That's a pretty fast clip young lady!
Well done!
(cautiously, cause goldilocks zone is what we want!)
Fun play time for your next banana cousin venture:
Next time ask him to serve your pancake dry. When I do the butter at the table I always end up using less simply because I get to see it on the item as opposed to it being already melted. And it tastes just as good, but with less quantity of butter used.
Syrup it helps if you use shot glasses instead of the bottle. But what would be downright awesome and probably keep you full till some evening bunnies would be some egg/egg white omelette or scramble on the pancake. I admit: with syrup on top of both pancake and egg!!!π€―π€―π€―π€―
Actually for the syrup.... screw the aunt Jemima and maple syrup stuff that are all relatively runny and less intense tasting so we end up using more to get enough of a taste.
Say no to reduced caloric efficiency per unit of taste when you can substitute in a higher value option!!!π€£π€£π€£
Dutch stroop waffle syrup is more intense in terms of taste and much thicker. Thus it stays on top instead of being absorbed into the syrup absorbing vehicle, resulting in more flavor for less calories!
Make the hamsters happy with fewer calories!
And profit by eating more for less! ππ€£π€£π€£

Bunnies in the form of berries today - big, beautiful bowl of strawβ blackβ blueβ & raspβ ing ones wth Greek Yoghurt π Veggies of spuds, carrots & peas.

All very good advice, PAV. The corn syrup works very well on the thick, doesn't absorb syrup front so will stick to that from here on in.
Not sure if I will engage in a battle of the wills :) with cuz (whose name is Will) becauseβ¦lolβ¦just because. He feels like a brother and like we are both young teenagers most times. You would have to know him to understand the great success I've accomplished on this front already. Might not be much more room for friendly negotiation.
And there is already a battle of the wills going on between cousin Will and our friend who joins us for these pancake breakfasts. She wants to put on her own butter - because she wants LOTS. He maintains control over the butter dish in a very humorous / imperial manner :) Butter IS an issue.
I don't mind living large every few weeks. But, I am going to risk all and try for a smaller pancake next time. I was uncomfortably full yesterday.
Sounds like a wonderful herd/group/flock of bunnies, Creamtea!1 -
sounds like you've got the plan ms LK!
Tea is hoping them bunnies!

Homemade Baked Beans and Bacon & Berlotti Bean Stew β¦adds up to 9 Bunnies for 1,200 kcals . Tired after C25K, but overate last week. Evened out?! π

Random bunnies because I was trying to make tuna "salad" but had no un-frozen veggies!
- One cucumber bunny (cheater bunny: was 80g instead of 85)
- Three boiled beats bunnies (a package of love-beats! was 266g)
- One olives bunny 50-50 green and black (do olives count as bunnies? hmmmβ¦. I am not sure about that!!!! I am surprised that their official caloric count is not as high as I always thought it would be. They were 90g between the two kinds, so making up for the cheating cucumber!!! π)
Since I still have 50% of the salad left⦠I am contemplating heading to the store and snagging more cucumbers and some onions! For now⦠just five bunnies I guess!

β¦.olives are definitely bunnies β¦. Lovely stretching beety salad PAV!
Did run last evening around Ogden water - local beauty spot, has a farm shop nearby; brought berriesand going to have medley with Greek yoghurt for breakfast β¦ thatβs 3 portions of bunnies to start a good day?! ππππ2 -
MOAR BUNNIES (with the second half of the tuna salad)!!!!
- 2 tomato bunnies (190g)
- 0.5 onion bunny (47g)
- ~2.5 cucumber bunnies (205g)
So this is a TEN bunny day!!!
And I see that Tea is all ready for her morning bunnies!!!

I willβ¦sometimeβ¦draw these weird little bunnies we count here :) Love the idea of random odd bunnies. Congratulations, PAV. 10 bunnies!!!! woohoo.

Bunnie Painting oh my!

SIX cauliflower bunnies (technically 2 grams shy of the six bunniesβ¦ but, let's not overdo things here!!!!! π)

Yesterday's bunnies:
πππππππ ish
248g clementines, 15g field greens, 125g grape tomatoes, 1 veggie red curry soup, 105g banana
0 -
Woohoo! Look at dem bunnies go!
<wait what?>
A WHOLE FIELD is just 15g?!?!?!?!?!? π²
I think i want to try your red curry soup someday!

