Week 5: Dry Week
I'm posting this challenge early as I probably won't be accessing the internet too much over the weekend, too much else on! So, starting Monday 10 November, I challenge you to not consume a single drop of alcohol all week (not even in your cooking!). I know this challenge will be easy for some, if you don't usually drink…
WeeK 4: Challenge Your Mind
This week's challenge comes from mellyboobear: Learn something new about nutrition/wellness/fitness/health everyday for the week. So get out there, Google up a storm, dust off some old books and feed your mind. Maybe post your findings here so we can all learn from them
Week 3: Try something new
This week I challenge you to try a new food or drink every day. Go for something you have never tried before. It doesn't have to be a whole meal, just a snack. But make sure you really give it a good taste. I'm starting things off by trying a blueberry chia pod by The Chia Co. It's like a chia seed dessert type pod, and…
Week 2: Make It Yourself
This week I'm challenging you to make 2 out of 3 of your daily main meals yourself (or 4 out of 6 if you eat 6 small meals a day). This doesn't include snacks, but your larger meals only. I know making your own meals can be a real challenge for some, so I haven't asked for it to be every meal this week (even I wouldn't do…
When I've lost my food mojo...

I say that only because if it says eat a plum and they aren't in season I'll replace with another fruit. Or I really hate tuna, so I'll replace with chicken. I keep it like for like.…
Week 1: No sweets for the week!
For this week I'm making a simple challenge of no sweets: specifically chocolate, cakes, slices, ice cream, candy and soda for a week. Last week I really struggled to contain myself with anything sweet so hopefully this challenge will help to rein my cravings in! Good luck, and remember to keep us updated
Ideas for future challenges...
Here's some ideas for what we could possibly use for future challenges: - No fast food for a week - No alcohol for a week - No prepackaged meals for a week: everything must be made from scratch - Try one new food that you have never tried before every day of the week - Replace a favourite daily TV show episode with a walk…
Ways you can reward yourself
I thought it would be helpful to post a few different ways that you can reward yourself if you achieve each challenge. The focus is to get away from rewarding yourself with food or drinks. - Book a massage, hair treatment, manicure, pedicure or other beauty treatment - See a movie or buy a new DVD - Buy a new clothing item…
