Thanks everyone! Sorry for the late reply... Life has been so busy lately. It's just nice to know I'm not the only one that struggles with this. For now I think I'm going to ease back into this as I've been off here for awhile now. I got a gym membership and I'm going at least three times weekly in addition to eating…

I'm down about 4 pounds! I just started a couple of weeks ago though so I expected to lose quickly at first.
-
I totally understand this. I think I've finally found the right meds to treat my depression and anxiety so I'm hopeful I'll be able to have a successful weight loss journey!
-
Count me in! I agree this seems realistic and I love reading everyone's posts. I recently restarted and have 100 lbs to lose. Down three in the past week!
-
My goal is 160 then I'll adjust from there. I used to be a size 6 so that's also kind of my goal.
-
I'm also pressing the reset button.... life has been extremely stressful and I just need to focus on my goals again!
-
I'm back a year later, 15 pounds heavier and wondering how I'm going to restart. I've been in my first year of professional school and it's killing me. I used to be able to exercise at least 1 hour each day... now 15 minutes feels like a huge dent in my time. Oh, also plantar fasciitis.

At a size 6 I was probably around 145 lbs. I'm 5'6. I would say a person my height definitely does not look anorexic below a size 10. When I was a size 6 I still could have lost weight and been fine.

Try to pick calorie dense foods, that way even if you're eating small amounts you will get more calories. Maybe even drink your calories if a smoothie or something sounds more doable. I know that when this happens to me I feel like throwing up every time I eat but sometimes I can have a smoothie without feeling so bad.
-
Eat more frequently, just smaller amounts. This is what helped me. Also, eat a lot of protein and possibly less carbs.

I love lemon water, but after drinking it for a long time my teeth became sensitive to cold and heat. I don't really drink it anymore because of this but still have it occasionally
-
Personally I'd wait because (I think) my face changes a lot when I lose or gain weight. If you only have 10-15 pounds to lose, it may not make a big difference, it just depends on the person.

I can now walk 6 miles without stopping at 4mph instead of 4 miles at 4mph. Going the extra 2 miles makes me feel accomplished for some reason.

Thanks! And no, I don't eat the peel

Just thought I'd throw it out there to put ice on it- felt great when I had them :)

As of right now I have a small goal- lose the 12 more pounds to get under 200 lbs. I will then probably have a goal of getting to 180, and so on. I have a general time in which I'd like to lose the 12 lbs, but I'm not going to freak out if I don't make it by then. I think if I just thought about my long term goal, it would…
-
I want to go zip lining! Is that the proper term?
-
Yep I usually do the same, but this was extremely last minute. Not too worried about it though, it's only one day.
-
It wasn't really a complaint, more of a comment. I don't drink soda at home so I ordered it out. The Dr. Pepper is like the same as one breadstick :D

If you are changing your starting weight then it won't show you how much you have lost. You have to click "check in" and add a new weight- then it will tell you how much you have lost.

1. I want to look good again 2. I don't want the health problems my dad has 3. I really want to wear shorts again without feeling self conscious

I'm a vegetarian, and what I would suggest to you is try a couple of days a week without meat to see if it's for you. I personally think that you can be extremely healthy and still eat meat, it's just not for me.
-
I do this too. Way more satisfying to me. I eat 300-500 for lunch and snack and then around 1000 for dinner.
-
I drink crystal light but it has artificial sweeteners so that may not help :/
-
I had hypoglycemia when I was younger (middle school age)... I would completely black out almost every morning for awhile and would get very shaky during exercise. My doctor never had me check my blood sugar then, only eat more protein and carbs and eat more often. Definitely try to eat small snacks more frequently to stop…

This is how I was with Coke- my boyfriend and I no longer keep soda in the house. We only buy it if we need it to mix with drinks and even then we buy a 1 liter so we don't over indulge.

I have a turvis bottle that has measurements on it. Also, I use a pur faucet filter right now, but will probably switch to a pitcher soon.
-
It doesn't have pus! Also, given the chance other species (your cat or dog) will also drink cow's milk. I personally only like milk on occasion, but milk doesn't have pus or hurt the cow or make you drink harmful hormones like a lot of people think
