    Good morning Waistaways 🥰

    CW 236.2lbs

I think it's a loss or though not much. I'm surprised actually. On Friday I went out for drinks and ate quite more than usually I would. Loss is a loss I guess 😊

Have a lovely Sunday everyone 🥰

You are down 1.4 pounds this week! That is great, even with a little celebration! I also updated your starting weight. Keep going!

Happy Monday, I suppose it is a holiday for most here.

So I did get my hair cut, and yes I donated it, I initially thought I wouldn't be able to because it was highlighted, but apparently that isn't a thing anymore. As for the haircut, I do not like it, it does not look like I wanted it to, it's very puffy. I will share pics from my phone in a moment.

This weekend was good with food, we did a nice 3 mile hike yesterday somewhere new to me, then watched the football game, it was a great game, and it even would have been a good game had we lost, we played Washington who were my team growing up, as I am from there, and they have been so bad for so long it was fun to see them looking like an actual football team.

Have a great day, and happy Thanksgiving.

My steps for the week (watch was dead until later Friday so Sun-Thurs are definitely underreported and only based on what my phone caught):

    Sun - 321
    Mon - 2003
    Tues - 1789
    Wed - 3166
    Thurs - 2408
    Fri - 5224
    Sat - 8197

So in a lot of ways I feel better but one thing that isn't better are my body aches, energy levels, and lung capacity. Just a short walk makes me feel really bad, and I am aching head to toe. So, that's not super encouraging for exercise, but as you can see I'm trying to build up slowly while still giving myself space to rest.

Great job steppers! I need to catch up with you Ellie!

@ashleycarole86 take the time you need to recuperate. You can start slowly like you are, but this may also give you some time to focus on the nutrition side of weight loss.

@Gidgitgoescrzy I hate when I see a picture of a hairstyle I like, and then it doesn't look the same on me! That is awesome you were able to donate it! Are you able to post that picture?

This week is going really well so far. I have my book club on Wednesday and I tend to overeat there. It's like all this yummy food and splurge. I am making apple crisp, so while it's not completely healthy, there is fruit in it! My goal is to only fill my plate (they are small snack size plates) once and not go back for seconds.

I went to body pump tonight, but couldn't lift as heavy as normal. I did yard work yesterday, including raking up nuts and acorns and wowza...I felt like an old lady with my back this morning. I will definitely be laying on the heating pad tonight! :D

@Lyss983 Congrats on 40lbs, thats awesome.

And thanks for the reminder about Darebee, you posted this before and I checked it out and they have some nice programs, I need to start one, but my brain says, " you can't start something till the 1st day of the month" which is a super silly way to think, so I need to overcome that, and just start.

Yesterday was a good day, almost perfect.

Today I am going for a perfect day ! My knee has been going out after our hike on Saturday, I know it has to do with going downhill, so although I've been doing my pt stuff, it's not stopping the issue caused by going downhill, and I refuse to give up hiking, so I gotta figure it out.

    Have a happy Tuesday !

Ignore my funny face. lol - So I talked to my friend who used to do my hair for a long time, but moved away, and she said I can get it to do this, I just have to do alot of thinning, and told me how to do it myself, so once I get up the courage, I will do it.

I typically won't thin my hair because it makes it tangle very easily and, she explained that I was just thinning the last 2-3 inches, so it shouldn't be a problem.

hm. I definitely typed out a post on Sunday and I guess it never posted. darn. Well, the wedding was very fun. I was so sad to leave.

Happy late Thanksgiving to our Canadian friends.

I was very lazy for the US holiday yesterday, truly did almost nothing all day. But today was good - new commute to our new office, which is a pretty nice space and builds some steps into my day that the old commute didn't. Perhaps a long awaited return to the step challenge is on the horizon for me. I didn't have much of a dinner but I also didn't go crazy with snacks, as has been the case recently. Other meals were good. PT was basically 65 min of sweating and I followed it up with dance cardio with my girls. Two new songs in our mix and I really liked both!

    Ready for bed now.

    @Gidgitgoescrzy Vicki, love the hair!

    @Lyss983 awesome milestone!!

Week has been hit or miss. Work has been busy and my classes are picking up with assignments and due dates. Next 2 weeks will be busy but also going to schedule myself well to manage my case load and not rely on snacks to get me through.

    Hi everyone!
Still waiting on results. Drs telling me a few weeks. So I’ve been walking a lot to help keep my mind busy. On track with food, water, logging, sleep, etc. it has been a little cooler this week. But just loving the fall colors.

Ya know something I've learned since losing weight, I can't take the cold, I dropped most of the weight in late winter / early spring, so I guess I didn't have a chance to really realize how much it insulated me, it was 44F this morning and I was soooo cold... I haven't turned the heat on yet, so maybe that has something to do with it, but if not, I am just going to have to move to the tropics.

I've been snacking on really bad things lately, namely a bag of reese cups I had in the freezer. I keep thinking I can limit myself, I can't.

Okay on to a better week.

    Have a great day !

@lauren_989 I see you flirting with the last of the 200s there - you go girl! Nice week

@Gidgitgoescrzy I especially love the color of your hair - beautiful!

It has been a REALLY REALLY busy week at work, so excuse my absence! I am still not 100% so we have been going to bed super early every night. I have a work party tonight so it won't be as early and can't work from home tomorrow as the rule is 4 days in and Monday was a holiday so tomorrow is day 4.

This week has been hectic. It's already Thursday and I just realized I haven't been in the chat all week! Clearly, I did not do so well this last week sticking to my diet or exercise. I had one perfect day. At least I had one, but there should be more. However, my in-laws are coming into town today. They are going to park their camper trailer in our front parking area for a few days. Luckily, I love them and get along with them, but the whole trip has me a little stressed out. It will be fun, but I am looking forward to next week when I can get back to a routine.

@ashleycarole86 & @bowens1973 - Your trip to France looks like it was so much fun! Also, you're a really cute couple. Thanks for sharing pictures.

@gidgitgoescrzy - I like the haircut! And, I actually understand the problems of thick hair. I also have really thick hair and have shaved the bottom half for the last few years just to take some weight off, keep me cool in the summer, and reduce the time it takes to do my hair. I'm thinking about growing it back out this winter just to see if I am ready to deal with all of it again.

@jen_967 - Walking is a great way to keep the mind busy. I hope you get answers soon!

For everyone who celebrated Canadian Thanksgiving, I hope your day was awesome!

For those who had Monday (Columbus Day) off, I also hope your day was awesome!
