Daily Check In: Are You On Track Today?

DW, Were your DH and DD watching Ohio State and Indiana. Sorry Ohio State lost. John and I watched the game too. I read during a lot of sporting events on TV, but I paid a little more attention tonight because this was a pretty high profile game. I hope your cough eases up and keep you from a restful night's sleep. Thanks for your prayers for Craig. He sure needs them.
Shari, an earthquake can be quite frightening! I was in an earthquake while on vacation in Puerto Rico many many years ago. We were on the 8th floor of a 10 story hotel, and the bed I was in actually moved away from the wall! The most damage from that quake happened in the lobby of the hotel on ground floor. That experience still remains quite vivid in my mind even after all of these years.
I didn't do very well today with some of my food choices and didn't take the time to track. On a brighter note, I completed my big task for today, and it didn't take as long as I anticipated. Tomorrow I plan relax and read and have no demands on my time (that I know of).

I was able to stay on track with my eating yesterday. It will be a bit tricker today, but I am hoping to make wise choices.
Today, we have a memorial to attend for Rick. He passed away a year ago and he didn't want a funeral. A few friends will gather for brunch and spend time being thankful for his life.
I decorated the house through the course of the day. I am pleased with the results.0 -
Hello! Paula, yes, that was the football game… Ohio State certainly didn’t play up to their ability. It was announced that the Offensive Coordinator was leaving a day or so before the game. Hopefully the players heard it before that but it doesn’t seem fair to make that kind of announcement right before a big game. DH doesn’t think it would impact the game and I don’t see how it couldn’t.
Shari, I’m glad you were able to get decorating done! Mine will be done as soon as I move the storage totes out of the living room-possibly this afternoon.
It has been snowing all day here. I did Facebook church but must now venture out to the grocery store. DD is going with me. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday!0 -
Shari, I think it is beautiful that some of Rick's friends will gather on the anniversary of his passing. Congrats on your Christmas decorating accomplishment.
DW, It is cold here but no snow which makes me happy. John and Buster are brave about venturing out several times a day in the cold. I am proud of both of them.
I surprised myself with how well I did today with food and tracking. I was craving carbs and indulged a bit yet stayed within my point range. Both John and I felt tired today and rested most of the day. I napped quite a bit and feel that I needed it as I went into some deep sleep with these naps. My to do list for tomorrow is minimal. So I am expecting an easy and successful day.
