Feels like an awesome win to me! Was it a good show? Happy pre birthday!0
-
Very good show - and the space was very nice with surprisingly great sound. Sort of like a cozy legion hall - with some very odd things around the edges of the room showing its age. Apparently this space has been used by the "Oddfellows" for 150 years. Certainly added some atmosphere2

Same daily weight- within ounces- for over a week. How does that happen when eating has been all over the place. Guess I shouldn’t question stability?1
-
I have never experienced that, Yooly? It would boggle my mind2
-
as long as the homeostatic urge is same or lower, I wouldn't ask too many questions! The problems start when it is always pointing UPwards!2
-
My scale keeps going up - my left breast, who I've now named Magdalena, the one with 1/3 supposedly removed, is considerably larger than the right (as of yet no name). So at least I know where the weight is. Perhaps plastic surgeon game me the wrong surgery? Breast enhancement????2
-
I would not be THAT concerned about the weight right now! Hopefully Magdalena will start behaving better and become a less problematic member of the whole!1
-
I'm not bothered by it - just observing2

So my experiment with lighter meals interspersed with snacks seems to be working. Down a pound and it’s lasted three days. Hope this week continues the downward trend.
With my initial weight loss it was all about controlling meals and nothing in between. After three years of stability I still want to lose a bit more but need to rethink what will work now.2 -
Great detective work, Yooly! How do you feel eating this way (other than the jubilation over losing that pounds )?1
-
Another pound gone this morning. Will it last???
Today started at the gym at 5:30am. Then breakfast. To be followed by some mad carpet shampooing because we’re in the midst of open-your-windows season. If I work it right, carpets will be dry by pm. And I’ll be one very tired old lady! And the one pound will stay gone.2 -
Another pound gone this morning. Will it last???
It's gone, done, don't look for it! Goneee
Meanwhile, on the Balkan front, had another maintenance appointment & BIA. Results were good!
Seems like I've been pretty stable these last three months. Also, no muscle loss this time. I'll take it!

Great going there Dante!2
-
CONGRATULATIONS, Yooly!!!! Finally those 3 pounds know YOU are the leader of this parade. Can't tell you how happy it made me to read your post.
Dante - I love these reports. It feels like I'm looking at Futureman. You ARE Futureman Congratulations to you, too.
Today is a good day for the Larger Losers
Come check in, PAV.
AND CONNIE?????!!!!!!!1 -
AND Alexandra, Bella and any other lurkers! At least say hi 👋2
-
2 -
The pav report? At least it's stable!😝
According to self belief it should be -11, actual paper estimates say -3.5lbs, and the scale says -1.5🤷♂️
At this rate we'll be here next year 🤔, oh wait, that's part of the goal for me ❣️🤣1 -
Yay! I hope we are all "here" next year I've got a long way to go (again )1
-
That is some hearty breakfast PAV! Hope that counts as two meals or sharing with a friend? If you you keep getting those kinds of meals, you definitely need to be here full time and into the future. I know I do too.
Today in celebration of going to the gym and shampooing carpets I indulged a bit too much on a couple of cookies and a two chocolate truffles in addition to regular meals. I fear the lost pound will find me tomorrow 😱1 -
May that lost pound be sucked into the carpet shampooer to be gone forevermore.
I imagine that PAV can get away with breakfasts like that - he has a healthy calorie allowance, that lucky dog! Let's guess calories. I'm guessing 800. What do you think, Yooly?2 -
Let’s see - eggs 150, bacon 150, toast dry 200 or buttered 300, fried potatoes 250. I’m thinking around 800-900 calories? Could be an extra bacon hiding or more potatoes than estimated.
PAVs calorie allowance is 💪pretty high. Unlike us fragile flowers 🌹who only get 1300-1600 calories a day. Unfortunately I could easily compete with PAV in an eating competition.2 -
Pav went on to hook up with Dad, and so is now sitting comfortably above maintenance with 3.5 hours to go and a projected burn of 3100 with 3330 eaten. However, he has not taken out the dog yet today, and she ought to be good for 2-300 Cal unless I get caught on emails or MFP!
So definitely no deficit today. But I might be able to rescue the day....maybe🤔2 -
Oh, MFP killed the post. But I love how much of one mind everybody was.
Toast was absolutely dry and the whole thing was logged at 813 Cal before ketchup... and 903 WITH. Ketchup not shown!😝1 -
Yooly and I are pretty darned good!
And even more - I really like this game.
Perhaps it is something we can do regularly?
It would be a very good exercise for the meal poster (who will have to be exact on the measuring of their meal) and those of us who guess.
That was a fair bit of ketchup, PAV! Worthy of a grilled cheese....0 -
Today my scale smiled at me. I'm just a hair below where I was the day before the birthday celebrations started (a good nine days before the actual birthday ). So the extra weight from two weekends of festive eating and a surgery are wiped clean from the slate. Not too bad!
The "treat" cravings of course have come back full force. They will take longer to pass than the 6 extra pounds that were bouncing around.
I WILL win this competition for control of the fork because waking up in the morning after a day of well controlled eating feels so much better than the other option.2 -
Well, no rescues last night as I ended up in emails and then decided to go to bed instead of a walk! And.... +1 lb on scale and +2 bpm in Fitbit resting heart rate! 🖕 Oops, I mean ☝️🤔😝0
-
Ah...give it that finger, PAV.1
-
Well... scale will be a mess as a consequence... but BUNNIES have been deployed!
14 full bunnies are in play today! 500g beets (rough cubed after nuking), 600g peas and carrots, 100g onion. About a third of it found its way in the tom yum shrimp flavor noodle soup...2 -
must have looked like a bunny massacre with all those beets!!!!2
-
You're.... correct! The next third went away as a salad! With 2.5 to 3g olive oil and 15g raspberry vinegar! Plus Skyflake crackers! (The plain variety, so think of it as a premium plus with less salt). That was a bloody mess too, color wise!
Last third will be with either salad or kimchi noodles or maybe lentil brown rice pouch... not sure yet which yet! Plus at least 100g of Greek yogurt to >100% all protein intakes2
