@TeresaW2024 - love your pic- both your dear ones are looking good!
@laurelfit57 - I LOVE the pictures you take of your dogs. Your two are quite the characters.
@Jactop - you win the prize for the date story! Ugh!

@trooworld We do have Tajin. I will have to try it! I hope all goes well with the dietician. What are the next steps after this visit? Don’t let that number on the scale derail you. You know that after that dinner and weighing in your PJs it wasn’t an accurate weight. That is a good question. I’m glad you are making us think.
@Jactop Your discussion question answer shows how much obesity can damage every area of our lives. What a cute story about you and your husband. Never heard of someone draining pasta water in the toilet before.
Good morning! Today, I plan to work out (leg day!), go to the office, and make an Aldi trip. I will buy some salmon for dinner and have it with mushroom risotto and air fryer red potatoes. My sister is driving four hours (which is halfway) to pick up her 14-year-old granddaughter and visit for a couple of weeks. We are all excited to see her!
Question: How does your weight affect your health? So many good answers to this hard question.
I remember talking about my weight with my mother when I was 12 years old. It’s been a lifelong battle that I’ve lost time and time again. Many of you know that a couple of years ago I had reached the 80 lb loss with only 10 lbs to go before I reached goal. I had never looked and felt so good. Gaining the weight back brings all the self-loathing, frustrations, and sugar addictions. Obesity hurts my feet, knees, and back. I can’t fit into my closet full of clothes. Going back to 2X tops after being on the edge of wearing medium sizes is heartbreaking. But I will NEVER give up! I want that feeling back, and by God, I will get it!!

Hi guys, sorry I hadn't posted my weigh in. Been very busy with kids activities and dealing with feeling sickly and fatigued. But glad to find out what is wrong, I got my bloodwork results and it turns out there an issue with my thyroid levels. I am getting more tests done and taking my health journey more serious. Almost went over 200s lbs again but didnt stop tracking and now getting back down. Not giving up!6 -

Better late than never on my intro:
My name is Jennifer and I’m a single 50 year old. I have an American Blue rabbit (her name is Kismet). I have 3 children in their 20s – oldest is my son, Marcus (granddaughter Sophie is 1), then my daughter Sydney (grandson Oliver is 3 1/2 months), and my youngest daughter Hunter (grandson Byron is 1 year & due with baby girl Brayden on 6/10/24). I love to rubber stamp (I’m a Stampin’ Up demo) and make cards. I'm an active member of my church, and also love horror movies. I have worked in Community Development at my County for 19 years.
I have always been a yo-yo dieter, but mainly up. When I lose weight, I can never seem to keep it off for longer than a year. Currently I am down 19 pounds and have 46 to go.
I am having a very hard time losing weight during this high stress season in my life. My youngest daughter and grandson are living with me temporarily (her husband is abusive) while I work full time Monday through Friday during the day and watch my 3 ½ month old grandson Wednesday through Saturday from the time I get home from my actual job until about 11pm. I am physically and emotionally exhausted, but I’m managing. And I see my therapist on a regular basis, so that’s helping a lot. I keep reminding myself that all this is temporary. Syd will find alternative day care. Hunter, Byron and Brayden will eventually get their own place. And Kismet and I will go back to our quiet existence in the evenings…for the most part LOL.
2024 Mantra: Yes, I can!6 -
I got so far behind, that I just have to jump in…but I do have to tell you Darren @19shmoo69 that I totally read, “How y’all durin’?” exactly as you meant it! Hahahaha
@TeresaW2024 – What a sweet picture of Joe and Maggie MaeYour answer to the question could’ve been written by me. I had gotten down to size medium, too, and now back to 1X. So depressing. We CAN and we WILL get the weight off and get that feeling back!
@trooworld – Hugs on the weigh in yesterday. Pretty soon this will be a distant memory! I finally got around to making that pasta recipe you shared – it was a hit! Hunter picked out the peas, but ate the rest. My DIL loved it. And it passed the Sophie & Byron test, tooMy arugula went bad, so I just added a handful of romaine to the basil. I couldn’t find fusilli pasta, so I used rigatoni. The large pasta took up more space, so it felt like a huge portion, too. Thank you! Here’s the recipe for anyone that wants it:

DISCUSSION QUESTION: How does your weight affect your health?
I take a low dose blood pressure medicine. When I’m at goal weight, my blood pressure is perfect and I don’t need the medicine. At 50 lbs extra? Not so perfect. I feel my heart beat way too fast/hard sometimes and it scares me. Also I am completely out of breath going up 2 flights of stairs at work. I take these steps every day (cuz the elevator sucks). It’s embarrassing.