It is pretty easy :) I'm learning from you! Or you can just come to Newfoundland and have some - or Ontario :)
That green stuff doesn't weigh very much when it is simply garnishing a "moderate" sandwich :) - I'm getting better at this moderation thing with bread. So long as it is the correct type of bread that doesn't suck me into the bread vortex.1 -
This is AWESOME news (and yes, "correct" does help!)
1 -
It is a pretty important skill :) Sound like I'm being facetious but not. This summer, sandwiches will probably be at least 1/3 of my menu so it is good if I can accomplish that without devouring an entire loaf of bread in the middle of the night.
Big BUNNY day yesterday!
ππππππππππ ish
248g clementines, green soup, 150g potatoes, 150g cauliflower (both mashed together :)), 117g banana

Lost track of bunny counting over past day or so; work - as usual - has been all consuming! Will be under cals!
Today, Bunnies so far & planned - berries πππ courgetti π, apple π carrots & onions πNot too bad π

Yesterday's bunnies:
ππππππππ ish
247g morning clementines, green soup, 15g field greens, 200 g afternoon clementines :), 117g banana
I just realized that I've NOT been reporting my bunnies. I swear keeping track really does make a difference in the bunnies I eat. Not so that I can "report" more bunnies - but because it makes me think of bunnilicious foods.
1 -
But it's way more fun to eat bunnies to report more bunnies than to have eaten none to report!
1 -
Yes! What he said :)

Yesterday's bunnies. Too many bunnies. Too many foods overall.
ππππππππππππ ish
210g morning clementines, 15g field greens, red curry soup, green soup, 125g grape tomatoes, 92g afternoon clementines, 95g afternoon banana, 127g potato, 90g evening banana
0 -
Too many foods is NOT a problem is the CALORIES were OK :)
The bunnies you list are NOT adding up to anything humongous!!!! I can only assume that the NON bunnies were the culprits! Effing NON bunnies⦠they are out there waiting to pounce!
0 -
Yeah - lots of non bunnies. Still under maintenance - but the pounds are creeping up on the scale.
The freaking bread is taking control again. "Moderation" only seems to last so long. I could so happily live on sandwiches - but just doesn't agree with me.
Belly is bloated - and I can only guess lots of water retention??? Calories in don't = pounds showing up on the scale.
Onwards and downwards :) hopefully!!! Only one slice of bread left in the freezer - and that will no doubt be gone before days end. π
0 -
But why bloating young lady? Does that indicate having to make an appointment to get a tune-up?!?!? I bought some finn crisps the other dayβ¦. as a "bread substitute" (plus on sale!) ;-)
1 -
Too much bread = bloat. Always has :( Two slices a day - seems okay - but if it creeps up - which it always does - then along comes the bloat. I keep thinking I'm imagining it - but everytime I try it is the same thing.
No more bread in the freezer. See how the next few days goβ¦.π€0 -
Who would have thunk all this! I only came up with "have you been tested for gluten sensitivity!" The "AI" says:
Summary Table: Common Causes of Bread-Related Bloating
Cause
Mechanism
Who is Most Affected
Gluten intolerance/celiac
Immune or sensitivity reaction to gluten
Celiac, gluten-sensitive
FODMAPs (fructans)
Fermentation by gut bacteria produces gas
IBS, sensitive guts
Wheat intolerance
Lack of enzymes for wheat digestion
Wheat-sensitive individuals
Processed ingredients
Water retention, erratic digestion
General population
Overeating/eating quickly
Swallowing air, overloading digestion
Anyone
Yeast intolerance
Sensitivity to bakerβs yeast
Yeast-sensitive individuals
Poor gut health
Reduced digestive efficiency, dysbiosis
Those with gut issues
Wellβ¦. once the freezer meanies go away you will feel better!

Wow, PAV. Thank you. I think that is me right smack dab in the middle :) It really feels like water retention kind of bloating - not the gas kind. Even my shins! They get this little bump below my knee :) looks like fat but it comes and goes.
This is great inspiration. I don't think I will give myself a "no bread ever" rule. Just not "grocery" bread :) No loaf of bread in the kitchen luring me away from the healthier choices. If I should happen to go out for breakfast - woohoo - toast is fine :) Or a veggie dog on a bun at IKEA. Just not an everyday staple.1 -
πππ only today.
1 -
I GOTZ bunnies EVERYWHERE! π
Salad bunnies yesterday! Mandolin bunnies yesterday! Mandolin bunnies today! Even tomato sauce must have SOME bunnies!!!
14 bunnies in the lunch to lunch 24 hour time period! Plus a 650g jar or spinach cheese spaghetti sauce... which i recon SHOULD probably count for at least 6 bunnies giving a kewl π20 πfor the two days!!π
2 -
OH MY!!!!!!!! 14 - that is a lot of bunnies in 24 hours :)
