the couch, they are pretty calm. I have them until Tuesday at 6pm. Oh gosh, luckily the boy hasn't gotten out of his belly band yet. It is really stressful! Yay for your workout and the food bank farm work. I hope you enjoy your Sunday.

Well, things are a little bit calmer around here. We had the awful thought that what if they don't pick up these dogs on Tuesday? What if they just abandon them with us? Oh gosh, I hope that doesn't happen lol. My pug seems to have a crush on the boy dog. She follows him around the condo it's really cute. I didn't track yesterday but I am going to go back and track the best I can. Have a great Sunday, Slims!

@trooworld LOL it sounds so crazy there. It's tough with dogs that can't see, I had that with my neighbor's dog too. Sounds like you'll be deep cleaning for sure. Haha about them abandoning the dogs, I sure the heck hope that doesn't happen! Love your dog having a crush on the boy, too funny.

    @Vegan4lyfe2012 @askewcr @trooworld Way to go gang!

I was going to say everyone's out partying tonight but it's earlier than I'm normally on and I didn't realize it, wanted to post and go to my room to read. I'm going off an anti-depressant for sleep and onto a sleeping pill so I'm pretty groggy but I only woke once so that's better than normal (woke up at 11:30 wondering if it was time to get up, oops!). I can't sleep for long without a sleeping pill because of my pain so I'll get used to being this tired but I'd love some coffee right now! Had a great workout then made Greek pasta salad to to take to my brother's for dinner tomorrow and chicken shawarma for dinner (both skinnytaste) and both are great. Other than that just planning on some reading time tonight, I was going to go to my neighbor's but feel like taking it easy instead. Have a great 4th and Monday everyone.

Happy Fourth of July Everyone! Enjoy your day!

We celebrated yesterday at my husband's uncle's house and it was so nice. Great to see family and friends! I ate so much good food and drank a sprite. It was so good because I haven't had a sprite in months. I also ate cookies. My numbers didn't cause me to have a breakdown this morning because it was in moderation. I also helped to clean up and walked close to twelve thousand steps. <3 Headed to the gym today.

I'll also take my nieces, whom I call The Sweet Potatoes, back to the park for their second lesson on how to ride a "big girl" bike. Their first lesson was just funny. :p They're 7 and 9 and had never tried a bicycle without training wheels. Have a wonderful day all and let's go get it!! B)

@Katmary71 It IS! Yes, definitely a deep cleaning when they leave. I hope it doesn't happen either, I'll go crazy! I hope the sleeping pill helps you get better sleep. That Greek pasta salad is delicious, thanks for the recipe! I like that it has so many veggies and makes a lot. Have a great 4th!

@infamouscandi Congrats to YOU, that's an awesome loss!

Hi all. I hope to get some laundry folding done today and maybe some meal prep. Other than that, I am going to enjoy some reading! Only 30 more hours of chaos before the dogs go home but who's counting? LOL

Hi Slims and Happy 4th to the USA-ers-

This week at work felt better, but I suspect it will take awhile. I seem to have many opportunities to eat out lately which is throwing off my diet. I've also been a bit "loosy-goosy" with my snacking. And my weekend eating has expanded from one or two lousy meals to most of the weekend being lousy. I had a big gain, but I can tell I have a lot of water on board. I did get in more exercise last week, and was proud of that. Will continue to work on things.

I feel I've been derailed by life this year- it's been a stressy one. I haven't lost, but I haven't gained. I would like to make a push to get some off between now and the end of the year. However, I don't think now is the time to get all strict because I will disappoint myself. And that is not a good pattern to be in. I need to have work settled into a pattern. Right now, my start and end times for the day change frequently. So, for now, I will work on what I can control- watch the snacking, eat when hungry- not just because, clean up the weekends, schedule as much exercise as possible. Adjust more if gaining.

I'm sorry I can't respond to everyone individually, but I've read all your posts and think of you often.

@TeresaW1020 - the past 6 months have been ALOT for you. I'm glad to see you balancing getting back at it while giving yourself grace. You're right- grace can become excusy, as long as you manage that and do what you can you will be all good. You know what to do and will get it done!