Weigh In Wednesday

I'll check back in later.4 -
OUCH this hits home. So in 2012 I lost 65lb, had my little girl in 2025 lost 80lbs after her and got to a sub 20% body fat 135lbs. Started a bulk in late 2018, her dad got sick 2019, covid 2020, he died 2021 and now I'm back to my start weight from both those times.
Mentally it sucks. I feel horrid. My energy is gone I had gained. I was obese my whole life. My spartan injuries hurt worse bc now I have weight on them. Screw dating bc between my neurodiversities, my daughters, and well being fat nope nope nope. Self esteem is 0. My fitness is back to nothing.
My BP and sugar are fine but my cholesterol is borderline it stays level to my weight. So 210lb me has 203 cholesterol.
DISCUSSION QUESTION: How does your weight affect your health?
My answer: I picked this one because it hits home today. My weight is now affecting all areas of my health: my friendships (I can't go hiking with one of my best friends), my sex life (I feel so unattractive), and my general health. My arthritis in my knee is worse because of my weight and I feel like I am losing my mobility. My foot problems partially stem from my weight. It's time to do something.

And sigh I did so good loosing the first week but not sure it's gonna count for the team since it seemed to be between challenges when I joined / weighed in last week.1

How is everyone doing? I am doing well. Bible study was good yesterday. There was a whole lot of toe stomping. Much needed in my case. I want to remind all of you Slimpossible Teamsters that summer is right around the corner. Please remember to stay hydrated. If you are not like me then stay shaded and cool. Have a blessed rest of the day. Just so you know, you have been prayed for today.6

