This has been a rollercoaster of a summer. I went into May at 201.5, then my dad passed away, son’s graduation and ending with a couple of week-long, party-atmosphere vacations and found myself at the end of July back up to 221.5. I stopped exercising, my tracking was inconsistent and dishonest and after six months sober, started drinking again. My emotions and environment were stronger than drive and motivation.
I’m back to making strides in the right direction. But, I’ve proven to myself that bumps in the road veer me off course. I let myself down a little (as well as my team)
But, I’m happy to be back in the right place mentally.5 -

I’m sorry for the loss of your dad. It can be so tough. I lost my dad 3 years ago. Hang in there. Hugs

So sorry about your loss. Sounds like a rough month. It gets overwhelming to deal with everything at once and to stay on track. Happens to all of us. Take it one day at a time. Super glad to hear you are up and about again! You got this!

You are human. Losing a loved one is a process in grieving. You will shine through this as you find a way to a healthier and happy self.2 -