@laurelfit57 - OMG- Vanny on the iPad. So hilarious!

Saw Elvis this weekend- enjoyed it.

@trooworld WOWZA on the loss!! I totally missed that on my last post:). That is so funny that Daisy has a crush on the boy dog LOL. When my cousins dog was here, he excited Peed, so there was pee all over my house because every time he and Vannie played he Peed! I ended up buying a carpet cleaner and cleaning my whole house🤣. Is Daisy going to miss her boyfriend when he’s gone? Getting some quiet reading done today sounds like a great plan after chasing around blind dogs, yikes.

    Congratulations to @Vegan4lyfe2012, @askewcr and @trooworld!!!🥳🥳🥳

@katmary71 sounds like you had a super busy day yesterday! That is hilarious about the one red bean in your yard LOL. I’m sorry that you have to take sleeping pills because of your pain, hopefully you will get some relief. Kudos to you for working out when you are so drugged out!

@infamouscandy huge congrats on your loss!

@askewcr sounds like you had a great and very successful celebration yesterday! Yay!! You were really pounding out those steps yesterday! It must have been so cute to see your nieces for the first time on their big girl bikes!

@Cornanda Sounds like you have had a very big adjustment over this last couple of weeks, I should say over 2022! Are you enjoying your new job?

Happy fourth everyone! I hope everybody had a great day celebrating.

I was pretty happy with my way in yesterday, that I stayed the same after double gym classes the day before, I thought I was going to be up one more pound than that. This week I am totally back on track with the gym, so no gym classes on Saturday.

Hi gang, just a quick check-in, I worked out this morning then the day was mellow, went to my brother's for dinner which was nice and came home before dark to keep an eye on the cats. There were a few hundred people on the street around the corner earlier and they have BBQs and are racing up and down the street setting off fireworks, my cats are both hiding, it sounds like a war zone. All the M-80s are making me real edgy. Happy Fourth aside of that, hopefully they stop before 2AM which is how long it usually goes. Off to post my rainbow for the week challenge, have a great Tuesday!

@Cornanda I'm glad work felt better for you. That would be hard to get into a routine with the start and end times changing frequently. Working on what you can control is a great plan. I hope you had a good 4th weekend. Hugs.

@bgame4 I'm glad you had a good weekend! Life happens!

    @Lrprofota Congrats on the loss!

@laurelfit57 Thank you! Yeah, it's really cute...he was on the couch and she came up to the couch and put her paws up on it and was sniffing for him. It's love! <3 Yeah, we are seriously going to have to mop every inch of this place with a strong cleaner lol...luckily, we have laminated wood flooring throughout. Daisy is definitely going to miss her boyfriend! They leave tonight at 6. I will be glad but I will miss them. I'm glad you are back on track, congrats!

@Katmary71 Yeah, people around here set off fireworks, too. It drives all the dogs crazy and I hate it. We went to bed early to avoid it all, put the AC on and we didn't really hear it.

@RaquelFit2 I would gain weight for cheesecake. :D Seriously, I would lol.

Hi all. For the Americans in the group, I hope you had a great 4th of July. For everyone else, I hope your weekend felt as long as ours did. :D I had a good day, I read and almost finished my book. I ate some things I regretted. I will recover. I have somewhat enjoyed having the dogs here but I'll be glad when they are gone, I want to get back to my routine. It's been impossible to do my routine while they were here. Have a great Tuesday!

Katmary71 I had to look up what an M-80 was, we can’t buy anything here but very basic fireworks. The city sets off a big firework display in July 1, in our River Valley, so the whole city can see it. Those go off about 10 PM and the party at the very latest is done at about 11, we sound pretty boring compared to you guys!Sounds like the party is in your neighbourhood for sure! Poor cats!

@trooworld i’m so glad that you have laminated wood! Doing these carpets really gave me a work out that’s for sure! Poor Daisy, does she miss her boyfriend? I hope she is not pining away for him.

It was another super rainy day today, I went and hung out with my daughter and grandkids. I was able to get in a workout at the gym this morning and then get my 10,000 steps in. It wasn’t a great night sleep last night so I will try to stay awake until 10!
Hope everyone has a great Wednesday!
