Ended up going to urgent care while visiting my daughter over the weekend. Luckily she's a nurse and was able to get me in where she works. Turned out I had a massive ear infection which explains why I was more deaf than usual. Five days into antibiotics I'm finally starting to hear a little and can breathe a little better. I've been sleeping in rather than getting up and riding my bike in the morning so there went my exercise calorie allowance. Will be stepping gingerly onto the scale tomorrow and peeking with one eye closed.

@DaffyGirl88 Glad to hear you are on the mend, Sue! Sleeping in is what your body needed to do to fight the infection. Soon enough you will feel like yourself again and your morning routines can resume. So don't beat yourself up tomorrow.2

@DaffyGirl88 ouch! I’m glad you went to the doctor, Sue! Great to have a nurse in the family. I hope you get well soon, but sleep if your body is wanting to sleep. I just found out recently that your body heals during sleep, so listen to your body. 💐2

Tuesday after our concert in Florence my good knee buckled and I went flying off the last step. Luckily a parent reached out her arm and broke my fall! I sprained my foot and then got pickpocketed as soon as I returned to Rome. They got my phone, the little buggers. 🙄😣 So my pictures are limited to Germany on Saturday and Rome on Sunday and Monday. Others took pics and shared them with me so it’s all good.
We sang for the pope on Wednesday. I wasn’t about to miss that opportunity! I forced that sprained foot into my tennis shoe and had a teacher on both arms to drag me up the two flights of stairs to where we sang. 😆 So if I look like I’m in pain in the pope pic it’s because my foot was killing me. 😆
Amazing! That looks like the trip of a lifetime1 -

Happy April!! I’ll be 66 on Thursday 🤗
We went to the theater to see His Only Son. It was really powerful! ✝️💜 Then we had Mexican food & I did really well limiting myself on the carb part. I had just a little refried beans & a tiny amount of rice. I did eat several tortilla chips though 😩 Then I ended up taking a 4-hour nap. That’s more than I sleep some nights! I guess I needed it.2 -
