@lindamtuck2018 The milestone I am working toward is completing my half marathon on Sept 4. Today I did my final long run/walk of 11 miles, will taper next week and then be ready for the race. Afterwards I will probably schedule a pedicure. Maybe a massage and a trip to Ten Thousand Waves, a local Japanese inspired spa.

I'm so ready to be done with this run and move onto some more fun fitness activities.

Starting on August 29th I will get back to walking even though I am terrified ... My plan is to walk 3 to 4 miles (if it is more I will be a happy camper) for 5 days a week getting back to where I was before my fall in June which was 6 to 10 miles ... I will be using my gym and using bands to help me get my legs fitter ... My non food reward will be to get mother daughter pedicures and manicures :)

I 'm glad I'm not the only tall person in the group. 6'3 - 6'4 and large bones. I can't imagine being under 200 lbs. My body is feeling comfortable at 230-235. I had to buy new clothes several times on my 3 year downward trek. I started going to good will stores for my "thru sizes".

    Check in for 8/21:
Steps - 8962. High count for not being active.
Calories - 2100 or close. Forgot the actual count.
Exercise - none. Rested today to let my sunburn start to heal. Went on a stroll after dinner.

So i need to get back to the gym and I also wan to reduce my weight back to at least where i was but if i can get below 200 that would be amazing (that will be a end of year goal) ..as for a non food reward, i guess treating myself to a nice gym with a lovely spa f what i am going to do its a bit more expensive than the last one but heated pool gorgous spa and nice facilities i think it will help!

My next milestone is to reach the 180’s. I think I will go for a massage once I reach this goal.

This is so amazing. I admire how determined you are to do this run even with the obstacles that have been put in your way.

Vacation was great, but I didn't make the best choices and I have been a total slacker on logging and exercise for the last several weeks. It's time to get my butt in gear!

    Weigh-in Day: Monday (Aug 22, 2022)
    PW: 232.5
    CW: 233.4
    SW: 240

So I try to avoid going out to restaurants on Sunday nights since my weigh in is on Monday morning (first thing when I wake up) and dinner out the night before tends to leave me with 'scale hangover'. Anyway, my parents invited our family and we only get together every so often so of course we accepted ... and of course it was a Mexican restaurant (a good one) and of course I couldn't resist the salty tortilla chips. Needless to say - I was looking good all week and then ... surprise a nice 3.9 lb gain overnight! Oh well, it should be temporary - now if I can avoid a repeat this coming Sunday.
