@lauren_989 I noticed that although the results are for week 2, it says "Week 1 Winners" at the top of the post. My bad. I'll fix that.

I do not think of myself as a very competitive person, but the pride I felt when I saw “Shape Shifters” take the #1 spot this week? Whoa!! Amazing job Team!!!💜

Congratulations to @Krysless2, @PatriceFitnessPal and @nancyinmiami — who placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd on our team, and who helped put Shape Shifters in 1st place by placing 5th, 6th and 7th overall!

Just a few more reporting of steps and week 2 will be complete:
@angmarie28 — 7/11, 7/12
@jessicakrall8 — 7/12 😉
@Krysless2 — 7/12
Who's going to win the Step Challenge this week? Not me, but maybe you?
FYI: I'm trying for a couple Garmin hiking badges this month, so maybe I'll do better next week.

Well, problems with my ring again; somehow, it was not connected to Samsung Health. Corrected Steps for 7/12. I'm sure it's too late for the weekly totals, but I wanted to at least get it right for the monthly. Ugh, sorry about this @frankwbrown.

Sunday walk around the neighborhood, even hit a couple garage sales!
For those that are interested, the Bear Cams are active. Fat Bear week will be in October where you can vote for the bear you think most successfully prepared for hibernation.4 -

Well, I have officially hit a plateau. Anyone have any ideas? I suppose I'm not eating enough since I'm exercising so much. I'm not sure what the answer is, but I did lose visceral fat! This, too, shall pass.

@FWSWCindy - From your weekly weigh-in report, it looks as though you’ve lost about 35 pounds — that’s fantastic!
It’s great to hear you lost visceral fat, too. As we move closer to our goal weight, it definitely takes more time for the scale to register a loss. You might need to add more calories on the nutrition side. Other team mates will have more guidance on the science and techniques that give your body the break and rest needed, but I don’t know enough about it.
I just thought I’d drop in to lend some encouragement and honor how far you’ve come. For me, it takes about a month to move the scale by one pound so I’m not the best person to advise on how to overcome a plateau. Hang in there — you’ve got this!2 -
@FWSWCindy I don't know if anyone else experiences this, but this is something I've become aware of about myself.
This is about a feeling of self — who I am, and how that involves not just a mental/emotional/spiritual sense of self, but also a body awareness. And it seems I have a desire to maintain, or reattain, a certain body awareness — a sense of self when I was heavier and less active. I'm also aware of another sense of self — one that I'm more aware of right after having exercised. It's a distinction between being aware of my lean body mass and being aware of that plus the extra fat I carry around. I think sometimes I feel the need to eat not because I'm hungry but because I subconsciously want to get back to that "fat me" sense of self. Now, I try to remind myself that it's that "lean me" sense of self that I want. So, now when I get the feeling "I should eat something", I try to check in with my "lean body self" to see if that's something "we" really want to do. It usually isn't. 😂
