Hello Everyone, My name is Marie
I've been on this weight loss journey a long time. Would see loss and then something happened and I would gain the weight back. This time I hope to break the cycle, once and for all. I realize it gets harder to change bad eating habits as you age (I'm 61); However, I have improved a lot through motivation and determination to finally reach a healthy weight and lifestyle.
Thanks for allowing me to join your awesome group for the month of June, look forward to getting to know you all.

Hi all! Hope you are having an amazing day. Can’t wait for Sunday. I need to get back to trying to lose 10 more pounds. I realize now when peo0le say losing the last 10 pounds is hard they are so right. I think the month off was something I definitely needed. No word on a surgery date yet. I just want to get it over. I booked a cruise for November and I am very excited. Never been on one before.

I am going to change my weigh in day to Wednesday. My weight from yesterday is posted below. For the step challenge, I am going to change my step goal to 4000. I am not getting much walking as my left knee is acting up. Thanks!

Forgot to post this morning. All seated workouts again; follow-up appointment for my knee is scheduled for Tuesday. I also have a physical next week, so had blood work done. My cholesterol levels are still over the norm, but have had a significant decrease, which I'm happy to see. I was also slightly high in Chloride and slightly Low in Protein Serum. My ortho doctor had me on 600 mg of ibuprofen 3 times a day. According to what I found, that would affect these two blood chemistries. I also saw that that much ibuprofen will make you retain water - maybe that's why I haven't lost weight for the last couple weeks? In any case, my two weeks are up so stopped taking today. We'll see how things play out.

HI everyone! I am so grateful to be joining y'all next month!
I have a lot of changes coming up in the next year- including a possible move from Canada to the USA for school. I really need to get my weight down to be able to do things that I want to do in life. My mobility has really gotten bad over the last few years and I weighed in and nearly got an error on my scale.... 401lb is the highest I have ever been and I can't believe it happened. I really feel powerless and I wanted to join a friendly, motivating group/challenge to try and keep me going.
I am just going to take it one meal at a time and not think about the bigger picture right now because it is so overwhelming.
Today I had 3 meals- one of which was pizza of all things, but I alloted them into my daily calories and still had some left to spare. I am trying to deal with night hunger and boredom. Tonight is hard. But I am going to have some water and head to bed. Tomorrow is a brand new day.
I am so excited to be here! I can't wait to get to know you all!4 -

Good evening, everyone! Welcome @yodaloo88, @rebecca0025, @start090, @ZaraMarie61 (BIG apologies if I missed anyone!) I have been pretty hit and miss the last six weeks or so, but tomorrow is the biggest day of the year on my work calendar. Woo hoo! I am SO ready to be on the other side and lock in on some real progress over here in June! Aiming to be sub-145 by the end of the month.2

This last few pounds is so blooming hard! I'm really struggling with being at home and away from the rv! Far too much socialising with 6 parties/ days out in the last 10 days!
Next week looks better with just one birthday party!
I've started taking an early morning walk to avoid the Spanish sun. Just 3000 steps but that's an extra 21000 a week! Can't wait for the swimming pool to open!2 -