WEIGH-IN UPDATE
WEIGH-INS DUE NOW: @Megnolia82 @AyaTheTyga @rj230
Reminder for Tomorrow's Weigh In: @askewcr @tfelts1470 -
@gemwolf110 Great job on tracking and exercise!
@AustinRuadhain Thank you, I'm hoping he works through what he's going through, I care about him enough that instead of writing him off I'm open to talking and told others that so he'd know I'm safe to approach and won't start yelling but he has to take the next move. I definitely feel your response to how your weight effects your health I absolutely hate pics of me too! It IS real sad as those who love us don't judge us so harshly. Dang you're hitting all the check marks today go you!
@reshii_devi Happy to see you! Way to go on No Zero Days and logging that's great news! Losing almost 90lbs and reversing pre-diabetes is awesome, I wish I'd taken the “pre” as seriously as you.
@DrewsAnna Great job on day 4 of the walk plan! What kind of watch did you get? Extra crunches is a good way to go, honestly yanking up and down for full sit-ups is discouraged with back issues. I did the crunches and for the sit-ups did side crunches and I'm feeling it.
@TeresaW2024 Yummy dinner I wish I lived near you! I definitely get that feeling of loathing for gaining weight back, I felt like that too after hitting goal and swearing I'd never gain it back then was put on steroids and was up 50lbs. Frustrating as we're so much more than our bodies. I think you WILL get that feeling back!
@trooworld That's great news on both the dietitian and us supporting you I'm glad to hear that. WOW congratulations on surgery this year that's awesome! Haha I'm sure your husband is just trying to be helpful but yeah he deserves a wedgie for that! It's all those little changes that add up and make the difference then having less hunger signals after surgery will be great.
@littlebabekitty I'm glad you got answers and hope they help balance your thyroid, that definitely makes sense why you were worn out. You'll get back down I believe it you!
@vegan4lyfe2012 You're holding together a lot right now I don't know how you do it! You're an amazing Mom and Grandma. Your dish looks awesome it's on my list of ones I want to make. I'm proud of you for taking the steps even if you're out-of-breath doing it, shows you aren't done fighting for better health!
@sunflowerhippi I'm sorry to hear how low you're feeling, I understand that feeling but just so you know my first impression of you during Mac's Zooms were that you were so pretty, friendly, funny, and strong. If I was feeling shy about going to the Zooms thinking of being with you all helped and I was in a bad relationship during Covid and going through hell medically so it means a lot to me that I was able to talk to all of you. I hope we can all support each other to being happier about our health and outlooks soon.
@19shmoo69 I'm good glad to hear you are too! Good advice when it's in the 90s today to hydrate! Sending a prayer up for you too!
HI team! Long day, I went to the farm this morning and work and did a treatment and an ionic foot bath then came home for 45 minutes and headed to Sacramento for a pain clinic appointment. Thankfully next month is nearby so I won't have to go so far. Not much else going on. Have a great night and awesome Thursday!4 -
Daily Post ~ Wednesday
Track ~ Yes- Day 29
Calories ~ over
Exercise ~ none
Family is in town. Got the pre-birthday festivities going on.5 -
Daily Check-In
🟢 kitchen pushups/squats
🟢 morning walk
🟢 45 minute exercise - went bicycling!
🟢 measure & log all food
🟢 nutritarian food plan (ate plants)
🟢 Met calorie goal (not too much)
I went for a 60-minute bicycle ride. Well, sort of. I had the bike with me the whole time, but I walked up a couple of hills on the way back. I expect to sleep well tonight. It was 95F and sunny, and I was drenched when I got home.
I also, apropos the discussion about places that weight stops me, made an appt for an annual physical, as it has been a while.
@gemwolf110 - Enjoy! And give yourself credit for any "better bad choices" that you make. Sometimes knowing I did a little bit of damage control makes me so much happier after a thing like that.
@Katmary71 - I had not heard of an ionic foot bath, and I now kinda want one. Go, you, for taking good care of yourself!
@sunflowerhippi - I don't know about the deadlines for the end of last month and the start of this, but congratulations on your great results! Go, you!
@DrewsAnna - I am off to do my abs now! I was aiming f9or midday, but today was crazy.4 -
@katmary so glad that somebody thinks I will always be cool lol! I don't think I could stand being around anybody all the time like that! That's a lot of stress! I planted 5 San Marzano and 1 Sweet Million (small tomatoes). Some for just eating and the San Marzano will be got salsa in the fall:)
@AustinRuadhain to me, 90° is unbearably hot L O L. Sounds like your food choices were bang on today, I didn't get my abs done today either:(.
@DrewsAnna awww thanks, my fur babies sure keep me entertained.
I can't do situps either, they are not good for my back. Sounds like your temperature for the next week is going to be my perfect temperature!
@Cornanda I don't have a husband or kids to keep me entertained so my pups are my entertainment lol
@TeresaW2024 your dinner sounds delicious! I'll bet you are going to have fun with your great niece!
@trooworld that is exciting to even just be able to think about a date for your surgery. I'm hoping the time flies for you! Boo on having to miss one of the festive meals, but I'm sure it will be well worth it! Sometimes our loved ones can be so annoying with their "helpful advice"
I got the rest of the tomato plants planted my clematis planted. The clematis were so twisted and grown together it took me over three hours to get them untangled😜. Everything now is planted all I have to do is water and fertilize. I was planning on getting a lot done today, by the time I finished getting the planting done it was time to head out for agility. Vannie and I did two classes today, we are both pooped! I was able to stay on track with food and I got all my steps in. I was planning on going to the gym tomorrow, but now I have to finish what I was planning on getting done today. I got a phone call from my cousin last night and she wants to Overnight here on the weekend, I need to get my house cleaned for company lol3 -
@Katmary71 I'm getting a Garmin Venu SQ, It should arrive on Friday, I'm so excited.... 😃🙂
@AustinRuadhain I just did my day 2, I can't do sit ups so I substitute with extra crunches.
Hi everyone,
I had another good sort of. Somehow, I was all full of energy and the next thing I know, I'm tired as tired can. I laid down for about 20-30 minutes and then I felt better. I finished day #5 of my walk at home plan, and I finished day #2 of the challenge. I substituted sit ups for extra crunches, different types. My food was on point. I was so scared to weigh in this morning, and I was just hoping for a loss. I absolutely did not expect to see a 2 lb loss. That was motivating and encouraging.
Y'all have a great rest of your evening, TTYL.....4 -
Good morning Slims
It's foggy this morning. I had to leave my bicycle at work yesterday. I cycled to work in the morning, but there were major thunderstorms in the afternoon, so I called Rich to come bring me home. They're calling for more thunderstorms today. I'll drive to work, and bring the bike home on the back of car tonight.
I've done my strength training workout, and I'm heading off shortly for my morning walk. I hope the rain holds off, and I can walk at lunch.
Make today a great day everyone!

