2/17/2022, Fitbit Steps not coming to MFP
In fact cannot get Fitbit to show as my Step Tracker, but it shows linked. Calories go from MFP to Fitbit, Steps do not go from Fitbit to MFP.

Manipulating the Calories Remaining Calculation
Is there a way to manipulate the Exercise credit to the Calories Remaining Calculation? I would like to not quite get full credit, but say 0.50 to 0.75 of the exercise calorie credit reported to MFP by my FitBit. I don't entirely trust the calorie estimate from the FitBit and would like to modify the value in the form of a…

fitbit is changing my weight status
I just connected a Charge 3 fitbit the other day and every day, it's reducing my weight by .1. Then it updates my fitness pal...which then posts it to my feed. I have looked everywhere in my settings and cannot figure out why it is doing it. I have stopped myfitnesspal from posting the weightloss for now, but I will either…

So I recently got a fit bit and it tells me how many calories I burn during sleep. Should those be counted in order to help me achieve a calorie surplus?

Calorie Adjustment from Fitbit Steps
I can see steps from the Fitbit in MFP, so they are syncing. But they are not added to my exercise, and the calories burned are not being applied to my calorie allotment. I'm so frustrated, why is this so hard? I've seen other questions about this from several years ago, but the fixes don't work. All I want is to have…

New
Hi everyone I am new to this app. I joined a weight loss group in 2/2020 and did really well losing 40 pounds and my cholesterol went through the roof. I've gained back 20 pounds and am interested in taking that off. I am looking for life-style changes. My naturopath suggested carb-cycling and this seemed like the best app…

Track exercise from Fitbit to MFP
Hi everyone, I have a fitbit and I know that exercise and tracking food on MFP will go to my Fitbit app, however I am wondering if there is a way to track my fitbit exercises to MFP. For example I use my fitbit to calculate my runs, but it only stays in the app. If I input my run manually into MFP, it gets counted twice.…

Logging exercise
Hi there, My Fitbit is linked to myfitnesspal. I’ve noticed that when I exercise and then check myfitnesspal there’s already a # of calories calculated. My Fitbit has a higher #. Should I still log the exercise with the calories burned from my Fitbit or just trust this app? Hope that makes sense

How to Link the FitBit App
Hello: I am going in circles trying to sync the FitBit app to MyFitness Pal app. I've followed the instructions several times but FitBit is not showing up under Exercise. I am trying to track all my regular steps plus my walking on treadmill. Any advice will be greatly appreciated!

Back at it again... This time with a vengeance!
I've done this a few times before but I let myself fall off track because of mental health issues. I also kept struggling with finding a happy balance of being able to see friends and not obsess over caloric intake while being out and about. I KNOW I'm finally at a place where I can kick butt at this and reach my goals. I…

Newbie - Again.
Hi, I am back and happy to be back. I had been trying to do WW and it was not going well for a few years. When they changed the program, I gained. I also had a lot of changes in my life with my parent's health issues. I maintained the gain but stayed the same. My new doctor last week handed me a sample sheet of calories…

InMotion Compact Strider Exercise?
Hi! I use the InMotion Compact Strider as my main at-home workout equipment and was curious what to log it as in the app? I've used the stairs/walking option but I want to make sure I log it correctly since there's not a strider option. Someone mentioned Elliptical Trainer as an option but this machine doesn't have the…

MFP gave me an Xtra Calorie allowance today.
(To preface.. I have been using MFP and Fitbit together for tracking, about a year) This morning before I had even done anything and went into the app to log breakfast, MFP had given me an extra +800 calorie allowance for "Fitbit excercise. I keep syncing my fitbit.. now it's evening, and although I haven't gotten but…

Problems connecting to Fitbit Charge 4
Hi I have had My Fitness Pal connected to my fitbit Charge 4 for ages but suddenly yesterday it disconnected for some reason. I managed to get it to reconnect yesterday but it has now disconnected again and when I try to reconnect it says there is a server error. I have tried logging out of both apps and in again, both on…

Confused about Fitbit Calorie adjustment
I normally go for a brisk walk in the morning and walk around 7500 steps. Since I've synced up my Fitbit and MFP, I see a Fitbit calorie adjustment of around 240 calories. I assumed this means I can eat 240 calories more than my daily goal. By evening, this calorie adjustment number drops to 100, sometimes 20, sometimes 0.…
