After the March challenge I will be stepping down. This was a very hard decision. I have been a motivator then on to captain since I joined F2F. When the Downsizers team was formed, I moved from my previous team and became captain. I have had memory issues since I had Covid the first time. It has slowly gotten worse over time. As it has now started causing me to make mistakes or forget to do things within the group so it was time. There are several things affecting my memory. We are working to improve what we can and develop coping strategies. I am staying with the team and looking forward to your support as I attempt to lose these last 10 pounds. I will still be here to cheer you on.
Thank you for allowing me to be apart of your weight loss journey.
Linda
Thank you for all your hard work! It’s much appreciated but health and wellness should come first before everything. Focus on you and we will be here to support you!! Will Megan be covering it all or someone new
Megan will and she is looking for a co captain. It is a very rewarding job. Thanks for all your support!3 -

Thanks Megan. I certainly loved working with you. I think we made a pretty good team. Now it’s your job to kick me in the butt if I stumble. I always felt being a captain was one of the things that helped with my weight loss.2 -

Very nice loss! Great choice this morning. Friday I was having a lot of anxiety and couldn’t eat. That was something that never happened to me before. Fast forward to today and it’s the exact opposite. It’s not even noon and I have already got into peanut butter cookies. Stress and anxiety does weird things to our bodies. One of my favourite quotes says that food is the most overused anxiety medication and exercise is the most underutilized antidepressant. It is so true. Let us know how you made out the rest of the day.2 -

Hope your day is going well!

Thanks. I think it has been 5 years that I was either Captain or motivator. It has been a big part of keeping me on my journey even when I struggled.0 -