Thursday Ice Breaker Question.
WHAT IS YOU FAVORITE PLACE ( TO VISIT, TO VACATION OR IT MAY BE ON YOUR BUCKET LIST)
You don't have to give three answers but I'm going to.
I like visiting where I grew up.
Panama City Beach, Florida is the only vacation spot I want or need.
One of these I would like to visit Japan.3 -
@trooworld, I get your frustration with your husband. Joe would and still does occasionally try to “help” me know everything I need to know. They mean well, and that is what we have to remember.I’m excited for you, and of course, you have thought it all through.
@littlebabekitty There is Nothing like blood work to show us how seriously we need to take our health. Good for you for continuing to track, and of course, you will never give up! That isn’t an option, is it?
@vegan4lyfe2012 I am glad to see you checking in. That little Brayden is taking her sweet time, isn’t she? You know I’m praying for you and I know you will hang tough and get through this time of stress.
@Katmary71 I wish you lived near me, too!
@AustinRuadhain Biking for an hour in 95-degree weather is some kind of crazy! I admire you.
@laurelfit57 My house always looks its best when company is coming. I love clematis, but it is a pain. We had it at my old house, and it took over most of the fence line.
@DrewsAnna Congrats on your two-pound loss!
Good morning! I'm sitting here watching the 80th Anniversary of the D-Day ceremony. It's very moving to think about what all those young men did to preserve our country and the world. Today my niece and all the kids are coming for lunch. Mom is buying pizza for us all so that will be my main meal for the day. My fasting is getting easier but I still have to cut out the snacking. I usually play with my puzzle when Joe naps and then I will go into the kitchen to hunt something down. I’m going to buy the WOW drops that I told vegan4lyfe about and see if that will curb my behavior.
Thursday Ice Breaker Question.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PLACE ( TO VISIT, TO VACATION OR IT MAY BE ON YOUR BUCKET LIST)
My favorite place is Savannah, GA. The historic part of the city is amazing, with its many squares of Live Oaks dripping in Spanish moss, incredible architecture, and amazing food. Joe and I were married and honeymooned there. We went back on our 10th anniversary, which was just two months before we got the cancer diagnosis, and so much of our lives were changed forever. I hope someday I will take another trip there with my sister and show her all the beauty that the city has to offer.

Thursday Ice Breaker Question.
WHAT IS YOU FAVORITE PLACE (TO VISIT, TO VACATION OR IT MAY BE ON YOUR BUCKET LIST)
I like to visit places I grew up too. It's neat to see how much things have changed. Funny how things seem bigger. I guess it's because I was a little person back then...hehehe.
One of my favorite vacations was Gulf Shores, Alabama. I loved the mile long fishing pier into the gulf. I heard that a hurricane took it out since we've been there last. I hope not or that they rebuild. I also really enjoyed our vacation to Maui, Hawaii. We took a day trip to Oahu, Hawaii to see Pearl Harbor but didn't spend enough time there. I'd like to go back one day.
The Grand Canyon and Niagara Falls(Canada side) is on my Bucket List.
My husband is back to work at the steel mill which gives me a chance to get back to my routines. It's so much easier for me to eat well and get my exercise and house work done when he's not home. Day 3 of abs challenge is done. Tomorrow is a rest day.💪Mission Slimpossibles - June Strong!💪2 -

