on the subject of - Eggs! My lunch today is:

1/2 c. liquid egg whites, cooked in the microwave
2 Tbs monterey jack cheese, (would have worked with just 1)
    1/4 avocado
    2 Tbs pico de gallo
    salt & pepper

Really yummy and easy to make at work... just about 200 calories & 18 grams protein. :p

    What are you eating today?

Ha, eggs, my favorite (but hard to get) snack! Today I ate 2 hard boiled eggs, and it felt like a luxury. For lunch, I ate a farro and chickpea bowl with lots of herbs. I have discovered that I really don't miss the olive oil in the dressing at all. I buy wonderful Katz vinegar online, and that makes it with no oil needed.

Oof... week 2 is hard. I posted a loss, but I have felt starving and have eaten 2400 kcals both of the last two days. And I still feel hungry. I feel like my body has now recognized that I am losing fat, and it is driving me to go eat as much as possible.

I am trying to focus on well-spaced out protein and whole grains to prevent hunger. But I was up half the night with hunger. So tired today.

Will this go away if I stay consistent, or is this how I am going to feel? :/

    Saturday January 7th

    Previous Weight: 158.2 pounds
    Current Weight: 157.9 pounds

Lost 0.3 lbs since last week.
Down 12.2 pounds from my highest ever weight (June 1st, 2016).

VERY thankful for this loss as I had a brutal week when it came to health concerns so since my last weigh in the previous Saturday I spent a lot of time in bed and on the couch and sitting in a chair on the computer so only able to get 3 walks done during the course of 7 days and was very inactive even inside the house due to my health problems. Although I didn't always make healthy choices this week, I did make some good choices and I am glad I didn't totally binge eat junkfood or take out food all week as it would have been very easy to since I didn't feel like cooking and since all the health issues are making me feel down and discouraged.

    Hi guys

    Date: Friday, Week 1 January
    PW: 140.21 lbs
    CW: 139.11 lbs

I return to this supportive group after the unforgettable 2022:

. I flew to overseas for my core family members due to their Covid, long Covid staying in ICU and open surgery. I was very unwell that I had seen a lot of doctors and I lost weight from 67.7 kg to 63.1kg (149.25 lbs to 140.21 lbs) =(.

. My husband and I contracted Covid before Christmas. I started havinv long covid with an ongoing headaches coughing and body aches.

When I am trying to recover from Covid and long Covid, my doctor advised me to monitor my conditions when resuming my treadmill walk slowly, starting from 5 mins with a 5 mins increment. Early this week, I have resumed the regular 30-min daily walk.

Today is the Day 11 walk. I hope I could keep doing it with nutritious diet.

I go for my Day 12 walk now. Thank you for your kindness and support in advance.
