@JenAWhite It's great but you have to have a Tonal home gym to use it (and the home gym is very expensive, as a warning! But I love it dearly...the best investment in my health that I've made). I love apps that help too. I use Samsung Health a lot.

Hi all. Happy Friday! I did really well yesterday but I think my body was retaining water from the Chinese food the night before last. It's kind of a bummer that I gained because I've been working so hard, it takes a lot of effort to do everything, but I'll keep pushing through. Here's a pic of my salad from last night, it's called an "Ugly Salad" named by one of my BFFs. It has avocado, chicken, blue cheese, reduced sugar dried cranberries, lettuce, and toasted walnuts on it with a homemade balsamic vinaigrette. It's my favorite easy salad.
MY NO-ZERO DAY WIN FROM YESTERDAY: I drank 116.8 oz water, completed my 12-workout strength training program, ate healthily, and tracked everything.
My phrase for the year: "Every choice is another chance to change my health for the better."

Well you think I would have learned from the last time, but here I am eating my yogurt with a fork and my finger. Good grief!
On a plus, I stalked up on some easy to eat fruits. As @Katmary71 mentioned, having healthy snacks around is better than not. I’m not a huge veggie lover unless the mood strikes me, so I have mandarins, peaches, bananas, and apples awaiting my night time noshing needs.

It's cold 🥶 and windy here today. Bundled up and went for a walk in the sunshine 🌞. Sun was not at all warming, but good for the soul to be outdoors and active.

It was cold and windy here too. Yuck. Spring cannot come fast enough.
I'm actually eating healthy and for the most part not going over the 1500 calories I allow myself to eat. (More if I exercise.) I lifted weights today for about 15 minutes.
Slow, light and steady.

Where to start. It’s been awhile since I posted. My treatment for C. difficile failed. I ended up at emerg last night with some scary symptoms. Luckily the er doctor was able to find my test results even though I had not heard from my family doctor yet.
I was able to start a new prescription of a different type of antibiotic. Allegedly this one has fewer side effects. Fingers crossed.
Exercise: I went to work 3.5 days this week. I was mobile. I got 10,000 steps most days just doing that.
Food: oat milk. Applesauce. The odd banana. Some rice. Definitely not a healthy diet. Still waiting on that.

@JenAWhite I’m up in Canada and we have had extreme cold warnings for over the last week (think -40 windchill). Might actually get over freezing this week! Hopefully it comes your way too. 🤞4 -

@shaunarlr83 Shoot I hope you find a rink! I'm so glad you had the chance to see your aunt before tomorrow, sending prayers and love to you all. You need to march in that gym and grunt and throw things around like the boys! I'm teasing, the first gym I went to as a teen it was like that and I was scared to go in the weight room unless I went in the middle of the night.
@trooworld Chinese food and sodium aren't our friends when it comes to the scale, bet it tasted amazing though! That salad sounds and looks amazing!

@megnolia82 Oh no, I hope this new antibiotic takes the infection down, sounds like you had a frightening night. Are you doing any of the pre/probiotic stuff yet or do you have to wait until after the antibiotic works? The healthy diet will come and hopefully get you back to feeling healthier fast, frustrating the first antibiotic didn't work.
Hi team! I spent the morning at the food bank farm greenhouse at the high school and we got a lot done, it's fun to see all the seedlings coming in. I did a short cardio and abs workout then did seeds and came home and worked in my yard for awhile. It's raining and I'm having hormone issues so pain's way up, I just got out of the tub and am off to lay down. Have a great Saturday friends!

I’m taking a probiotic now. I couldn’t tolerate it when I was on my last antibiotic so I started after that round of meds was done. I hope i can keep taking it now. So far so good!
Your volunteer (?) work sounds amazing! What a great idea, i know our high schools have greenhouses, I wonder if they do something similar.1
