"Eat food, not too much, mostly plants."
Sick of measuring, weighing, and writing it all down? You might like Michael Pollan's book, "In Defense of Food." He's got seven simple guidelines, found here.
I need to simplify my eating. Personally, I want to stay away from processed foods, I want to eat well (because I'm a food snob), and I want to look forward to home-cooked meals for one.
I have health and wellness issues and goals, but I don't really want to share that. I don't want to tell you about my people, my beliefs, or my politics. I want to talk about the food. The food that doesn't come in wrappers or with ingredient lists. I think if I stay focused on the foods that genuinely nourish me, that are a pleasure to eat, I'll be able to stay away from things that take me off course.
And I really want to read what others like too. Because I would love to find some new foods to enjoy as well.
