@jugar I'd like to push my weigh in until tomorrow. Some food has not transited out as I had hoped! 😉
We are still without power, but our generator is giving us heat from the pellet stove and entertainment as the tv and internet are still working. We have a gas stove so we can cook on the stovetop and boil water for dishes. I've started using my dishwasher as the drying rack!
We helped a neighbor chop up a few fallen trees yesterday and then I played hockey. I slept 10 hours last night to recover.
This is the main pile of wood we created.
We had power flash back on for a few seconds last night and then go out again because a branch about 10 houses away from us had cut the line and broken the ceramic insulator right off the top of the pole. When I came home from hockey the first half of our street had power and then the trees under where the wire was cut were on fire!
Not the clearest photo.
There was enough snow to catch the embers so it didn't spread.
So now we wait. We are low priority and it's a specialist repair so we will be doing sponge baths and eating pasta for some time still.
I'm doing my best to keep drinking water although it's in limited supply.
I might be adding to the red for the week unfortunately but I'm ok with it given the circumstances. 👌🙂7 -

CW: 219.8Hello everybodyRegardless, I’m always optimistic to get to my goal someday.. right now I just need to lose these 16 pounds to get back to prepreggo weight.. any tips or fav meal suggestions would be greatly appreciated 😁
My name is Diana, 35, I’m an optometrist by day and a boy mommy every other second 😁
I’ve struggled with my weight pretty much my entire life. Lost a big chunk about 10 years ago and kept most of it off for about 8 years. After having baby boy 17 months ago… have been struggling to get it back off big time!
I should clarify even at my lowest I still had to lose quite a bit, but I just feel like now I’m even further from my goal. I know my life is totally different now, but I’ve just found it so much tougher this time around. I’m just really not enjoying tracking and planning. I got myself a peloton which has been a great investment as I don’t have time to go to a gym, but can workout right after baby falls asleep at night right at home.

@jugar please can I have a pass week this week
Also, I have a friend who would like to join the group, is it too late for this month and how would she go about it? Thanks.3 -
This has NOT been a good eating day - only one food was the transgression, but I ate it ALL. I hate it when that happens. You know it is poisoning your body for the day, it is not any kind of a gift to tomorrow self, but you still keep eating it until it is gone. Luckily, it is now gone. That food is now on my list of things not to get at all for a while. I try to avoid complete refusals, but this one has to go. I have not had a binge event like that for a long time, and it surely was not fun. I know there has been a lot of stress lately, but this certainly did not help relive the stress in any way! Luckily, it gave me a thorough pants-kicking, and then I was able to practice, do some stretching, and get ready to plan tomorrow very thoroughly. Sheesh.
SO - I hope you are all doing OK! Let's find good ways to deal with stuff together.6 -
@PlaneMonkey I hope your power is back on - those photos are amazing, but it sure looks like you have had quite a time of it!

Greetings from a little farmhouse apartment in the woods outside Haliburton, Ontario!
@jugar @PlaneMonkey My brother and his fiancee live in Montreal so I was hearing a bit about your crazy weather and power issues.. I've never been in a period of prolonged power outage so I can't imagine what that would be like
@micki48 YAY! Congrats to your son. This must be such a huge relief for you.
We are here in Ontario until Monday. We haven't seen Brad's Mom since Thanksgiving and she had a health scare early this year, so it's great catching up. We also are seeing a bunch of his other family that we haven't seen in a while. It's been nice.
I forgot my travel scale, so unlike me. But then again, sorta par for the course in my less disciplined mind right now. Steps are always low on these trips because we are sitting visiting with his elderly mother. I could make a better plan, but I usually fail to here.
Hope everyone has a great Easter weekend!6 -

I will admit I struggle with getting my veggies in… unless it’s salad, zucchini, broccoli or corn.. I don’t like it, but I need to remind myself I can just rotate those I do like frequently. I always feel like I need to be trying something new or making something new and when I don’tI get upset and then buy something out! Double whammy bad6 -

Wow I’m honestly amazed at this change as I did not expect it. I have managed to go to the gym a few times this week. I am also trying to manage my food intake but it’s so hard with the kids being home plus the tons of Easter eggs available.
I had to sell my rowing machine after I got it. I realised I didn’t do my research well and it’s always best to go for the air rower even though they cost more. I got one that uses resistance ropes and I couldn’t even adjust the resistance.
I have substituted it for an assault bike and I will replace the rowing machine with a better one next week🤞🏻7 -

