Men on a Mission thread

Greetings men,
As requested, I have created a thread here in the groups section. I used the name originally given to this thread back when I joined it long ago. I am hoping all of you have found this and will continue to use it. I will monitor both threads for a while. I made this thread private to prevent any new men from joining at this point. If folks begin to drop out and we need some new guys, I'll change the setting to public. We currently have about 25 guys which is about my max to keep track of.

Here is last weeks chart just to get us started off on.

Nice new digs Tim, thanks for keeping up with this big group. Good job this week guys. Inspiring posts this AM.

I'm leaving today on a business trip to MO, so weighing in a day early. Lot's of eating out ahead of me this week. Hope I make the correct choices. Hated being in the RED last week. Don't want to do that again.

    LW - 372.2 11/7/11
    CW - 369.4 11/13/11
    Loss 2.8 lbs

    Have a good week guys!

So what happened to the Signatures? Did they do away with them?

Guess it's for the best. Some folks tended to get a little crazy with the 5 pics and 3 graphs and 2 charts. One post would take 1/2 a page.

Thanks Tim, it was nice, especially because the clothes were fitting better and the scale was going up. I know I can't build muscle that fast, so I'm happy the scale is back in line. :-)

    LW - 233.4 (11/6/11)
    CW - 233.0 (11/13/11)
    Lost - 0.4

I'm actually surprised I went down at all this week, especially since I've only been to the gym like twice in the last two weeks and going over my calories more than I care to admit.... time to get my lazy *kitten* back in gear & hit the gym again!!

Re-posting my Friday check in, just in case it got lost in the old thread:

    LW: 254.10
    CW: 252.00
    Lost: 2.1 pounds
  • OK guys no figures this week been moving home - scales still not unpacked and been grabbing junk when I can, so back to as normal as possible now and back with new figures next week. Recording this week as no change. Graeme

I looked again at last weeks number for me.

Oops, I was more than that at 223 .

This week i am 220lb and almost at my adjusted (first) goal of 218lb.

Not sure if losing more is in the immediate future ... time to build muscle and lose the skin hanging off me.

My Dr says my goal should be 90kg (another 22lb down from now).

No-one supports that yet, so enter maintenance mode this week.

But I am here to support you all and by all means friend me.

    Cheers

    Gary

    Greetings and Salutations Men's Group,
Huge High 5 to StevLL for being this week's biggest loser. Heck, while we are at it, high 5's all the way around. Everyone is doing awesome. I love the dedication you all are putting in to staying committed. Almost everyone posted a loss this week. That is awesome.

I am back at work this week after 2 weeks off. I find it MUCH easier to stay true to my diet while working. There is no fridge or anything to walk by and tempt me. I was finally able to really get back on the racquetball court and push myself competitively. I would guess my shoulder is about 85% better and as long as I use my brace, my knee doesn't give me too much grief.

    2 new men joined this week. Lets give shabbarsheikh and DarinF4 a welcome. Here is a breakdown of what the acronyms at the top of each column mean;
    SW -Starting Weight
    GW -Goal Weight
    LW - Last Week
    CW - Current Weight
    WT - Weekly Total
    TWL - Total Weight Lost
    DLP - Date Last Posted

    Blue - Posted a loss
    Yellow - Posted no change
    Red - Posted a gain
White - Did not recieve an update

Thanks DarinF4. I post the new chart on Monday mornings. If you can, send me your updates on Saturday or Sunday (Monday morning at the latest) and I will update your stats on the next chart. I will put these stats you just sent into my original excel sheet for now.