Weigh in day: Saturday
PW 250
CW 2505 -
@sunflowerhippi – I’m so sorry about your daughter’s father. I’m ADHD and my brain will hyper focus on everything negative and it’s all downhill from there. I will forever remain viciously independent.
@19shmoo69 – Toe stomping? What does that mean? I’m so Midwestern and I’m feeling that’s a Southern thing? And thank you for always praying for us
@Katmary71 – I really hope your roommate works through his issues quickly for your sake. Just remember that HE is in control of how he feels and you can’t fix him. Are you still liking the ionic foot baths?
@AustinRuadhain – I’m panting just thinking about all that exertion during a 95F day!
@laurelfit57 – I hope you have a great visit this weekend with your cousin!
@DrewsAnna – Nice day yesterday!
@trooworld – Sorry your husband is too “helpful”. Nice vacation destination!
@TeresaW2024 – Yes, that baby really IS taking her own sweet time! Thank you for the prayers. Savannah sounds beautiful.
Still no baby. I take Hunter to her OBGYN appt at 2:15 today and they will schedule her inducement. She’d like it to be Monday, so hopefully they will accommodate her. Her husband is beyond awful…he’s fighting the PPO and they scheduled the hearing for this coming Wednesday. He knows she’s about to give birth and won’t be able to be there. Hunter’s lawyer said this will look very unfavorable on him. Poor girl can’t even enjoy the birth of her daughter.
I’m trying to deal with all the stress as best as possible. I bought another watch yesterday since my FitBit bit the dust several months ago. Not sure if it’s the watch or MFP that is quirky, tho, cuz it’s giving me way too many exercise calories. Like yesterday I had just over 2,000 steps but it gave me over 500 calories. I’m just going to ignore those. I was doing so good yesterday with food choices…all whole foods and healthy. Then at 11pm all I could think about was peanut butter. I probably had 2 servings straight out of the jar. Put me at maintenance calories. I’m glad I didn’t go completely hog-wild, but still. I feel like I’m never going to get over this mental hump. Guess I’ll get this posted and go eat my broccoli and tater for lunch. Don’t forget to hydrate!
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PLACE (TO VISIT, TO VACATION OR IT MAY BE ON YOUR BUCKET LIST)
Ever since I was little, my dad would periodically take a Friday off from work and we’d pack up Thursday evening and head up north into Canada (via Sault Ste. Marie). I love travelling up there. I also love the Upper Peninsula. So many beautiful waterfalls and greenery. So Canada would be my favorite.
My bucket list trip would be the Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort in the Finnish Lapland. You can stay in a glass igloo under the Northern Lights. Perfect peace. I feel like it would be a spiritual experience.
Can you tell I prefer colder weather? LOLs
6 -
@vegan4lyfe2012 hopefully I can explain it in a proper way. Have you ever had someone accidentally step on your toe? Sometimes it barely hurts and it doesn't last too long. Then sometimes it feels like it crushed your toe and it lasts for days. So in a verse by verse Bible study we get chatting about how it affected them at that time and how it affects us now. We dig into the good and the bad. Those times where something is shared and you can feel the conviction and you're like Oh My That's Me. That's a toe stomping. I like the toe stomping as it keeps me in check. In most cases it causes me to change my way of thinking.
On a side I can say sometimes it's tough being one of (and sometimes the only) guy(s)/husband(s) in this group.8 -
Thursday Ice Breaker Question.
WHAT IS YOU FAVORITE PLACE ( TO VISIT, TO VACATION OR IT MAY BE ON YOUR BUCKET LIST)
I love Acadia National Park, and Cape Cod National Seashore. Both are near enough to drive, have great bicycling, nature, hiking, paddling, and swimming. And shopping. And food.
I also love Littleton NH and the surrounding area. Lots of places to explore, not only while I'm there, but all along the drive to get there. And then there's Polly's Pancake Parlor.... yummo!5 -

