I like my name. It used to be very unique, meaning only one or two might come up if you googled it, but now it's gotten more popular. My name is Charissa Lynn. My sister named me.

HI everyone! I am so grateful to be joining y'all next month!
I have a lot of changes coming up in the next year- including a possible move from Canada to the USA for school. I really need to get my weight down to be able to do things that I want to do in life. My mobility has really gotten bad over the last few years and I weighed in and nearly got an error on my scale.... 401lb is the highest I have ever been and I can't believe it happened. I really feel powerless and I wanted to join a friendly, motivating group/challenge to try and keep me going.
I am just going to take it one meal at a time and not think about the bigger picture right now because it is so overwhelming.
Today I had 3 meals- one of which was pizza of all things, but I alloted them into my daily calories and still had some left to spare. I am trying to deal with night hunger and boredom. Tonight is hard. But I am going to have some water and head to bed. Tomorrow is a brand new day.
I am so excited to be here! I can't wait to get to know you all!4 -

Good evening, everyone! Welcome @yodaloo88, @rebecca0025, @start090, @ZaraMarie61 (BIG apologies if I missed anyone!) I have been pretty hit and miss the last six weeks or so, but tomorrow is the biggest day of the year on my work calendar. Woo hoo! I am SO ready to be on the other side and lock in on some real progress over here in June! Aiming to be sub-145 by the end of the month.2

This last few pounds is so blooming hard! I'm really struggling with being at home and away from the rv! Far too much socialising with 6 parties/ days out in the last 10 days!
Next week looks better with just one birthday party!
I've started taking an early morning walk to avoid the Spanish sun. Just 3000 steps but that's an extra 21000 a week! Can't wait for the swimming pool to open!2 -

I admitted to my wife yesterday that the reason I wasn't losing weight was because I wasn't prioritizing exercise and she was very supportive and understanding (given how hard I work and how little sleep) which was motivating but she also challenged me to rethink my priorities so this morning I did my first walk around the neighborhood in weeks. It was great except for stepping on all the dead cicadas (yuck!).4 -

The last few pounds are hard. Keep on making little changes like your walk to offered the challenges of not being in the tv.

I am about to set up the step challenge for June...If anyone is interested in joining please give your name and a step pledge you plan to hit daily or weekly whatever is easiest for you ... I will always remind the people that I need steps from at the end of the week2

What's your favorite way to spend a lazy day?
Well I spend a lot of time on the couch since I am injured...my daughter and I watch tv, movies, laugh talk etc1 -