Apologies @jugar for being a day behind. I had this typed up and then the day got away from me because I was traveling in the afternoon out of state.
Overall, from my plan to pre-log my meals, it did go well except for desserts. I will definitely need to pre-log those too and make sure I am sticking to my plan. Since I am traveling this weekend, I have also already looked at the menus of places we’re going out to eat, and have pre-logged those for this weekend. Even if I am over my calories, I’m trying to limit by how much by trying to focus on protein-rich foods or limited fried foods.
I’m planning my workouts for the week as well, and so far I have:
4/8 - Rest day - celebrate my mom’s birthday!
4/9 - Total Body Workout @ Hotel AM
4/10 - Arms & Abs HIIT
4/11 - Spin Class @ Gym
4/12 - Rest Day/Long Walk/Stretching
4/13 - Legs and Abs HIIT
4/14 - Upper Body & Cardio
4/15 - Strength Class @ Gym
4/16 - Yoga/Stretching
Hoping I can stick with it because I’ve been getting better at 5 days a week with workouts.7 -

I believe I am up a tiny bit. I’m moving. Feeling less stress, but I guess more appetite.
I haven’t been getting my usual sleep scores. Lots of waking in the middle of the night and can’t fall back to sleep. I e also been sooooo tired, I’m going up to bed much earlier. My whole sleep pattern is off for now.
The sun is shining, I have boxes 📦 calling my name as well as Easter 🐣 eggs 🥚 to dye and I believe I promised my granddaughter we’d bake a cake. 😬
Have a great weekend friends!6 -
@cleaneater80 Thanks for rooting for my son. I so appreciate it. ❤️2

I just found out this week that my gallbladder needs to be removed - not too many issues thankfully but wasn’t feeling the greatest the last few days maybe it’s in my head but it helped with some weight loss this week! 🙃 I will take what I can get and I’m so close to being in the 150’s again!
Happy Easter everyone!!6 -
Happy Saturday!
It is a gorgeous sunny day, even if quite cold - I really have to get outside more today. It will help my brain. I'm on track so far (hah! only breakfast) for a perfect day, so hold me to it. After yesterday, I need some cobweb sweeping out of my brain.
@ashleycarole86 I'm glad you're having a visit with Brad's mom - I hope the sun is shining there too. You're closer to me now, and then I'll be closer to you as of next Thursday! I'm flying into Edmonton and will be around until the 25th. Maybe we can do a meet halfway thing again, if your work schedule and other stuff is not too much. Or maybe my daughter feels like a day in Calgary And @cleaneater80 aren't you in Edmonton? It would be fun to meet if you're around. My daughter lives in Wainwright, but we will be doing city things when I arrive and the day before I leave. Let me know!
@zankash23 good luck with your rowing machine - that is smart to return it if it is not a good match. Otherwise you'll never use it, and who needs another dust-catching piece of equipment? Great job on the 2 pound loss too! We sure need that kind of green this week
@carlsoda you too! Good loss this week. Gallbladder stuff always sounds awful - but if it helps you stick with the good eating, maybe it isn't so bad Keep us posted on the surgery and all. I hope it all resolves quickly and easily.
Out with me! The sun beckons.5 -

Been a rough week as a caregiver of a very restless 93 yr old and today was the pinnacle - short story dad now has a rug burn on his forehead - I have had a glass of wine but have followed it with, instead of two more glasses, some flavored seltzer I picked up, just as good in my glass. Otherwise, not been TOO terrible with my eating - having boiled eggs and roasted veggies prepped and in the fridge makes it easy to grab something quick = I often need something quickly!
Before all the drama, we did get out for a great big walk...even into the peaceful woods.
It's just the beginning of April folks...I feel we can finish the month strong.6 -
@carlsoda gallbladder issues are so much more common than you would think. My mother and sister as well as several of my girlfriends have had theirs out. No side effects for anyone. Let us know when your surgery is happening, we will be your cheering squad!
@eggfreak you are so smart with the seltzer and having food prepped and ready. You've got this! 💜💜5