@AustinRuadhain Great job on all those green dots! Thanks you'll have to try an ionic foot bath sometime it's pretty cool!
@laurelfit57 Yum those are tasty tomato varieties, I have a San Marzano (I think, not sure if it made it to full size now but I have similar ones too). I'll try it in salsa if I do figure out which it is. Sounds like an exhausting day, you got a lot done!
@DrewsAnna Hope you love it! Congrats on the 2lb loss!
@micaroo4 Yikes biking to work then it pouring isn't good, I'm glad Rich was able to get you. Great job getting in the workouts!
@19shmoo69 I've heard great things about Japan I hope you go sometime.
@trooworld Mexico City sounds awesome! Coffee from the cafe isn't bad way to go on fitting it in.
@TeresaW2024 Have a great time with your niece and the kids!
@Veta2018 Great job getting day 3 of abs done!
@vegan4lyfe2012 Thank you! I DO like the ionic foot baths, she wants to try some cranial sacral therapy soon which I'm interested in. Wow Hunter's husband sounds awful I'm so sorry. You're under a lot of stress you're doing great just being at maintenance! Wow that view is incredible!
Hi team! For my favorite place I'd pick my aunt's house on Lake Tapps in Washington, the backyard is on a lake with Mount Everest in the distance, I'll include a pic when I post this. It's more because of family but there's a lot of fun things to do in Seattle too.
Not much new, worked out, went to the greenhouse this morning, then work. I helped a practitioner make a video she can look back on to edit before she does an upcoming podcast, we're doing a more professional one tomorrow. It's weird she comes on real strong but when it's not directed at you (total used car salesman) and she's just talking her enthusiasm for healing is really beautiful. I've encouraged her to make videos as I tend to run from pushy people and I think it will show her more compassionate side and give people like me a chance to see her in a different light. Roommate was at work today and we got along well, I'm ready to just let it all go but he is saying stuff like how people do things to trigger a reaction out of him and I'm sure he's thinking that with me but when I'd talked to the manager it was a comment as I saw red flags and was concerned but hadn't labeled him yet so as far as I go I didn't even expect him to hear about it nevermind react. Funny as he'll say he KNOWS what something means because of his rough past but if someone is projecting that's wrong and their fault they paint everyone with the same brush and is very unfair to him for them to not realize he's different from everyone else. Yeah I know, that's why I haven't tried to talk yet! I have a board meeting at a bar tonight, haven't decided what I'm getting yet but off to look at the menu. My kidney stone's acting up again so not sure if I'll have a drink or not. Have a great Friday!3 -
6 -
@trooworld I have to admit, by the time I was posting yesterday my brain was done. I will post a picture of the clematis. I picked the fastest growing and best coverage. At the front of my patio there is no privacy. My cousin and his wife lived in Mexico City for five years. The only thing I know about Mexico City is that it is beautiful but the crime rate is super high. I guess they always had a driver/security who took them around to work and the kids to school. So if you go be careful :-).
@TeresaW2024 the fence I am putting it on is 6 foot tall by 6 foot wide, it can't really go anywhere else. What went on with those young men and women was so crazy. My dad was 17 when he joined up as a paratrooper. So glad the fasting is getting easier , I doff my cap to you! What do wow drops do?
@Vegan4lyfe that is crazy that there is no baby yet I feel like she has been due for the last two weeks. What is a PPO? Wow! That is a lot of exercise calories.
@katmary71 after I bought the tomato plants, I read that they can grow from 6 to 8 feet tall! Did yours get that tall?? I think the tallest ones I've ever had have been maybe three or 4 feet.
Sounds like things with your roommate are still complicated. I have never heard of a boardroom meeting in a bar L O L, that should be fun. You made me go look at my calendar when you said I have a happy Friday😜. Beautiful picture!
The weather here has been sunny the last couple of days but the wind has been insane. I want to just be outside enjoying things, but since the puppy is afraid of the wind and the things that blow around in the wind we don't go much further than the patio. We had our second agility foundations class, Ty did much better with her Halti. The first 3/4 of the class there was a lot of our puppies focussing on us and remaining calm, Ty did OK tonight! At the end of class everybody got to go through the tunnel, Ty had to wait her and was last in line. She was not impressed that she had to wait and the others got to go. The others have never been through tunnels before so they can be a bit worrisome and the other pups with convincing slowly went to the other side to join their handler. Ty came through the tunnel so fast, I didn't even see her come out🤣.4 -
Daily Check-In
🟢 kitchen pushups/squats
🟢 morning walk
🟢 45 minute exercise - stairsteppuing indoors (gicing the legs a break before I go cycling again tomorrow)
🟢 measure & log all food
🟢 nutritarian food plan (ate plants)
🟢 Met calorie goal (not too much; I did eat about 100 of my exercise calories but I am still heading to bed hungry, and I have to fast until about 3 PM tomorrow because of getting a physical)
@laurelfit57 - Here, 90F will feel like a cold front come July and August!
I did get abs done yesterday, and am doing them before bed again today, so Day 2 of the challenge. Woohoo! And also, phew.
I am envious of your plants!
I hope cleaning up for company goes well. That can be nice, as long as it's not too much of a fire drill.
@DrewsAnna - Hurray for the 2 lb loss!
I am a day behind you on the Abs Challenge, I think. Anyway, I am off to do them while I run a bath. I still have tired legs form cycling yesterday.
What is your walk at home plan? Is it the one I see online?
@19shmoo69
Thursday Ice Breaker Question
I got to visit Europe once, and want to go again.
Also, my husband would love to go to Japan, so hopefully we will do that!
@trooworld - Thanks for the thumbs up! I am kinda worried about the physical. I hate going in with my weight up, but it feels like time to check. And it does feel, with eating well and getting lots of 3xercise, as if I am heading the right direction.
@TeresaW2024 - Since you have some interest in D-Day, you might look at the Band of Brothers miniseries. My husband and I loved it, and then watched the The Pacific. Both were amazingly good.
I am interested because I had two grandads in that war. One was at D-Day +1. I never thought, until I watched the miniseries, about what that was like for him. He still came in through the beach. He headed inland and led a team that built temporary airstrips for the Allies.
My other grandad was at Okinawa and Iwo Jima (hence my interest in The Pacific).
@Veta2018 - Hurray for having reached a rest day in the Abs Challenge! O hope you enjoyed your day today.
@askewcr - Hurray for holding steady!
